Arjun.

As soon as my housekeeper opened the door, I carried a still sleeping Sanju inside my house.

He looked at us in shock.

"Arjun...who...isn't she the girl..you were..working on?" He looked shocked as I started to take the stairs.

Karan too came inside, still looking confused and shocked.

"Karan, Uncle, Wait here, I will come now" I told them and hurried upstairs.

I opened my bedroom door and brought her to the neatly arranged bed.

I laid her down.

Sanju moved to her side in her sleep and I watched her.

She looked so innocent and vulnerable that I wanted to protect her so much.

She hates you Arjun...She was deceiving you all these time.

I tried not to think about it.

I just hope she will give me time to explain everything...I hope she will hear me out patiently..

I corrected her saree and removed her high heels.

"Forgive me, Sanju, I had no other way to save you..I really can't let you walk into that trap tomorrow.." I whispered and kissed her on her forehead. "Wait for me, I will tell you everything when I am back" I whispered again.

I covered her with my blanket and I switched on the dim light before walking out of there.

When I came down, uncle Ravi was sitting on a chair while Karan was pacing up and down.

I looked at my watch.

I still have an emergency meeting to attend.

"Boss" karan turned to me when he saw me. "What-"

"Both of you listen to me well" I said and they looked at me. "I need to go now, But Sanjana is still upstairs, protect her well" I said. "If anyone else come here, Don't open the gate for them, And if it's very urgent, karan, you know my emergency number" I said again.

Both of them nodded.

"What if she wake up?" Karan asked "She will-"

"Don't worry, She will sleep for at least one and half to two hours and I will be back by the time" I assured him. "I have already locked her door, So You should not open it under any circumstances" I said and they nodded again.

"What..what are you going to do to her, Arjun, Don't hurt her" Uncle told me suddenly.

It was his first time telling me something like this, He usually ignore all my dealings. "I know you, I know why you are doing everything, But that girl-"

"Don't worry uncle, She's someone very important to me, I just want to keep her safe" I said and uncle nodded slowly.

So I started to walk out.

"Sir, I don't understand-" Karan followed me.

"Karan, You said it doesn't matter who I am, You said you will follow me-"

"Yes, I will follow you to the end, You are my boss" He said.

"Then uncle will tell you about me" I said slowly. "I can't force you to stay with me, You can decide after you hear from him" I said.

It's time for him to make a decision too.

"We shouldn't expose yourself, Arjun, I am against it-"

"Uncle, There is only a very few people who trusts me, Let them know" I said and he nodded.

"I trust karan, He won't betray me, You can trust him too" I told him while karan was looking at me in shock.

Uncle slowly nodded while I take my car and drive out of there.

All of us gathered in  Dr.Prakash's house in town.

"There's no news" Aditi said. "Trisha is missing, Aditya and karthik is coming back now" She said.

Soon, Both of them were back.

"I checked it, the building have an emergency exit for medical emergencies"

"Why? Does he know that we were keeping watch of her?" Aditya asked.

"Her phone is off too" Varsha said. "I am worried" She said.

"I will call my dad and tell him about her" Karthik said.

"What if it's a false alarm?" Aditi asked. "What if there's nothing to worry and Trisha is unable to contact us?" She looked around. "It happened the last time she was taken to beach" She added. "She got drunk and Arjun took care of her" she said.

"But we can't risk anything here" I said.

"I know, Instead of calling karthik's dad and making it big, Let's call Shweta and see" Aditi said. "See where Arjun is, If she can't help, Let's call karthik 's dad" She added.

"That's okay, let's do that" I said.

"I will wait for one more hour, If Trisha is not back by then, We will attack first" Karthik said.

"Attack first? What do you mean?" Aditya asked.

"Shweta will know Arjun's Details, Get everything on him, If he took Trisha with him, He should bring her back too" Karthik said angrily.

"That's right, We always defended them" I said. "Let's try to get back at them now" I said and Aditya nodded.

Karan.

"President..president of the palace group!?" I whispered, still in denial.

Uncle Ravi sighed and sit beside me.

"I Am sorry to startle you like this, I know that you are pretty loyal to him" Uncle said.

"But he's...he's the youngest son of Narayan sir-"

"That's not true" Uncle Ravi said. "Look, I know it doesn't make any sense, But let Arjun explain to you about this"

"On the other hand, It does make perfect sense" I said slowly.

"Karan, Don't feel like you owe me something, I have my own plans"

"Karan, You don't have to follow me if you feel pressured, I won't blame you"

"Karan, I have my own plans to do it this way"

"If the situation get worse, I need you to abandon me, That's the only way you will survive"

"How did he manage to trick Narayan sir?" I asked, robotic.

"It's a long story" Uncle sighed. "But who's that girl?"He asked me curiosity "He never had any feelings after his family was murdered, This is the first time I am watching him caring about something" He said.

"His family-?"

"They were murdered by Surya narayan" Uncle said. "You must have heard about the notorious car accident of the ex-chairman of palace group and his family"

My mind started to reel.

I think I need time to process all these.

"Then..When..When Arjun sir told me that his "father" got Surya group after killing  his boss, He meant the the ex-chairman of the palace group? He was actually talking about his real parents!?" I asked.

"I..I am sorry karan, You might be feeling betrayed and angry, But it was for your safety that-"

"Betrayed and Angry!?" I shook my head. "The moment Arjun sir stepped inside the company, He saved my life from Abiram, He released me from death and took me in and I am indebted to him for that" I said. "I always knew that he was different from others, That's why I was happy to work with him, If he thought that I was better off not knowing his identity, I trust him, You don't have to be worried" I said.

Uncle Ravi nodded, looking relieved.

"How are you related to Arjun sir?" I asked him. "You know him well!"

"I worked for his parents before" Uncle Ravi said. "I watched him grow up"

I nodded.

That's why Arjun sir always treated him as family.

"I thought that the president of palace group was an stubborn old man who's living abroad, But now I can guess how that news got circulated, It would be Arjun sir's idea" I said.

Uncle nodded.

"But then how is he contacting the palace group? He is working 24/7 in Surya group"

"The club house" Uncle said.

The club house.

That's why he had been so adamant about getting his weekends off, That's why He was angry to work on weekends...

It was not actually for him to drink away his weekends, It was for him to contact with his directors and meet with them without letting anyone suspect anything!

I tried to open my eyes.

I feel so tired and my eyelids felt so heavy.

I realized and tried to sit up, My body protested and my head felt heavy, But I pushed myself to come to my senses.

I looked around and I touched something on the bed.

I took the remote and pressed the button, The bright light didn't leave anything for doubt, I was indeed in Arjun's bedroom.

The last thing I remember was getting tired and sleepy at the party.

I went to the party with Arjun, But how did I end up here!?..

I removed the tilt and stepped down from the bed.

I knocked the door.

I started to panic then, I knew that something is really really wrong and My head was still hurting, Everything was confusing me.

I ran to the door that was leading to his walk-in-wardrobe and pushed it open.

I had seen another door inside it last time, Hopefully it's an exit out of here!

I reached the door and pushed it, But nothing happened.

"Trisha, It's easy to open the normal doors, See all you need is your hairpin"

I remembered Aditi's voice.

I removed it from my hair and started to work.

I realized in shock and my heart went frantic.

A shiver went down me as I thought about all the things happened between us.

Arjun is really cunning like Shweta warned me! I was too blind to see through him!

My whole body trembled like It had a powerful physical blow.

I supported the table for a moment as my head felt like bursting.

I started to search and soon took a file from the desk.

I read again and started to move through the pages with trembling hands and was shocked to find how much information he had on me.

If I thought that there is nothing worse than this, I was wrong, Because On the next page was the details on my gang, It was shahid first, Then came varsha.

But what surprised me the most was the details on Aditya and Aditi.

"Murdered" I read in shock.

I dropped the file and took a step back.

Arjun knows everything!

He knows each and every one of us!

He already got me trapped here, He will be going after my friends now..

No! I can't let my friends pay for my stupidity, I can't let him drag everyone to danger because of me!

I need to get out, I need to warn them!

I ran to the main door of the office room, But it was locked too.

The alarm in the project room is activated!

"Arjun, Open the door" She sounded angry and mad, There was knocks again. "Arjun, I know everything, Open the door now!" She shouted again.

Uncle looked at me worriedly.

"Talk to her uncle, We need to play for time, If she recognize my voice, It will be more trouble, I had spied on her before" I said.

Both of us reached in front of her door.

"Moloo" Uncle started in a kind voice. "Arjun is not here"

"Open the door, now!" She demanded.

"I don't know the password" He said again. "But don't worry, He won't hurt you-"

"Open the damn door, now" She said, Not even trying to hear him out. "let me out, now!" She said again.

"I really don't know-"

"If he trusted you enough to look after me, You will definitely know the password" She said.

So uncle shut his mouth.

"Look, I don't know why you are doing this, but kidnapping people is a serious crime, If you let me out, I won't drag you into this"

"Arjun is not here"

"Are you going to open this or what?" She asked in a threatening voice. "Or do you want me to kill myself inside here?" She asked.

My heart jumped.

I remembered her cutting her wrist the other day, she had done it without even flinching!

Uncle noticed my expression.

"Don't do anything rash, just-" he stopped.

I too was startled as I heard the sound of glass breaking reached us.

It looks like I can't keep my silence anymore.

"No! Don't do it" I walked to the door and said. "wait 5 minutes, just-"

"I have a very sharp glass piece in my hand, If you don't open this in three seconds, I will kill myself here, You can tell Arjun that I will never forgive him for what he had done" She shouted. "It's okay if he wants me dead, But I really can't let my friends get hurt because of me!" She said.

"Boss is not going to hurt you-"

"Open this door now, I can't wait anymore, Three...two...On-"

"Wait" I said quickly. "I..I will open the door" I said.

"Now!" She shouted and I moved forward.

There's no way I will take any risks with her life, I hope I can keep her talking until-

"Open the door!" She shouted again and I started to pin the password.

The door clicked open and Trishana Stepped out, Her eyes stopped on me and widened a little.

"You..." she whispered. "karan..you were Arjun's spy.." she looked at me with so much hatred that I felt that I would burn.

"It's not what you think it is, Ma'am, Boss really wants to protect-"

"Out of my way!" She demanded.

"Please calm down moloo-"

"Now" She shouted now, She raised the sharp glass piece to her wrist and Both me and uncle took a step back, I could see that her hand was already bleeding from holding it tightly.

"Hear me out, Ma'am, Arjun sir-"

"Move back" She said again and we had no choice but move back for her.

She looked down the stairs and sidestepped us.

"Don't follow me!" She ordered before running down the stairs.

As soon as she reached the hall downstairs, She spotted her bag and reached it.

"Ma'am, You are misunderstanding-"

"I need a car key" She ordered again.

"Look, Let me explain what really happened-"

"Karan, I don't have time now" She said.

"Only Arjun can open the gate" Uncle said. She put the glass piece down and take out something from the bag.

Both Uncle and me stilled halfway down the stairs as she raised up the gun, Straight at us.

She had a gun in her bag!?

"My friends are in danger, If you think I won't use my gun, Go on, Try to move" She said deadly.

"Arjun sir is really trying to help you" I said slowly.

She gave a humorless laugh.

"He even planted you in my office long before I approached him, Do you think I'm stupid enough to believe you?" she asked, Then turned to uncle.

"Karan will stay there" she ordered me. "And you will take me the car keys" She said to uncle.

So uncle slowly went down the stairs and took the key from the key holder.

She took out her phone.

"Ma'am-" I stopped when the flower pot at the foot of the stairs exploded to hundreds of pieces.

I am really shocked that she used her gun.

"Karan, you cheated me, But I know it was Arjun's brain behind it, I don't want to hurt you..But don't make me, Because I will do anything to get out of here..so CLEAR AWAY!" She said and moved out.

She didn't forget to lock us inside before running to the car.

"Uncle! Quick! Take the spare key, She can't drive in that state! Boss will kill me!" I said as uncle ran inside.

Trishana.

There were two cars in the place and I pressed the remote.

The red Maserati came to life and I opened the door and got inside.

I was trembling from head to foot, A million questions running through my mind.

I was still in the saree and I pulled out my leather jacket and the hairband from my bag.

Within seconds, I pulled the jacket over me and fixed my hair back to my faux bob, Feeling comfortable and more confident in my Reporter skin.

Yea..I am Trishana hariprasad, If Arjun thought he can use me, he will have a surprise.

I started the engine.

I was still trying my maximum to hold the head ache in.

Before I get out, I need to warn my friends..

I took the phone and at the same time, Reversed the car.

I was about to take the car out when another car came inside and Arjun opened the door and hurried out.

"Sanjana!" He exclaimed. "You can't dri-"

"Call me Trishana, That's my name!" I shouted, Now furious that he had the nerve to call me that name while all along, he had been deceiving me.

I was also mad that seeing him was hurting me too.

Arjun closed his car door and moved in front of my car.

"Sanju, hear me out, You can't go, You are in danger-"

He stopped when he heard the engine roaring.

What did he think? That I will fall for his tricks again?

I changed the gear and pressed the accelerator.

The car moved forward and Arjun moved out of the way.

"Wait! Sanju-" He shouted, but I was already out of the gate.

Arjun.

"Damn!"

I cursed as I saw her speeding out of the gate.

I ran to my car.

"Sir?" Karan was coming out.

"Try to follow her in the other car, we need to stop her!" I shouted before speeding out and following her in the maximum speed.

If Anything happens to her, It's my fault!

She is still supposed to be drugged, She can't over speed like this, She will get into an accident!

I pressed the accelerator again and caught sight of her

Trishana.

The road was not very familiar for me, I just drive straight, The street lights were starting to make my eyes hurt and my headache started to get worse.

I felt that my insides have gone numb now.

I was only acting with Arjun, But I don't know why it's hurting me this much..

He even made me swayed, I thought he's different from the rest of them!

I still can't believe the fact that Arjun was actually trying to kill me...He was trying to lure my friends to the trap through me, I know it!

He even went as far as confessing his love and he wanted to get married to me!

All these days, He really made a big fool out of me..

He's really cunning..I was the one who was being played all these time...

The headache started to get severe and it didn't help the fact that I am driving at this speed for the first time.

My friends..

I don't think I can make it back...I need to warn them at least..

I reached out and took my phone again from the passenger seat, It was still off, I pressed the button and the phone came to life and instantly it started to ring.

It was Arjun.

I cut the call in my fury, But it started to ring again.

"WHAT??"  I shouted as soon as I attended.

"Sanju-"

"Call me Trishana..you know me!" I shouted again.

"Hear me out..please..I am begging you" His voice was really pleading. "please sanju, I'm really trying to help you, I-"

"I don't need your help!" I turned the car to the right.

"Sanju, Slow down..now!" He said seriously.

"ARE YOU STILL FOLLOWING ME!?" I exploded again.

"SANJANA!" he too shouted now. "I told you to slow down!...do it"

"Go away, I'm not Sanjana-"

"Hear me out, Sanju, Tomorrow's meeting is a trap!" He shouted. "You are going to be trapped, They will kill you if you attend it" He said.

I was shocked again.

"Sanju please stop the car, please..you..you were drugged, you really can't drive like this-"

"Never you mind, Arjun suryanarayan, Just remember one thing, I will not betray my friends even if you kill me!" I shouted. "I will never tell you where they are-"

"They all are in Dr.prakash's house near the city hospital...I know, I don't care about it...just stop the car, sanju..please..stop the car!" he said.

"SANJU!?" he shouted as the car momentarily swayed out of my control.

I opened my eyes forcefully at his voice and steadied the steering again.

I threw the phone to the side, but it was somehow made into loudspeaker.

I was still trying to concentrate on the driving when he started again.

"Sanju..please stop, Don't make me do this..it's town ahead, stop the car.."

I couldn't understand what he meant until his car appeared in the side, In level with my car.

"Sanjana" he looked at me. "pull the car over, Stop it" He said in a final voice.

I was still not in my right mind, But Arjun looked determined all of a sudden.

Before I know it, I heard the sound of metal hitting metal as his car touched the side of my car and the the loud screeching was all I could hear while Arjun forced my car out of the road and into the side.

Both of our cars jerked and the dust particles surrounded us, For a moment, I thought that I was going to collide with the divider and braced myself for the impact, But Arjun's car came in between, Taking the impact. Then we screeched to the stop in the side.

My head hit the steering wheel and my mind went blank.

I was once again brought back with the ringing from my phone. It was my friend's tone and I jerked up.

I know I am going to die now, But I need to warn them anyway.

This is the one last thing I can do for them.

I started to search, The phone was under the seat and I managed to take it out and attend the call.

"Hello Trisha!?"

It was varsha on the other side.

"Varsha.." My voice came out all tired and broken.

"God! I GOT HER! It's Trisha on phone" Varsha shouted.

"Var..sha...go..back...They know where you..are...get..out of there...quick-"

I stopped in shock when I saw Arjun Opening the door and stepping out.

He started walking to my side.

"Trisha! Where are you now? Tell us where you are" Aditya's urgent voice came.

"I dunno..just..just get out..He know where..you are.." I said. Arjun was already near my car, He opened the door and I clutched the gun tightly.

The phone fell down from my grip.

"Are you alright, Sanju..?" Arjun unbuckled my seat belt and supported my shaking body out of the car.

He looked me up and down, I know I looked a mess, My saree was a mess, My hair was already undone from the arrangement and I was bleeding.

"Sanju, I-" He stilled as I raised the gun at him.

He looked me in the eyes and I looked straight back.

"I...I will..shoot you" I said.

My hands were trembling and my eyes were filling and flowing down, but I know that I can't compromise my friend's safety.

I know that I need to shoot him if I want to save my friends.
