(In a space of blackness, Akira comes in)

Akira: Hi there, readers. I believe you know what happened in the last episode.

(Bucky Barnes is seen with a metallic arm)

Akira: Bucky Barnes became a new member of the Avengers, now with the codename Winter Soldier.

(Then the rejuvenated Ironwood is seen)

Akira: What is Ironwood planning next?

(At Times Square, the heroes are seen eating some burritos, except for Palutena and Winter Soldier)

Palutena: I'm so glad Spider-Man managed to win the Mortal Kombat Tournament.

Winter Soldier: I'm impressed about it. I doubt Steve, Natasha or anyone could have done what he did. He made that Ironwood look like a loser.

(Unbeknownst to them, Ironwood comes in)

Palutena: Coming to congratulate us for our victory, General?

Winter Soldier: Ironwood is here?

(The other heroes take notice about it and see the general of Atlas)

Bolin: Man, he is... younger than last time.

(Winter Soldier points the gun at Ironwood)

Ironwood: Mistress Salem has another challenge for you! A new Mortal Kombat Tournament in Remnant. If my mistress wins, she can conquer the earth. If you win, she will abandon such claim forever.

Palutena: Send your mistress my regards!

(Ironwood smirks and clicks a button, opening a portal, then various Atlas Soldiers come out of the portal and attacks the heroes. Enraged, Palutena fights Ironwood while Winter Soldier helps the heroes to fight the Atlas Soldiers. He shoots most of them down, but Clover Ebi uses his hook and throws him to Elm, who hits him hard, knocking him out. Splinter, Mako, Bolin and Asami are seen fighting the Atlas Soldiers as well. Bolin blocks a fire arrow, only to be knocked out by Harriet. Mako and Asami try their luck, only to be overwhelmed by Vine and Marrow. Splinter fights the Ace Operatives and manages to defeat them, but a familiar enemy pierces his heart. Captain America fights the Shredder. The first avenger holds his own against Oroku Saki, but is knocked out by Crossbones)

Crossbones: Let's take them to our mistress! (looks at Winter Soldier) Except for him.

(Then the defeated heroes are taken away by the villains)

(Some hours later, Winter Soldier wakes up)

Winter Soldier: Ugh... what happened?

Palutena: You fought the Atlas Soldiers, but Clover and Elm knocked you out.

Winter Soldier: What about Steve?

Korra: They took him away. Just like Mako, Bolin and Asami.

Tenzin: We must save them!

Leonardo: Shredder was with them, and he killed our master.

Spider-Man: I can take us there.

(Spider-Man picks up a portal ring and throws it as it shows Remnant)

Ruby: Alright, Team RWBY. Let's get back home!

Weiss: Should I remind you that we are helping our adorable boyfriend Spider-Man to take down Ironwood and Salem?

Raphael: We better hurry up! Our friends won't break free by themselves!

(Then the heroes go through the portal)

(In Remnant, Captain America, Mako, Bolin and Asami are seen tied up as the other heroes come in)

Ironwood: There you are.

Salem: So you finally accepted our challenge. Now let the Mortal Kombat begin! The first fight will be between Winter Soldier and Cardin Winchester!

(Then Winter Soldier and Cardin come in and prepare to fight)

Cardin: Prepare to be executed, freak!

Winter Soldier: You're the one headed to the graveyard, bully!

(Cardin uses his executioner and tries to hit Winter Soldier, who grabs the weapon with his metallic arm and shoves it off, then he starts beating the racist to a pulp.)

Winter Soldier: You're all talk!

(Then Ironwood approaches Salem and whispers something in her ear)

Salem: Tyrian, Watts. Take these four away. They will be executed!

Winter Soldier: What?

Ironwood: Did you really think you could save your friend easily? Now your Captain will pay for your sins!

(As the four heroes are taken away, Spider-Man picks up a radar from his utility belt and locates the place where the four are being taken.)

Spider-Man: (points the yellow point) This is where they are taking Captain. (points the red point) And this is where the rest is being taken.

Tenzin: I'll go and try to save the three.

Winter Soldier: Right. I'll try to save Steve.

Rogue: Just a second, what do you and Captain see in each other so special?

Winter Soldier: None of your business, young lady.

Rogue: You're very rude, you know.

Winter Soldier: Am I hurting your feelings by any chance?

Spider-Man: Not cool, man!

Winter Soldier: Stay out of this, Spider-Kid!

Rogue: You're so rude that you even offend my boyfriend? Now you asked for it!

Winter Soldier: Bring it on, bitch!

(Enraged, Rogue tries to punch Winter Soldier, who blocks her punch, then punches her belly before beating her to a pulp.)

Winter Soldier: Be glad your boyfriend cares about you!

(Then Spider-Man picks up a "1up Mushroom" and gives it to Rogue, healing her wounds, much for her surprise)

Rogue: I'm healed. I'm healed. (hugs Spider-Man) How formidable. Thank you, sugar.

(Then she kisses him as he picks another "1up Mushroom" and uses it. Then the green haired girl comes in and smiles seductively)

????: Oh... such a handsome boy... I want to have him so badly...

Winter Soldier: You...

????: But first, I'll have to remove two obstacles.

Winter Soldier: I won't be taken down so easily like last time!

(Winter Soldier draws his pistols as the girl draws hers. There is a shooting exchange which lasts two minutes before the girl turns her guns into chained blades. Winter Soldier evades one of the blades and grabs the other blade, then pulls her before hitting her face with his knee strike, then he punches her face and continues hitting her until he kicks her in a spartan way.)

Winter Soldier: Who's the easy prey now?

(At Mantle Underground, Captain America is seen tied up as Silver Sable keeps an eye on him.)

Silver Sable: If you haven't returned, Symkaria could be still rising.

(Then Silver Sable's agents get shot one by one. Then Winter Soldier comes in)

Winter Soldier: What motivated you to join Salem?

Silver Sable: I'm not loyal to anyone. Only to my country!

Winter Soldier: Let's see if your people will mourn your loss.

(The soldiers draw their guns and another shooting exchange happens. But then Silver Sable teleports behind Winter Soldier, only to be grabbed in the neck, then slammed down. Then Winter Soldier beats Silver Sable to a pulp until...)

????: Bucky Barnes, that's enough!

Winter Soldier: (points the gun) Who are you? Another enemies?

????: Nope.

????: My name is Joanna Greenleaf, this is Fiona Thyme, the blue haired woman is May Marigold and this is our leader Robyn Hill.

Robyn: We are the Happy Huntresses, part of the resistance.

Winter Soldier: Heroes in Remnant?

Rogue: I thought Teams RWBY and JNPR were the only ones.

Spider-Man: Well... there are still other heroes, like the deceased Ozpin, Teams CFVY, SSSN, NDGO, ABRN, Neon, Flynt, Glynda and Oobleck.

Robyn: I'm here to help you against Salem.
