Chapter 2
Caledonia and Xyliana swiftly ran to the person at the end of the field and quickly attacked. They fought with ease, swiftly moving across the soft grass with weapons moving as they were nothing. They looked like they were dancing in sync, each coping off one another. Their large weapons moved as they were cutting through something soft and they quickly moved when the other girl attacked one or the other. Lucrezia was amazed, in complete a trance as they moved.
Not knowing what to think, Lucrezia watched them and looked back at the girl with black hair, obviously knowing that they were experts at what they did. Caledonia planted her large sword firmly into the soft ground and turned around smiling at Lucrezia, her dark blonde hair waving in the wind. "Wanna join the fun?" She asked, her dark green eyes shining in the sun. Lucrezia nodded desperately and quickly transformed, grabbed her small, normal sized sword and ran up to them. Caledonia smiled again and pulled her gigantic sword out, turning around and helping her older sister. "One thing that I have to warn you about is that Xyliana, she's pretty skilled with that hand dandy spear of hers, so just be careful around her."
"Okay..." Lucrezia replied as Caledonia walked away from her and swung her sword. Lucrezia took deep breath and ran up, starting to attack also. She ducked under Xyliana's spear and made a swift move at the girl. The black haired girl dodged all 3 of them and pulled away, panting a little bit. She caught her breath for a while before fighting back at them. Lucrezia was nearly out of breath and grasped onto her sword again, swinging it at the girl. After a while, Xyliana ended up defeating the girl, helping her up a bit. The other girl ran off afterwards as the 3 transformed back and smiled at her. "That was fun..."Caledonia sighed with a smile, stretching a little bit as she smiled at her older sister and her new friend.
"Aw, you guys did fought her already. I expected you guys to still be fighting her..." A girl with dark blue hair sighed, approaching the group.
"Well Isolde, if you were here earlier than you wouldn't have missed out on all the fun." Caledonia bragged to her.
"Well sorry that I have a life too." Isolde argued back and stuck her tongue out, Caledonia doing the same.
"Lucrezia, this is Isolde. She was supposed to be here earlier today when you met us, but here she is." Xyliana explained.
"So you're Lucrezia Zephyr was talking about." Isolde said softly to herself. "Well, I'm Isolde, Isolde Akefia."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Lucrezia Caecilius."
"Same to you, Lucrezia." Isolde replied with a smile, moving a strand of blue hair off of her shoulder.
"Where are the others?" Caledonia asked.
"Oh so now you're being nice to me." Isolde replied sarcastically. "I don't know, I tried looking for them but I couldn't find them. They'll show up sometime today."
"Ah, not that surprising..." Xyliana softly sighed.
"Who are the others?" Lucrezia asked.
"Uri Sorokin, Yvette Cavalcanti, and Ophelia Fauchelevent." Isolde explained, sighing a bit after saying Ophelia name correctly.
"They're really nice, but they rarely show up to different family issues." Xyliana explained.
"Maybe Zephyr can find them."
"Yea, she's probably looking for them." Isolde responded, putting her long blue hair back into a ponytail. The blue girl sighed and moved her bangs out of her brown eyes. "I'm hungry."
"Woah! Same here, we must be siblings...." Caledonia replied jokingly. Xyliana laughed a little bit and nodded also. The 4 girls all got into a group and started their search for food, or as Caledonia stated. They ended up going to Isolde's, she said that her parents weren't home and that they had a ton of food.
"Make yourselves at home, just don't break anything." Isolde told the 3 as she walked inside and went to the kitchen.
"It looks pretty nice..." Lucrezia stated as she walked in and looked around.
"No, it's not. It's really small and you get annoyed of everything if you live in here for 17 years or your life." She argued back. "You don't get any privacy in here."
"But hey, it's pretty nice. You have to admit that." Caledonia added, sitting down and leaning back.
"That is true...."
The 3 talked for a while before a soft knock was on the door. Isolde opened the door and look back at them, sitting down. "It's just Uri, Yvette, Ophelia, & Zephyr. It's just a false alarm." Isolde announced. 3 girls, one with white, another with purple, and another with pink, walked inside. Zephyr followed them inside and leaned on the door.
"So, it looks like you've met the others..." Zephyr trailed on. "And I hope that Caledonia and Xyliana did all the work for you...."
"Too late..." Caledonia softly said in between coughs. Xyliana laughed a bit and looked at zephyr, obviously being more honest than the other.
"We did most of it and then she helped in the end."
"What about Isolde?"
"She never showed up." Caledonia replied, softly eying the blue headed girl.
"I did show up!"
"At the end." Caledonia stuck her tongue out at her and looked at Zephyr, who sighed in annoyance and and hit her face with her hand.
"Oh dear god..." She softly muttered under her breath and looked at the group of girls. All the next few minutes, Zephyr talked to everyone about the other group. Like who joined, whose weaker, and all of the other stuff and managed to escape out of Isolde's gone before her parents walked in.
That night, Lucrezia looked up at the ceiling as the bright moon shined a blue afterglow into her room. She smiled softly before rolling over and falling asleep peacefully, looking forwards to the next day.
