My eyes opened, slowly opening the black curtains. I sit up, trying to look around. My vision grew blurry at just the slightest turn of my head. My head is pounding, but that doesn't diminish my spirit. I look to my left, and try to see through my messed up sight. It's...

Felix!

I waited until the headache subsided, shaking the swede gently.

"Felix... Felix."

He stirred, then moved to where I could see his face. His eyes barely opened, squinting at me.

"...Mark?"

I nod, looking around. We're in what seems to be a wooden cabin, in a room with ten or so beds. Though, the one to my right seemed to have been used more recently. The covers seeming to have been pulled back, unmade as the others were neatly tucked in.

"Where are we?"

"No idea."

I get out of bed, feeling a bit wobbly. I was going to grab my sword, but it wasn't at it's hilt! I felt my panic rise, but quickly simmer down as I saw it on the table by my bed. I turned to Felix, and saw that he got his wand. Loud noises were coming from somewhere in the building, so I nudged my own head to signal to go over and see what it was. Felix nodded in response, following behind as I exited the room and started towards the hallway. The wooden floor boards creaked as we stepped on certain weak spots as we approached the only room making noise. Felix finds my gaze and we nod to one another. As quietly as possible, we move and peer into the slightly opened door.

"JACK!"

Jack was pinned by the leopard! 

We quickly run in, I raise my sword and Felix charges up a spell, but Jack holds out his hand from under the giant cat.

"DON'T!!"

He screams with wide eyes. We raise eyebrows at him, but our weapons stay drawn.

"Don't attack her! Jesus!"

He shouts, then lightly taps at their shoulder. My eyes widen as the leopard seems to nod, then gets off of Jack like a trained house pet! He stands and leans on the snow beast.

"I'm really surprised you don't recognize her."

"Huh? What's that supposed to mean?"

Jack's eyes roll and he looked down to her, meeting the gaze she was already giving to him. He nods, then takes a few steps away from her. A soft grey glow encased her, and the light figure stood up. When it dissipated...

"JESSE?!"

She flipped her blue hair to the side, those stone eyes still present.

"Took you long enough."

Jesse replied with her usual sass. I was at a lost for words. Jesse was the leopard the entire time?!

"Wait, but why did you attack us?!"

"Wasn't attacking."

Felix but in.

"Tackle?"

"I knew you wouldn't believe it was me. And as for you,"

She pointed to Felix.

"You would have hit Mark with that blast if I hadn't dodged and brought him with me."

Jesse smirked, and sat down in a near by chair. 

"You get six questions."

"Wait why only six?"

"That's question one. Two for each of you."

"Wait that doesn't count!"

"It does. Five more to go."

"Okay, so you are a hybrid?"

"Yes, a snow leopard hybrid to be exact. Four more."

"How is this possible?"

"I don't know. I was born like this. Three more."

"What powers do you have?"

"Well, you all know how I can make you fall asleep so long as you look into my eyes. Other than that it's just the ability to transform. Two more."

"Are you the only hybrid?"

"No."

Jack, Felix, and I made eye contact, then stared at the grey ones in front of us.

"Who is a hybrid that's close to us?"

Jesse's lips formed to a smirk, those eyes that were now glowing dancing with mischief. 

"(Y/N)."
