(At S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, Bucky Barnes is seen with a metallic right arm.)

Nick Fury: To think those bastards did what they did to you.

Bucky: You don't even imagine what I've been through.

Nick Fury: There seems to be no difference between Atlas and H.Y.D.R.A.

Bucky: H.Y.D.R.A…

Nick Fury: To think that bastard Ironwood was helping Red Skull all along.

(Then Maria Hill comes in)

Maria Hill: Sorry for interrupting you, Commander. But it looks like Lex Luthor and Baron Zemo formed an alliance.

Bucky: Zemo?

(Maria Hill clicks the button and a screen appears, showing Batman)

Batman: Unfortunately. And it looks like they broke Edward Brock out of Arkham.

Nick Fury: Venom?

Bucky: I better call the others.

Batman: I already called them. We better hurry up.

Bucky: Right.

(At Lexcorp, Lex Luthor and Venom are seen)

Lex Luthor: Kal-El will come in anytime!

Venom: And once he comes in, his secret identity will be revealed, his life will be ruined, and we will have our revenge. Think about the people that alien will have to leave, like his parents, or Lois Lane. She will feel so lonely she might need our comfort.

Lex Luthor: Now that's a good plan, Venom.

(But instead of Superman, Bucky Barnes comes in with a mask, then he shoots Venom down. Lex Luthor tries to run away, but Bucky shoots his leg.)

Bucky: You should've known better than resorting to dirty tricks.

Zemo: (comes in) Bucky Barnes. It's been a long time.

Bucky: Zemo…

Zemo: Everything worked so well. That's why I let Luthor break Eddie out of Arkham, you know.

Bucky: So you're the mastermind, huh?

Zemo: Indeed I am.

Bucky: What implies the involvement of the Justice League?

Zemo: Just like your friend Captain America, the Justice League has an empire. An empire which I seek to destroy as well.

Batman: (comes in) Over my dead body!

Zemo: Excellent suggestion. Bane.

Bane: (comes in) I'll break the bat!

Batman: Just dream, Bane!

(Batman throws a batarang, only for Lady Shiva to come in and cut it down)

Batman: Shiva…

Shiva: It's Lady Shiva to you, Batman!

(Bucky tries to shoot Bane, but Lady Shiva defects the shots with her sword)

Shiva: Is that your best?

Bucky: Not exactly.

(Then Bucky uses his metallic arm to punch Shiva while Bane charges at Batman. As Zemo is about to walk away, a hadouken hits him, implying that Spider-Man arrived. Shiva tries to attack Bucky, but he uses his metallic arm to defend himself. Spider-Man uses his web rope and pulls Shiva)

Spider-Man: Get over here!

(Spider-Man then does a Shinku Tatsumaki Senpu Kyaku, then a Maximum Spider on Shiva, knocking her out. Bucky shoots Bane's venom tubes, cutting them so Batman could knock him out. Then Spider-Man ties the criminals up.)

(Next day, a newspaper with "Legion of Doom is doomed: Heroes save the day again!" written in it is seen)

(Back to S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, Captain America and the Avengers are seen gathered.)

Captain America: We're all gathered here for an announcement.

Hawkeye: What could be it?

Black Widow: It's about a new member for our group.

Captain America: Exactly.

(Then Bucky Barnes comes in)

Captain America: From now on, Winter Soldier is officially part of the Avengers.

(The Avengers clap their hands)

Winter Soldier: Thanks for such honor, Captain.

(Unbeknownst to the Avengers, a figure is seen in an airship watching them. The figure is none other than the rejuvenated General Ironwood)

Ironwood: Winter Soldier, huh? Enjoy your little victory, Bucky Barnes.
