Sorry guys...Was tooooooo busy the past week! So here's next chapter:)

Arjun.

She pointed the gun straight at me.

I took my own gun out of my jacket and she looked startled to see it.

I placed it above the car roof and turned to her.

"If you want to kill me even before you hear me out...ok..shoot me" I stood in front of her without defense.

Her hands were shaking too much and her eyes started to fill and flow down.

"You..you cheated me...you...used..me to know about...my friends-"

"If I wanted to kill your friends before, I would have done it long before" I said "And I didn't cheat you" I added.

She was still crying while she stood there, She didn't move her gun down, But she didn't shoot me either.

"Why?..You can't kill me?" I looked in her eyes.

She lowered her gun slowly.

"Sanju, Come back with me- No! It's a public road!" I shouted as she started to run.

I started to follow her.

Trishana.

It was difficult for me to run in high heels and saree, But I wanted to survive and I had no other way.

Soon I realized that I had no other way to escape from Arjun and Somebody touched my hand from behind.

I jumped and turned around.

"What are you you doing here?" The night patrolling police officer asked me. "it's dangerous for a girl like you to be out here so late" He said.

I nearly cried in relief.

I am saved!

I had never been this happy to find a police officer before.

"Help me...someone is trying to hurt me, Help me please" I begged him.

"Don't worry, Come with me" He said to me and started to walk to the direction I told him.

He talked to the walkie talkie and asked for back up and walked with me.

But Arjun was nowhere to be seen.

"Do you know the person who was trying to hurt you?" He asked me.

"Arju...no" I said. "I don't know"

Naming Arjun suryanarayan will only scare the officer away and no one will dare to take action against him.

"Take me to the accident site then" Officer said and I walked back.

I was still tired, But I made myself move forward, But when I reached there, both the cars were missing.

What's happening!

"It..it was here..." I said slowly, the officer gave me a suspicious look "I am..telling you the truth sir..I..look, here are the Tyre marks!" I showed him and he inspected it.

"It looks like you are right" he nodded. "but you better go back home now, we will discuss this in the morning, you can file a FIR if you have any complaint in the morning" he said.

I nodded in relief.

"I have already called for help" he told me. "Give them your address, they will drop you home" He said and I nodded again.

So I waited near the officer for them to come, It was so late and I knew that I have no other way to get back.

My feet were killing me and I still had the headache.

I tightened the jacket to me, But I was still shivering too much.

Arjun-

No...not now, I shouldn't think about him..

I searched the oversized jacket and took out my glasses.

As soon as I wore it, I felt a little better.

I am the fearless, Reckless reporter, I am Trishana!

"Miss, They are here" The officer said and I nodded, I could hear the siren too.

I waited until the jeep reached near me and stepped out of the shadows.

"What's the emergency at this time?" The officer inside the jeep asked rudely.

"This girl was attacked by someone, It's so late now, It's not safe for her to travel alone"

"Where do you want to go?" He asked me.

I can't go back to the estate house, Nor can I go back to my house.

"Truth magazine office building please" I said and Gave him the new address.

I will just call Nitin and ask him to pick me up.

"Did you just say Truth magazine?"

I froze at the tone and turned to the officer in the passenger seat, Who is staring at me now.

I can't believe my fate is this bad!

I watched the officer in front of me;

SI Thomas Mathew.

Narayan's most trusted officer!

He looked as surprised to see me too.

"Reporter Trishana!" He exclaimed. "What a pleasant surprise!"

I took a step back automatically.

"Sir, She was chased by someone and Badly hurt" The patrolling officer said.

"I will drop her home" SI thomas stepped down from the passenger seat.

"No" I shook my head. "I..I can find my way" I said now.

"Get inside the jeep!" He said.

"No..I will find my way back" I shook my head firmly now.

"Go with him, It's not safe for you to-" The night patrolling officer who helped me stopped his sentence seeing the terror in my eyes.

He slowly turned to the SI.

"Sir-" he started.

"I will take care of her, you can go back now" Thomas ordered and the officer looked troubled now.

I turned to him.

"Help me" I begged him. "I can't leave with him, He will kill me, Help-"

"Get her inside!" Thomas ordered and the other two officers dragged me inside the jeep.

"Please...help me...please.." I started to beg the other officer but he looked down.

Soon the jeep started and we moved forward.

"I have to thank you for this, Trishana, You were the one who made me do the night patrolling as a punishment by your reporting, See how lucky I am!" He said gleefully.

Arjun.

"If I was a little more careful...If...if I stopped her in time.." I covered my face in my palms.

"Boss, Is there any news?" Karan asked me.

I shook my head.

I was back in the apartment.

"What happened?" Uncle Ravi looked anxious.

"SI-Thomas Mathew..she just went straight to him" I said. "I..I could only watch them taking her..I couldn't do anything"

My whole world is shaking now.

"Do you love her?" Uncle asked me and I nodded my head.

She's the only one I have now..I love her..

"Then why did you come back without her?" He asked me.

"Sir already sent someone to follow them" Karan answered for me, But my mind was in turmoil.

"I couldn't protect her" I said. "I couldn't protect the only person I want to protect the most" I said. "If I appeared there, Father will know about it and everything will be worse for her"

"Then what are we-" karan stopped as my phone vibrated.

I opened the message.

"The police station" Karan too read the message. "They really took her to the police station!?" He asked.

No..There's no way...Something is wrong!

I need to do something quick or Sanjana will be in danger.

"I need her back" I said, then got up and looked at them, determined. "I am going to get her back" I said again.

"But what are we going to do, Do you have any plan, sir?"

"I will just go to the headquarters and ask for her" I said. "Thomas will be taking her directly to the head quarters, I will just go there and ask her back" I said.

"But they said she's in the police stati-"

"No way" I said. "I know Thomas Mathew, He will not keep her where a lot of people can see her, He will definitely try to take credit for trapping her, He will take her to the headquarters" I stated.

I know how greedy that bastard is.

"I will just meet father and ask him to return her back to me, Nothing will happen to her without his knowledge"

"You know it's not possible, Sir, Narayan sir will be angry too"

"I don't care, I need her back" I said again.

Her cries were echoing around me, I had to fist my hands tightly and control myself to avoid getting involved there, She was crying and begging the other officer to help her and I could only stand there, listening to it.

Because I know, the moment I step out of the cover, She will be in much worse situation.

I straightened up abruptly. "I am going to the headquarters now, I haven't asked for anything until now, I never demanded money or power, But today, I will get her back" I said as I started to walk out.

"Wait" Karan reached me. "Sir,I have been working with you for as long as you were in surya group" He said. "This is not the way you normally deal with things-"

"I don't have time or patience, karan, Sanju is in danger!" I said, the thought was unbearable to me.

"I understand sir, But you didn't stop them taking her, why?"

"Because if I interfered then, She will be losing the only chance anybody could help her, father will punish me and kill her too"

"Exactly, it's going to be 2 in the morning, If you appear there at this time, you will be really suspicious, let me deal with this sir, No one cares about a low level employee like me" He said.

"What can you do?"

"I can find out where she is" he said.  "so that you can plan how to help her escape" he stopped.

"That sounds logical, Arjun" Uncle said. "Don't risk all these years efforts without thinking, Let's move like karan said" Uncle said.

"I don't care about anything, I don't care about surya group or palace group, I don't care about the fight, All I want is her back" I said.

"I understand sir" karan nodded. "We will get her back at all costs" He promised me.

"I will wait for the news then" I said and he nodded.

After he left, The waiting was too much for me.

The moments with her started to flash through me.

Sanjana, when I get you back, I will never ever compromise your safety again, Even if I have to lock you up or chain you down, I will never let you slip away from me like this...I don't care anything else...I want you to be alive and safe.

I Am willing to do anything for that..Even if it means that you will hate me forever..

Aditi.

It was 1:35 in the morning.

Everyone was tensed and out of our mind with worry after that phone call.

Everyone including uncle Prakash and Shweta was present in uncle's house.

Shweta came to Prakash uncle's house after our call.

"I..I had never heard her voice that..broken..She's very tensed" Varsha said.

"We must do something" Shahid said. "quick" He added.

The connection to her phone was lost before we could trace her and all we could get was the location of the tower from which she used the phone last time.

"I told you to be very careful of Arjun!" Shweta said.

"He's really heartless! He Is the evil lawyer who destroyed a lot of companies and families, If Trishana is with him, She is really in danger" She insisted.

"I am confused" Aditya said. "When I was on the phone, I heard Arjun asking her if she was alright, I even heard him telling her that she can shoot him if she don't want to hear him out and.." He dragged off.

"Aditya, What's it?" Karthik asked.

"I think she escaped from him, I heard him shouting, telling her it's a public road and to stop..." he looked around. "Do you think she escaped from him?" He asked.

"Instead of telling us where she is, She was..warning..us, She said he know us.." Varsha was still crying.

Aditya nodded. "Yes..She said he know about us, I also heard Arjun say something like..He could have killed us long before if he wanted to.." He stopped.

"I think you all should get out of this place first" Uncle said and Shweta nodded.

"No, We need to get Trisha back first" Karthik said firmly

"If Aditya heard right, I feel Arjun was concerned about her, He said he could have killed us if he wanted to, but he didn't, which means.." Shahid looked at all of us.

"Which means he don't care about us?" I asked him. "you mean..Arjun is really interested in Trisha?" I asked.

"Look, Arjun won't give a damn about anyone, I know him well!" Shweta said.

"But it has happened before too" Karthik said thoughtfully. "If he wanted to hurt her, He had had chances before" He said.

"Are you saying that he's really interested in her?" Shweta said unbelievably.

"Yea, When Trisha got drunk once, He didn't even let her drive" Shahid said.

"That's right" Varsha said. "I remember that" she wiped her eyes. "besides, She's beautiful and bright, Anyone can like her" She said.

"Look, I know you all want to believe that she's alright" Shweta said. "but if it's me, I won't place my bet on Arjun, He's a real hypocrite, He's more dangerous than Abiram and Mahesh...May be more dangerous than my father" Shweta said.

"Let's go and confront Arjun surya narayan" Karthik spoke up.

"You can't even touch a strand of his hair" Shweta said. "If he has Trisha, He would have planned really well, We can't even get a glimpse of her" she said. "we will only manage to get in trouble, Don't forget, He's the most cunning and evil lawyer with lots of dirty tricks"

"Karthik, Let's inform your dad!" Varsha said suddenly. "Its the only way we have now" She said.

"But it will be too late by the time he starts investigation" Aditya said and karthik nodded.

"The only way we have is meeting Arjun now"

"His apartment is highly protected, nobody can walk in and out freely" Shweta said. "And there are are CCTV all around" She added.

"Don't worry about any technical safety systems when I am here" Shahid said. "I can get us inside" he said confidently. "but what are we going to do next?" he asked.

"Let's decide it once we get inside" Aditya said.

"Yea..let's do it" karthik nodded.

Arjun.

"Sir, You were right, SI-Thomas came here straight" Karan told me. "he's currently in the conference hall, Everyone is told to wait outside while they talk" He said.

Karan was already in my office in the company.

"Karan, connect the receiver to me" I said. "We have already bugged the meeting room" I said.

So karan connected the receiver to me.

I heard voices and listened.

"-Already running away from someone and came straight to me" I heard SI -Thomas's proud voice.

"What about her friends? They were not with her?" I heard father's voice.

"No, She was alone" Thomas replied.

"It was a really stupid thing to do today, Thomas" Father said. "We were going to take care of her tomorrow neatly, Everything was ready, But now things are going to change because of your impatience" father said.

And I listened well, trying to get any details on her.

"But if I hadn't gotten hold of her, Someone was already going to kill her, She was clearly chased by them" he said. "Apparently we are not the only people she has offended"

"But if something happens to her just before the meeting they had arranged, The case is going to turn to us" Father said. "Where is she now?" Father asked and I tightened the grip on my phone.

"She's safe with me now, She's unconscious, not dead yet" He said and my heart jumped.

Not dead yet!

Bloody bastard...I am going to kill him..

"Just tell me what I should do with her" he asked again.

"Since She was already attacked by you, We cant let her free...But at the same time, Her missing case should not be pointed to us" Father said thoughtfully. "I got it" Father added suddenly. "our ice factory..Abandon her at the ice factory, she must never get up from her sleep, Dump her there" I heard his voice and was stunned.

Ice factory!

"I don't understand.." Thomas said. "why should we dump her there? It's going to get us in trouble when her body is found" he said.

"No" father said" She had reported against our ice factory before, She even published an article in her magazine" He laughed slightly. "let it be the reason of her death, Make it look like she was trying to investigate us secretly, But got trapped inside instead causing her to freeze to death" Father said.

"Excellent!" Thomas said in awe. "That's perfect! Anyone who knows Trishana knows that she's obsessed with investigating the truth" He said. "Nothing will be strange if her body was found there" He added.

"What about Suresh kumar sir?" Thomas asked. "we were going to kill them all together at the dinner tomorrow" He said.

"Proceed with the plan" Father said. "Even if Trishana is not visiting him, Just get rid of him, Make it look like a suicide-"

But I grabbed the earpiece off.

My heart was beating painfully.

Ice factory!

They are going to get rid of her there..

She will freeze to death!

His words echoed around me.

"She must never open her eyes after this..."

Sanju's motionless, Frozen body flashed across me and I pushed it back to my mind.

I got up, determined.

I am going to save her even if it's the last thing I do..

I grabbed the keys and ran outside.

"Arjun-"

"Uncle" I said on my way. "I am going to bring her back, Call karan and tell him to wait for my order" I said and he nodded.

"Be safe" He added. "And bring her back too"

I started the engine and literally flew out of there.

Why Arjun?..Why did you hide it from her?

If you were truthful from the beginning, You wouldn't have created this mess...

But I really didn't want her to get involved in the fight between two corporations..

I had her best interest in my mind, But it looks like it backfired badly..

I blew horn as the lorries came in front of me.

I need to get there fast or it will be too late!

I pressed the accelerator again and the car sped again.

I thought it was just my curiosity, When She came to the club house to meet me in another identity, I was just amused...I just wanted to see how far she will go..

Even though I was attracted to her, Falling in love with her was the last thing on my mind..

I knew that I could never have a normal life, my life was solely for revenge, I had left every single thing  when I decided to be Arjun surya narayan.

I turned to left and nearly had an accident with the semi sleeper Bus coming from the opposite side.

The driver hit the break and blew the horn angrily, I swerved out of the way and hit the break too..

Sanjana, You..You made me fall in love with you, I never thought loving someone can change so many things in one's life.

If something happen to you, I think I will be as good as dead too..

I can't continue like this anymore, For the first time in my life after the unfortunate incident, I am starting to feel emotions.

I thought I can only feel hatred, I thought I only need to get back at them, But after meeting you, The things I thought I was immune to was all opened by you.

She surprised me with so many emotions, Shocked when she even went as far as to cut her wrist to escape from Mahesh, Admiration when she trapped Mahesh in jail so cleverly, Worried sick for her safety when she often angered surya group, Happiness...when she was with me, Loneliness When I missed her..

And Love...The feeling I didn't understand at first, Then denied and finally accepted..

Sanjana..just..hold on..I will come for you, I will save you..This is my promise..

I started the car and dialed shyam at the same time.

It started to ring..

"Um..Ar..jun, What's up this time-"

"Shyam, I need your help, It's urgent" I started as I sped again.

So one hour later, I finally reached the Ice factory, Karan had already called me to explain that Thomas has already ordered his men to leave Trisha inside the factory about 45 minutes ago.

I looked at the time, It was 2:55, If my calculations are right, She's been inside it for more than half an hour now.

It was easy for me to get inside, the only problem was that I was unfamiliar with the place, I ran to the main building and started my search.

Nobody was around and the air was getting thicker and foggy as I went inside and the cold started to creep in.

It's been only 5 minutes since I was here and If it's like this, Sanju is in serious trouble.

I was still searching frantically for her, But the worry inside me started to increase, My confidence level dropped.

How the heck am I going to find her!?

It will be too late by the time I finish searching the whole factory.

I stilled.

No...this is not going to work..

Think..Arjun...Think carefully..

SI Thomas Mathew wants to kill her..He would want her to be dead as soon as possible, Where will he leave her?

I turned to the map on the wall automatically.

I started to search for the coldest place in the building.

After a minute, I saw the labelled name "Freezing chamber" On the far right side and I started to run.

The air started to get thick and the cold was getting unbearable now.

I stopped in front of the production place.

I didn't know where to start, Then I saw the room "storage" and pushed the door open.

Thick cold fog was all I could see inside, I fanned myself and walked inside, I switched on my mobile light and stilled when I caught sight of the camera bag first.

They even left a camera with her to make it look like she was investigating the ice factory!

"Sanju!" I shouted as I ran towards her, My heart was going frantic when I turned her to me.

"God!"

I whispered as I saw her white pale face, her lips were already violet.

She looked frozen.

"Sanju.." I lifted her up from the floor and wrapped her to me.

Her body was too cold, Scaring me and I lifted her up and hurried out of there.

I took my phone out.

"Karan-"

"I'm waiting here, sir, Did you get her-"

"Yea, I can see you" I said and ran to the car "what about shyam?"

"Shyam sir is on his way, He will meet us halfway"

"Then start the car" I ordered. "we need to save her"

"What about your car-"

"I have arranged someone else to take it away" I said, I was already outside and walked straight to  the car.

Karan was already holding the door open for me and I placed her in the back seat.

"Sanju.." I shook her. "Sanju..open your eyes..sanju.." My voice shook and I stopped, My eyes started to burn, Another thing that was foreign to me.

"Sir" karan said worriedly "She looks-" He stopped as I raised her up from the seat and hugged her tightly.

Sanju...I am so sorry...I am sorry...I couldn't protect you, I'm sorry...
