Hey guys! Instead of two chapters, I am updating a really long chapter today :)

Arjun.

"Sir, I heard that you announced to everyone that you have a girlfriend?"  Karan asked me as soon as I reached the office.

"How did you know it?" I asked him as I walked to my cabin.

"It's the hot topic of the day!" He exclaimed. "Everyone is talking about it!" He took his phone out and scrolled down.

"See here!" He showed me the picture in the group that was obviously taken from the club house.

It was a side view and sanjana was half shielded by my body.

"It's a good thing" I shrugged. "Now I don't have to deal with  unwanted company" I said.

Now I can attend social gatherings without being looked at as a potential groom.

Karan laughed.

"I guess" he said. "Now everyone will be clear that you like girls" He said with another laugh. "But everyone is curious to know about her"

"I am not going to expose her" I said and opened my laptop.

"Then why didn't you keep it a secret, Sir, Everyone is aware now that you have a girlfriend" He said.

"There's no such thing as 'secret', Karan" I said. "Do you really think I can keep sanjana hidden for long? I am not sure how many spies are watching me, I thought it's more safe to announce it publicly than allowing them to make it a big deal and investigate about my girlfriend in secret"

Karan nodded.

"That's why you asked them to switch on the dim lights? You wanted to show her to the public, At the same time, You didn't want her face to be exposed" He added. "Whoa! You really thought it through" He said. "But that means...You are planning to keep her near for a long time!?"

He looked at me sideways, Looking curious.

"Do you really like her sir?" Karan asked me.

"Have you finished the works I gave you yesterday?" I asked back.

He nodded. "yes, I fixed everything" he said. "But sir.." karan started.

"What will happen if you are forced to select? You came here for rev-"

"Karan, Careful about the words you talk here" I said sternly.

But it looked like karan's words were actually true when I entered the conference room.

SI Thomas mathew was present.

A very bad omen.

"I have a very dangerous news to announce" He said. "I just got news that officer suresh is secretly arranging a meeting with the DIB and that reporter Trishana" he announced and everyone in the room started to talk at once.

"From the moment that girl appeared, I had been telling you to get rid of her" Abiram instantly got angry.

"If we get rid of her, we can take care of her gang easily too"

"She's just like her father, May be more dangerous and reckless, She escaped from us so many time"

"If we take care of both of them now, Then I don't have to care about Priyanka now" Abiram added. "Her room is very secured and there is always two police officers on the door" he said. "sanjay and team had been watching her day and night, It looks like priyanka is back in coma, The nurse said that she's drifting in and out of consciousness" He added.

"That's right, Half of our problems will be solved if officer suresh kumar and Reporter Trishana is out of picture" Father said.

"That's right" SI Thomas said. "I am really powerless in front of that bastard suresh, If he is  out of picture, The police force will be fully in our hands" He said.

"There's still officers who are supporting palace group" pramod reminded him.

"But they are not interfering like Officer suresh kumar and Reporter Trishana" He said.

Each and everyone in the meeting room had the same opinion.

"What do you say, Arjun, She was your case" Raghav sir asked me.

Everyone including father and Abiram was looking at me.

I looked around all the curious faces and fisted my hands under the table while I shrugged.

"Of course, It's past time we take care of her" I said. "She's been creating trouble all these time" I added.

Everyone nodded approvingly and went back to discussion while I slowly released the breath I didn't know I was holding.

Sanjana...what the hell am I supposed to do with you? Why do you have to put yourself in danger like this!?..

Her smiling face flashed through my mind.

"Arjun?"

I snapped out while Father called me.

"Yes?" I asked.

"So what do you think of the plan?" He asked. "If we take care of Both of them at the same day at the meeting they are organising, We don't have to worry about anything then"

Both of them?

Sanju and Officer suresh kumar?

"That's a good idea, No one except that officer will dare to stand up against us, If we take care of both of them on the same day they have the secret meeting, Nobody will dare to look at us ever again" Raghav sir said. "Without suresh kumar, We can get rid of the FIR she lodged agaist us too"

"Great! Since they were working together before, No one will suspect anything even if something goes wrong"

"Even if anyone suspect us, No one will speak up after what happened to them"

Everyone said their views and turned to me.

"That's Good" I nodded. "When are they supposed to meet?"

"Next monday evening, The location is not fixed yet"

"We have enough time to prepare everything" I nodded again.

Today's Wednesday, That means I have about four days time.

"Leave it to me, I will personally take care of her-" Abiram started.

"No" Father said sternly. "I will take care of this matter personally" He said.

Everyone was surprised at that.

He had long ago stopped getting involved in the dealings, But it seems that he don't want to take any chance with them.

It also means that Sanjana and that officer have no way out.

When the meeting was finally over, I walked out of there.

Sanju is in danger and she has no idea about it..

This is also a test father has set for me. He knows that I'm against killing people, So if I protested against it, He will never allow me anywhere near the company management.

Now that Mahesh is out and Abiram is hot headed, Father has no choice but See me as a potential heir to succeed him.

"Karan" I said while walking to my office. "Help me push back my appointments today" I told him.

"What are you talking about!?" He asked me. "It's an important investor this time" He said. "We can't make him wait-"

"Show him around our hotel and Give him the most special treatment" I said.  "Tell him to experience our special privileges before throwing the money in" I added.

Karan sighed.

"I got it, What about you?" he asked me.

"I need to see sanjana" I said. "I couldn't get her finger print from the lipstick I took from her place last time, So I need to get her fingerprint to open her locker"

"What are you talking about sir!" Karan exclaimed. "What are you planning on doing sir?" He asked me worriedly.

I thought about it, Yes, This is the only way now.

"Sanju and officer suresh is planning to meet the DIB and planning to hand over the details on surya group"

"What!?" Karan looked shocked.

"Father already know about it, he 's planning to kill them both on the same day before they meet Director of Intelligence beuro"

"If your father is involved directly, We can't do anything!" karan said. "Think about it sir, your father is too sharp, If you do anything-"

"That's why I need to stop her!" I exclaimed. "I need to stop this whole meeting, If sanjana stop it, Then we don't have to proceed with our plan to kill her"

"Do you really think we can stop her sir?" Karan asked me. "You know her, You have been following her, She's determined to bring down surya group"

"I know, But we can stop it temporarily if she doesn't show up for that meeting, I have a plan"

"What's it?"

"Since her office is already burned down, The only place she will be storing all her datas will be that secret room in her house" I said. "I am going to destroy it"

"You can't do that! She will know that somebody was there"

"I don't care, Saving her life is more important"

"You are starting to make me worried! I am sorry to say this, But you know that she doesn't like you sir, She's deceiving you to get revenge, I am worried that you are too much involved in this"

"I know" I said shortly. "But dont worry, I know what I'm doing" I said sternly.

"I just don't want you to go against your father, He's starting to treat you better, You were working all these years for this, I don't want all of your efforts to go to waste because of this fake relationship" He said.

I closed my eyes and leaned to the chair.

"I know" I said. "But karan, If I don't meet her now, I will never meet her again in this life time" I looked at him. "Father is personally going to see that she's dead" I said.

Karan looked at me and nodded slowly.

"You were supposed to meet on Thursday for dinner, What if she's not available today to meet you?"

"She will come" I said. "She's the one who's taking advantage of me, She's the one who wants to get closer to me" I said. "I will just invite her for lunch today"

"Okay.." Karan nodded. "I will arrange the schedule for you, But your schedule is already packed and this is the only day you will be free this week"

"Alright" I nodded. "Take good care of our investor"

Trishana.

"We can meet at my place" Officer suresh said. "My wife and I live alone and It won't be suspicious if I invite the DIB for a meal, He's my senior's chief while he was working in Mumbai"

"Alright, I will come there then" I said through the phone.

"I don't know how he will react to this, But Trisha, Get Everything You have on Surya group with you" he said and I nodded.

"Alright"

My other phone started to vibrate again, It's been ringing nonstop now.

"I will see you then Sir" I told the officer. "I need to take another call"

I disconnected and took the other phone.

What does he want now?

"Hello?" I answered.

"Sanjana, Meet me for lunch" I heard Arjun.

Seriously!

"I am not in town now, It will take about -"

"Where are you, I will drive there"

"What's it? We agreed that we will meet tomorrow evening" I said.

"I am busy this whole week, This is the only time I have, Tomorrow evening is packed too, Meet me now sanju" He said.

He's sounding different..Almost...desperate?

"If you are still doubtful, I can talk to your dad, I am sure that I can convince him about our relationship" he said. "Give me his number-"

"No..no" I said quickly. "He's still outside, I will tell him myself later, Where should we meet?" I asked.

Now that I think about it, I can make use of the important files shweta mentioned last time for this meeting.

So I need to get hold of Arjun's files.

For that, I need to see his apartment.

"Do you know the new restaurant near-"

"Can I pick up the place?" I asked him.

"Sure, Where do you want to meet?"

"The downtown burger place, I am suddenly craving for their spicy chicken burger" I said.

There was silence at the other end.

I know that it's too close to his place.

"Arjun?" I asked. "you said I can pick up the place" I said.

"I want to treat you for a real meal" He said.

"Let's have it another time, You called me all of a sudden, I can meet you only if I can have the burger"

Arjun sighed.

"Alright" he said. "burger it is then"

Arjun.

I was wondering the whole way there why she picked up that place.

I am sure that shweta had given her all the details on me and she would know that my apartment is only 10 minutes away from that place.

I don't have anything against that restaurant, But I don't want to run to anyone while I'm there with sanjana.

"Here!" Sanju waved at me as I walked inside "I was starving, So I already ordered, I hope you don't mind" She told me.

I smiled. "As long as you are happy" I said and looked around the regular restaurant.

No one in particular.

Where's her friends? Is she working on her own?

Even though I was glad that she has let her guard down in front of me, I  was suddenly angry that she dared to proceed with their plan when she was alone.

She thinks that she's not in any immediate danger..

She's willing to risk it all as long as she gets their plan on motion.

"Why did you suddenly want to see me?" She asked as she was munching on her burger.

"I just wanted to see you" I shrugged. "Is it a problem that I like to see my girlfriend?" I asked her and was delighted to see the slight pink color on her cheeks.

Trisha.

I don't know why I feel so touched about his words all the time. May be it's the fact that I secretly enjoy that I am the only person he's been interested in-According to shweta anyway.

I know my gang will be angry if I told them that I met Arjun while coming here alone, Everyone was still at the estate house.

I had to get everything ready for my meeting with suresh sir, That's why I came here.

But I don't think it's a problem though, I know that Arjun is not going to hurt me!

It's actually funny that I trust him..

Anyway, It's time for me to put my plan to motion, I will knock down this ketchup on myself and ruin my dress, Then I will-

"Arjun!?" I heard the high pitched female voice and saw Arjun grimacing slightly.

I turned around to see Natasha with her friends coming straight to us.

Why do I always spot her around Arjun?

"Natasha" Arjun nodded while the girls were squealing around us.

"He was the one you were talking about!?"

"He's indeed handsome!"

I don't know if it was supposed to be a whisper, Because I heard it all the way here.

"Um..I'm here with my girlfriend today" Arjun said.

Warmth spread through me.

He's quite loyal, I like that about him.

"Oh..hi" Natasha "finally" noticed me.

I smiled back sweetly.

She looked at her friend pointedly.

"Why not we join them?" Her friend said dutifully. "It's fun to have more people" she said.

It's not!

We call it "tactless!"

"Arjun, do you mind?" Natasha asked.

Even I could see that he does mind, But her overly giggling friends were already sitting beside us on the semi circular settee seat.

I should have selected a couple's table!

"You were too busy in the company" Natasha said, Then looked at me accusingly. "Don't You have to work over time for taking your time off like this?" She asked, Rather concerned.

"Arjun is in a higher position" I said sweetly. "Just because he's working very hard doesn't mean people can make him work over time" I added. "So don't worry about it"

I looked around the girls and then turned to him and stopped when I saw the amused smile on him.

"That's right" he supported me instantly. "Besides, It was me who called her out today, I wanted to have lunch with her" He said.

"Yea..Just the two of us" I added sweetly again.

The four girls shuffled uneasily at my rudeness while Arjun hide his smile and took a sip of his water.

Soon Everyone's food reached.

"Mamma said she wants to meet you" Natasha told Arjun.

"I have been busy" He said. "Tell her that I will visit her when I get time" he said.

"Do you know?" Natasha's friend turned to me. "Her mother wanted both of them to be together" She said. "Isn't it cute?"

"And my mother wanted me to be with a famous singer" I said. "All mothers are rather good with their wishful thinking" I said.

Arjun chuckled, quickly turning it to a cough.

"Sanjana and I will leave first-" he started.

"I know him for a long time now" Natasha said quickly, Looking at me challengingly. "I know all about his life more than you, My family is close to him and If we compare, You won't even reach half of me!"

"Excuse me! But are you seriously talking about my boyfriend in front of me!?" I retorted.

I really want to drown her in this sauce.

"We are already together" Arjun spoke up, Not trying to be rude, But still taking my side. "I love her" He added affectionately.

"Yea, right..now you know-" I stilled.

Wait! What did he just say!

I gave him a look while he smiled pleasantly.

"Enjoy your food, I will pick up the tab today"  He said and walked away. "Come on sanju, You have already finished" He added on his way.

I am sure that he's trying to rescue me from them.

I watched until he disappeared from sight.

What the heck am I feeling now? Why does it bother me that Natasha is interested in him!

Trishana! focus!

You can't have mixed feelings for him..It doesn't matter how gentlemanly he is, He is the evil lawyer in the surya group who has destroyed a lot of people's life.

That's right, I need to get it straight and never get confused again!

"I will leave then" I announced. I took my phone and-

Something sticky flow down my hand.

"Oops!" Natasha's best friend said "sorry, I didn't see that..I am so sorry.."

"It's ok dear" I told her sweetly and took the bottle from the table. "Because I can totally understand" I squeezed the bottle all over her. "I am so sorry too" I said.

"Hey! What do you think you are doing!" Natasha said angrily.

So I turned to her.

Tomato sauce is too good for her.

I grabbed the chilli sauce and poured it over her head.

"I had been resisting the urge to do this for a long time now" I said.

Now that Arjun is not here, I don't have to care about my unlady like behaviour.

I can always play the victim when he comes back.

Arjun.

I pushed through the crowd of people to get near our table.

I never thought I will witness something like this in this lifetime.

Natasha and her two friends were holding sanju in place while her friend was pouring the brown thick  liquid over her head.

"A touch of chocolate from my chocolate shake" She said and I grabbed her hand, Stopping her from pouring the rest of it.

"What do you think you are doing!?" I asked her, Now angry.

"Arjun, She started it, See, She dumped the sauce over us" Natasha said as soon as she spotted me.

I ignored her and walked to sanjana.

"Are you okay?" I asked her and she nodded slowly, Still looking down.

I took out my identity card and flashed it across the crowd.

"I am her lawyer, If any of those photos circulate around, I will sue you, I can get all of your details from here, I am not joking" I said as people  groaned and put down their phones and backed away.

"Arjun-"

"This is it, Natasha, I hope you won't bother me and my girlfriend anymore" I said while I grabbed sanju by the elbow and walked to the restroom.

"This is a ladies room" She mumbled as I knocked twice on the main door.

"Is there anyone inside?" I asked and no answer came back.

I pulled the "Cleaning" caution board in front of the door and dragged sanju by her hand and opened the first cubicle.

"Arjun! I can do this"

"You can't even open your eyes and you are a mess" I said as I closed the toilet lid and pushed her to sit on top of it. "Let me help you"

I took the jet pipe and started to spray water on her.

"Your dress.." She mumbled.

"Don't mind it" I said shortly as I patted her hair.

"Um..I am sorry" She said slowly.

"Then why did you do that?" I asked and she looked up slightly, Her hair was wet and the water was dripping all around her.

"What?" She asked me.

I smiled.

"Surely you don't think that I don't know my girlfriend that much?" I said.

She stared at me. "What's that supposed to mean?" She asked me. "You think I started it?"

I chuckled.

"I am quite proud of you that you alone managed to make the four of them look like that" I laughed.

Trisha.

I stared at him, Unable to know if I should be glad or sad that he found out.

So what if I can't play the victim here,  It's fine as long as he is on my side.

I decided to be positive about it.

"Who's Natasha?" I pouted.

"No one important" He said easily.

"If you knew that I fought with them, Why did you look so serious back then? Even I was worried" I said.

"Then do you think that I will let them humiliate my girlfriend infront of everyone?" he asked me. "Even though my girl is tough, I still want to be her knight in shining armour" he said and we both laughed.

"Besides You gave a  perfect reason for me to avoid her" He added. "It was getting bothersome" He said.

My mood elevated instantly.

Arjun is not interested in Natasha!

"Wait here, Let me get a towel for you" He said and walked back.

Whoa! Arjun is really my type!

It would have been good if he was not from that family.

He makes my heart flutter and cares for me a lot..

So what if I got drowned in the food fight, I achieved my goal, Thanks to Natasha, I can proceed with my plan now.

I need to go to his apartment and there's no golden chance like today.

So when he returned with a clean white towel, I started to plan my next step.

"Did they get angry at you?" I asked.

"They said sorry that they couldn't protect my girlfriend" He chuckled. "They also threw Natasha and her friends out" He added.

"Serves them right" I said happily. "What if they sue us!?" I asked him.

"I have already settled it" He said .

No wonder they were so understanding..

"Mmm...I can do that" I tried to snatch away the towel from him while he was wiping me dry.

"Stay still" He said. "This is the second time I am doing this for you, first the beach, and now" he said. "How are you going to surprise me next?"

"Forget the beach incident, I was under the influence of alcohol" I said.

Arjun just wrapped the towel around my shoulder and Smiled.

"You are teasing me!" I stated and he chuckled.

"Okay Sanju, I will forget the whole thing" He was still making fun of me. "But your cloths are stained, We need to get you some clean cloths" He said.

I nodded.

Here's my chance!

Arjun.

Sanjana was still in her wet cloths when we drive back.

"We can buy something on our way" I told her.

"I need to freshen up, I can't go out looking like this!" sanju said beside me and I looked at her sideways for a moment before turning to the road.

"Do you want to stop by any hotels?" I asked her.

"No! I can't do that, I hate unfamiliar places" she said.

"Okay, There's one of my acquaintance nearby, she's -"

"It's too embarrassing" Sanju said instantly. "Besides, I don't want to bother anyone" she added.

So I stopped my suggestions.

What's in her mind?

I feel that she won't be satisfied with any of my suggestions.

Is she leading me?

"Do you know any good places nearby?" I asked her.

I want to know where she wants to go.

"I dunno.." she said thoughtfully. "I wish my home was nearby" she pouted. "it's a good 1 hr drive though"

Home?...my home!?

"My apartment is only 10 minutes from here, Will you be comfortable there?" I asked her slowly.

"Really?" she looked at me, looking excited. "Is it nearby?" she asked.

So it's my house..

"Are you okay with coming to my apartment? I have to warn you, it's a pure male domain" I told her.

"No problem, I am okay as long as you give me something to change as I dry this dress" she said.

I looked at her.

She will do anything to get her way...even visit her enemy's apartment.

That's not good..

She's not concerned about her safety?

So 10 minutes later, I pulled the car into my parking area.

"Please come in" I smiled as I extended my hands to her.

"Do you stay here alone?" she asked me as she walked to the door.

"Yes" I said. "you can move in if you want" I smiled.

"No thanks!" She smiled back and I followed her inside.

"Upstairs, first room is the guest room, you can freshen up while I fix you something to drink" I said.

Her eyes lit up.

"Thank you so much!" she said, happy that she is left alone.

"Go on then" I nodded and she started to run up the stairs.

Go on...search everywhere and get what you want..

Trishana.

The guest room was spacious and welcoming, But I had no time to marvel the interiors.

I walked straight to the bathroom and got out of my wet cloths. I finished showering in record time and wrapped myself in the bathrobe and wrapped my hair in the towel.

I need to find the files.

I tiptoed out of the room.

Arjun is still downstairs..

I skipped the first room and opened the next one, it looked like a small library and I started from a side.

There was nothing out of order there, everything was in order and neatly placed.

And soon, I got the hang of the arrangement.

There's nothing in here.

Arjun's bedroom?

I walked out and started to search for it.

Few minutes later, I tiptoed inside his room and started to search.

There has to be something here...something...Anything!

I stopped in front of another door and opened it.

Another room? I slowly moved the door and the lights came on automatically.

Whoa! A walk in wardrobe!

I looked around in wonder at the rows of suits and dress shirts arranged neatly.

He even had a wooden shelf full of shoes and a glass cabin with luxurious watches.

That's right! Arjun surya narayan is one of the successors to surya corporation!

I walked forward and stilled in front of another door.

Another door inside the wardrobe?

"Sanju?"

I jumped as I heard his voice and turned to the door to see him standing there.

"I..I..." I searched for words while I felt that I had been caught red handed.

"You should have waited there to get a change of clothes" he said easily and walked inside. "But now that you are here, You can select whatever you need..here, This is the casual wear section" he guided me to a side and said.

So I waited, But he didn't move back.

"Um..I need to open this" I said and I felt him moving closer.

"Do you..really?" he asked me and I felt the heat from his body seeping through my robe.

I suddenly realised that I was not very smart for coming out in only a robe.

"Wh..what..Arjun-" I stopped as I turned around slowly, Arjun was too close and the intensity of his gaze just unnerved me.

The undeniable attraction between us sparkled and he moved closer to me.

"I'm a guy, Sanju" he said slowly. "Do you know what went through my mind when you said that you want to come to my place?" he asked while I stayed frozen in my spot.
