I hugged her closely and I started to feel the coldness from her body.

Her body is Ice cold!

"Sir-"

"Drive, Karan, We are going to take her to the hospital" I said.

Karan nodded and started the engine, I closed the door and wrapped her closer to me.

It doesn't matter if I get exposed, All I need now is you to be safe, Sanju.

Her body was too cold and I removed the jacket that was around her, Her saree was a mess, But I could not do anything about it, I removed my suit jacket that I was wearing and wrapped it around her.

I rubbed my hands together and placed it on her cheeks.

The heater was on but nothing was working on her.

"Karan...hospital.." I said.

"We cant sir, If we stop anywhere, Narayan sir will know" He said. "Both of you will be in trouble, He might even take her away again" he said.

It will take more time to reach the hospitals under palace group too.

I wrapped my hands around her again.

You will be alright...God!..Let her be alright..

"Shyam sir is here" karan said as he stopped the car.

"K.." my sound shook. "Wait for me at the apartment, Let me know if anything happens"

"I understand sir"

Shyam opened the backdoor.

"Arjun?..what happened, what happened to sanjana..God!" He finally noticed sanju in my hands. "She looks like hell Arjun, what happened to her!?" He asked me in shock.

I took her with me and moved back to shyam's car.

Shyam started to ask questions again, but stopped after a while, probably noticing my face.

"Madam was trapped in the ice factory" Karan explained in one sentence before he started the car and shyam looked shocked.

"But-"

"Later" I said.

So he hurried to the driving seat and started.

"Are you coming back to the Dream land?" He asked me and I nodded.

"What about your works?" He asked again.

"I have no other way now" I said. "But shyam..I..I can't take her to the..hospital..but I don't know if she will hold until we reach ..dream land" I said.

"Natasha's home is on the way-"

"Are you crazy, shyam-"

"Ignore them, All we want now is to save Sanjana, Even though they are not pleasant, They won't betray you, Arjun" he said.

I didn't say anything after that, I was still trying to warm her up, Shyam had already switched the heater on.

Her motionless body was still bothering me too much and I hugged her again, Her slow heartbeat was the only thing that soothed me.

"We are here" Shyam said and I was brought back to the present.

"Do you think they will help me?" I asked doubtfully.

I carried sanjana out of the car and looked at her.

But she was looking at me.

"He was so arrogant when he rejected my daughter, what was it he said...yea! I Don't plan to get committed, I am not looking for a relationship now" she said. "now you come here with another girl-"

"Come in" She moved back from the door and said unpleasantly.

"What happened to her!?" She noticed sanju for the first time.

"Her body temperature is down, she's severely hypothermic" shyam said.

"Can you please change her and help her body to warm up ma'am?" I asked slowly.

"What happened to her!? I can't do anything risky, if something happened to her-"

"Mam please" I said. "just help us-"

"She's not related to me or even you, Arjun" She said. "You are a lawyer, you would know better that if we tried to help and something happened to her here today-"

"Stop it! Nothing is going to happen to her" My voice shook as I answered her.

"She's not related to any one of us, I really am worried about this, If someone asked me why I tried to help someone who I don't even know, What am I supposed to answer? Better take her to hospital before something happens!"

I had had enough, I walked to the settee and placed her there.

Both shyam and Professor Indira seemed to think that I'm going to get violent.

I took a deep breath, Trying to calm myself.

I know that If we cant help her now, She cannot hold on much longer.

"Don't forget that unrelated people are not welcomed at Dreamland. All of us went to great lengths to hide your identity, and bringing her is going to risk everything,"

"We are already engaged and she's-" I started, but she cut across me again.

"I will never agree to risk all these years work just for a girl who appeared all of a sudden."

"She is not just any girl! You heard him, they are engaged. And I don't think anyone will have a problem with Arjun bringing his most trusted people home!"

"We don't have time for this, not now!" I said before Indira started to retort again. "I am ready to face any consequences for th-"

I stopped midway as I caught sight of the "Pooja" tray with a small lamp and the red kumkum powder.

I walked straight to the pooja tray and didn't hesitate as I took a pinch of the red colour powder and marked a still sleeping sanjana on the border of her hair, At the exact position where a husband would touch the sindoor on a wife's head.

I turned back to a stunned shyam and Professor Indira.

"Now, she is no more a stranger," I said. "My wife's critical, She's in need of treatment, Can you help her?" I asked her in a final voice. "Please" I added, Pleading with someone to help me for the first time in my life.

She looked transfixed on the spot for a moment, Maybe she must have realised that I wouldn't back down because she nodded quickly.

"That room.." she pointed and I carried sanjana there and placed her on the bed.

"Sindu.." Indira called and the young girl came inside. "Change her clothes, See if there's Natasha's clothes" She said and the girl nodded.

I looked up at her.

"She's my maid," She said.

It looks like she wants to insult me.

"She's too young" I said slowly. "can she really take care of-"

"She's not that young" Indira said.

So we moved out when the girl came back with a dress.

"Can't you help her?" Shyam asked the professor. "Sanju really needs help"

"Why can't he?" Indira turned to me and snickered. "That's supposed to be his wife after all" She said in an insulting way.

I lowered to the settee in defeat while shyam looked up .

"That's right!" He exclaimed. "Arjun, You can warm her-" he stopped as I shook my head "no"

"Arjun, Why can't you?" He asked and I covered my face in my palm.

She hates me...

She will never ever forgive me..

"Arjun?"

"She..she won't like it.." I said.

"This is not the time to consider it!" Shyam said.

"She's not as innocent as you think, She said that she-"

"Stop it" I said now. "Don't talk about her like this!"

"It's true that she bewitched you!" Indira said. "If it was beauty you wanted, there were plenty of girls in the college, But you never gave them a second glance, This girl was so arrogant because she was with the president of palac-"

"She don't even know his identity" Shyam interrupted. "She was not after his money or power" he said and Indira stopped. "I think now you know the difference" he added.

Suddenly the door swung open and the girl came running out.

"She's not dead, She's just unconscious" Indira said sternly. "go and take care of her" She said.

The girl nodded and turned back, Her face still looked worried.

"Wait" I said and got up. "I..will take care of her" I said as everyone turned to me.

I walked straight inside her room and closed the door behind me.

I turned to the bed, She was still motionless, Her saree was really a mess and the carefully arranged pleats were all in disorder.

My heart ached when I thought of how she came to the party at first

I took the change of cloth sindu had left behind and reached near her.

I sat by her side and started to remove her saree carefully, Trying not to cause too much disturbance to her.

I covered her in the blanket and removed the remaining cloths off her.

She was still cold and I started to rub her palms and the sole of her feet.

The freezing cold was not coming down and it terrified me.

This is not working...

I need to keep her warm..There's no point in thinking about anything else now.

I opened my shirt buttons and removed my shirt.

I watched her helpless face for a moment.

I am sorry sanju, But I have no other way now.

I promise you that I won't take advantage of the situation.

I closed my eyes and lifted up the blanket that was covering her, Then slipped inside it.

Her body was ice cold and I pulled her inside my hands, Then covered both of us in the blanket again.

Sanjana...you should wake up..Don't scare me...

I moved my hands, Rubbing her skin and trying to make her warm, I turned around so that her body was sandwiched between the bed and me.

I waited and slowly, I felt her body temperature raising slightly, Her heartbeat was becoming steady and I was relieved.

I opened my eyes and looked at her sleeping face, I leaned down and kissed her forehead.

I love you sanju..

I won't let you die..

Forgive me for this, I really don't have another way..

My body was starting to respond to the skin contact and I tried not to think about anything else.

I can't think like this...I can't have other thoughts about her now!

I closed my eyes again, But unfortunately, The skin to skin contact was making it difficult for me.

I started to rub her palm and slowly slowly her temperate started rise.

Her head was still on my shoulder and I leaned down and kissed on top of her head.

When her breathing became normal and her pulse was steady again, I dressed her in borrowed pajamas, wrapped her in the blanket and walked to the door.

"Arjun" Shyam came to me.

"She's okay" I said. "We should go" I said.

The young girl brought me sanju's dress.

"I will put it in your car," She said. "The saree looks nice, Madam will want it," She said.

"Thank you" I nodded at the girl, Then looked behind her to the professor.

"I know I am going against our rules, I will call a board meeting to explain everything and will take full responsibility,"

"Oh please, like anyone is going to have an issue with Arjun bringing his wife home. This whole confidential thing was set up just for his safety, remember?" Shyam jabbed and her face darkened.

"Professor, she is my only family right now, so I will do everything to protect her." I said, hoping that she gets my message well. "And thank you for helping me out today. I'll make sure you are compensated and rewarded appropriately."

Karthik.

Shahid, Aditya, Shweta and I was driving to Arjun's house when the phone beeped.

I took out my phone.

"It's Trisha! She just sent me a text" I passed my phone to shahid in the passenger seat.

"Karthik, I am Alright, Tomorrow's plan is a trap, Inform your Dad"

Shahid read aloud.

"What does it mean?" He asked.

"Is she talking about the dinner plan with your father and DIB?" Aditya asked from behind.

"We don't have any other plans..Call her back" I told shahid.

"Already tried, Her phone is switched off" He said and looked at me. "Do you think it was someone else who send this message?" He asked.

"What benefit will someone else get from cancelling the plan?" Aditya asked. "Besides, No one knows about the plan"

"She said talk to your dad..No one from surya group knows that I am Suresh's son" I said.

"May be they made her talk-" Shweta stopped as the three of us protested simultaneously.

"No" we said.

"You don't know trisha well, She will never ever expose our identity even if she's in the verge of death" Shahid said.

"Even though she was being attacked, All she wanted to do was warn us, She didn't even tell us anything about her, She just warned us, can you believe that?" Aditya said.

"Trisha will never compromise our safety, I am actually worried about that" I said. "I hope she won't hold it so strongly, I don't want her to get tortured" I said.

My mind filled with the images of her in the electric chair.

"Then..Let's assume that she's safe now" Shweta said. "So should we go to Arjun's apartment like this? I am scared of him"

"We are going to send you back from the nearest town, You don't have to accompany us there" I said.

I watched as houses were passing by, finally shyam entered inside the huge gate.

"Arjun, shyam-" Anjali ran to us as soon as we stopped the car. "what happened-" she stopped while watching sanju in my hands.

Her eyes stopped on sanju's forehead were the sindoor was still looking bold and her eyes widened slightly, then recovered quickly.

"What happened to her, Arjun?" She asked me.

"She's okay now" I said. "just sleeping"

"Take her inside, I have already opened the house" She said quickly.

"My room?"

"It's open, Do you need anything else Arjun?"

"I am sorry to trouble you two, I wouldn't have done it if I had any other-"

"Nonsense Arjun! Ofcourse we will help you" shyam said.

I nodded.

"Thank you, it's still very early, Go and get some rest" I said.

"No, we will stay here to look after-"

"No, I can take care of her" I told Anjali "And I will call you if I need any help" I said firmly and they nodded slowly.

So I lifted her in bridal style and entered inside my house. "Um..Anjali, please send her one of your dresses in the morning" I added and she nodded again.

"That's All.." I said and closed the door as they walked away.

I felt too tired suddenly and I walked with her to my bedroom.

The time was 3:47 am and we successfully opened Arjun's automatic door and entered inside.

"Shahid, you are really fast in this" Karthik said as we stepped inside.

"Let's get that bastard now" Aditya said in anger and both of us nodded.

So he pressed the calling bell, And Almost immediately an elderly man opened the door slightly, He looked startled to see us-His face changed as if he had been expecting someone else.

"Arjun?" I asked him.

"You are?" He asked back.

"We are his acquaintances, We need to see him" Karthik said.

"He's not here, No one is home" The old man started to close the door and Aditya put his foot below, Making it impossible for him to close the door.

"How can you just close the door like this, Uncle, You at least have to invite us inside" He said in a pleasant voice, That sounded creepy even to my own ears. "What a rude way to treat your guests!"

He turned to karthik. "Did you hear that? Arjun is not here, Karthik" He said.

And karthik reached inside.

"That's a shame" He played along. "We will just confirm that he's not inside then" He too looked at the old man in a friendly way.

"What do you mean!" The old man looked worried now. "Get out of here or I will call the police!" He warned, Trying to close the door, But Aditya was no match for him.

"We are really scared" Karthik said "Don't call the police" he added in a snickering voice.

I just moved forward and raised up my gun.

"Look, We don't want to hurt you if you don't block us, open the door" I demanded them.

The old man looked shocked and moved back.

Aditya opened the door and the three of us entered inside.

"Who's there uncle?.." The young guy coming down the stairs stilled as he saw the three of us.

"Nobody's here!?" Aditya looked at the old man and he looked down.

"You must be karan" Karthik said and I too remembered the name.

Shweta has told us about him on the way here, He's Arjun's only trusted man in the company.

"How did you get insid.." karan stopped as his eyes stopped on me.

It looks like he has done his homework well, Shweta is correct about him.

"Do you know us, karan?" Aditya asked him.

"What do you want?" He asked back.

"We need your boss, Where's Arjun?" I asked.

"I will search the house"Karthik said as he started to climb up the stairs.

He and Aditya searched the whole house while I stayed there, Pointing the gun at Karan.

"He's not here" karan said.

Karthik came down and pushed karan down the stairs with each step he took.

"That bastard is not here" Karthik said.

"Where is he?" I pointed the gun at his head now. "where's Arjun?"

"I don't know, May be in his office-"

He stopped as Aditya pushed him against the wall. "Don't you lie to us, you rascal, Don't try to be oversmart with us" he shouted.

"Did he bring Trishana here?" Karthik asked. "Did he bring Sanjana here?" karthik rephrased his question and took a threatening step towards him.

He didn't answer and karthik's fist collided with his middle, Making him bend over.

"Tell me where she is, Tell us where Sanjana is!" He shouted.

Karan didn't move.

"Sanjana!.." the old man said in shock and all of us turned to him.

He was looking at us, shocked. "You are her friends?" He asked.

"Uncle Ravi!" karan warned in a stern voice but Aditya pushed him to the wall while I raised my gun at his head.

"We had had enough of your killings, If your boss and his bloody surya group thinks that you can keep on hurting us, You are going to be sorry, If anything happen to her, we will kill-"

"She's not here, She escaped" The old man said.

"Uncle!" Karan shouted now.

"You Don't have to get beaten up for this" Uncle looked at him, then turned to us.

"Arjun brought her here, but she escaped"

"She escaped!? What do you mean?"

"She took the car and left here, Arjun followed her..She got trapped with some police officer who took her to custody" Uncle stopped. "Arjun Was trying to follow her, but he didn't reach back" he stopped.

I felt uneasy suddenly.

Some officer took her?

Aditya, karthik and I looked at each other.

His story did fit with what we have got so far.

He's telling the truth, it seems.

Karan.

I sighed in relief.

Uncle told them only half of it, He didn't tell them that she's already out of danger and that she's with Arjun sir now.

"Where's Trisha now?"

"We don't know" uncle said.

"Then let us know if any news came from Arjun" Shahid said and Uncle nodded in relief.

"Then we will take him with us" Karthik took my collar and pushed me to Aditya's hand, Who took hold of me.

I didn't try to resist, I know that I have no chance against An STO officer and Two other Angry armed guys.

Uncle looked worried again as they took me with them.

Aditya turned to uncle.

"Tell Arjin that we have been patient all these time, Tell him that if something happen to trisha, we will take the same strategy back, We will start killing and hurting everyone around you" He said.

"And between the people who have nothing to lose and A corporation like surya group, Who would you think will have more casuality? Ask him to calculate well" Shahid said.

"Tell him that we will return him in the same condition Trisha will be in, If something happened to her, You won't see karan anymore" Karthik added.

And they dragged me out of there.
