"Don't tell them uncle" I told uncle prakash "I am ok now, there's no need to scare them"

"But Mahesh has gone too far, How could he kidnap you and..."Uncle was still furious "Call officer suresh now and-"

"I have no evidence to prove that I had been kidnapped,Uncle"I said "You know how they works"

"Then take care of yourself well" He said and I nodded.

"I would have been dead today if it was not for karthik who convinced me to go and see his dad" I said "the first copy of truth magazine is ready to be published, I was too busy on that"

"All the best with it, trisha, It will surely succeed" uncle said.

"Thank you uncle" I said slowly "I can't stay here today, I need to leave"

"I Am ok doctor, I really need to go home and rest comfortably, I need to relieve the stress, I can't do it here" I said.

Whenever Aditya started to tell us about him, Aditi always stopped it.

"They were friends, Almost same height, same age and best friends" he said.

"It happened during one of our dinner, I was late from hospital and forgot to take my phone, So Aditya's dad sent him to see if I was home" he said. "we lived in the same neighbourhood"

I was stunned at the story now.

"By the time I reached back, Everyone was...dead, Lying in the pool of blood" he said slowly "The only person who had a weak pulse was Aditi and we rushed her to the hospital"

"And you declared her dead after the surgery" I said and he nodded "Or I knew that surya group will come after her" I said "I even lied to aditya, I knew that he will not allow me to take him away if he knew that Aditi was still under treatment"

"Aditya thought Aditi was dead too?"

"I had no choice then" uncle said.

"He would have gone through a tough time! No wonder aditi won't allow him to talk about it!" I said "And I was too busy to go and visit them too, May be I am the only one who doesn't know about them"I said "I feel bad for Them"

"He fell into depression, he was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder and for five months, he was under treatment too, He..he was better when he sawAditi, Aditi brought him back from his depression" doctor said.

I nodded.

I can't even imagine what he must've gone through.

"He's all better now,Thank God" I said.

And doctor hesitated.

"What's it?" I asked him.

"I am not sure about this" uncle said "He showed signs of his illness when he was treating Varsha last time"

"What?"

"I don't know what made it, I'm not sure if it's PTSD, But he showed the symptoms of the disease and I am worried about him" he said.

"What will happen if it appear again-"

"He will have to give up his career" uncle said. "He cannot perform anymore surgeries" uncle looked worried "I hope it will not come to that" he added, then looked at me.

"Even though he feels guilty towards me and blames himself for Aditya's death, I have come to look at him as my son" uncle said "please take care of Aditi and him"

I smiled at him.

"Don't worry uncle" I said, now getting up.

"Do you really want to go home today, Aren't you worried after what happened today?" He asked me one last time.

"They let me out after kidnapping me, So they already know about the complaint I filed" I assured him "I need to take some files from my house before going to meet the gang at karthik's place" I told him.

Her house was surprisingly cold.

Yes,that's right,It was cold and dark..it felt like nobody is living there.

That's right,She's staying in the company's apartment most of the time and rarely comes here!

I started to search the house in my mobile torch light.

I took small steps towards it and took the photo in my hand.

I stared at the picture of the beautiful young girl hugging her dad.

The girl was gorgeous, Her bright smile still in place, the happy glow on her face unmistakable.

I realised in shock and wonder, She look like a whole different person there.

I have never seen any of her pictures like this! And  all the pictures in the files where her nerdy ones, Right from her college days.

Why is she wearing that thick rimmed glasses and baggy cloths then?

Why is she trying to hide herself like now?

I took out my phone and took a picture of the framed photograph before placing it back.

I opened the her old picture and moved the picture back and forth, switching between the photos.

The arc of the eyebrows and the shape of the face is also same.

The big difference is her hair that is carelessly made into a bun in the first picture, Whereas in this one, She has her hair down and the glasses gone.

Well...trishana sure is lucky to go unnoticed by Mahesh or he would-

I stopped as I heard sounds from the door.

I froze.

Surely not! It cannot be her,She's Supposed to stay at the hospital tonight!

I slipped out of the office room and hid behind the curtain in the hall.

She's hospitalised, Then who is it at this hour of time?

"No! I'm okay now" I heard her voice and froze.

She came here directly!

"I told uncle not to tell you anything...yea, I didn't want to scare you" she said.

I realised that she's talking in the phone as she came inside.

And I realised one more thing, She's going to put on the lights.

I need to hide!

I moved in the darkness and slowly entered the next room.

I nearly had a heart attack when she followed me right back.

Shit! Why didn't I think of it! it's her bedroom!

Trishana locked the door and I  moved to the only place I could hide-Her wardrobe.

I moved to the back and dark corner of it as light flooded the room.

"I don't want you to come here, surya group will be searching for you everywhere" she said.

I listened.

"I am ok, Don't worry about me, Varsha" She removed her glasses and placed the phone on speaker mode as she started to remove her jacket.

"It's not a simple thing like you said, trisha"

I heard the concerned voice from the phone

"We are in this together, you don't need to take all the risks alone"

"I have been alone for a long time, I Am used to it" Trishana said, now starting to unbutton her shirt.

And I swear, I didn't intend to, But I couldn't seem to take my eyes off her.

I mean...she was practically in front of me, Undressing herself and I couldn't move as I was worried about alerting her. And even as I tried to look away, my eyes started to come back to her on their own accord, I could see her changing back to her real self.

What the hell Arjun, You are not a pervert! And it's not the first time you are watching a beautiful lady!

Uh...but it is indeed my first time seeing someone transform completely into a different person on spot!

The phone conversation blurred as I watched her hair falling around her as she removed the bun.

Her hands moved to the hem of her singlet next and I didn't know if I should stop looking or not.

"We are coming to get you"Another voice said and Trishana froze in between pulling her singlet.

And I crashed back to reality.

"Shahid, You can't act recklessly, take care of-" trishana started.

"They are already on their way, Get ready to come here" I heard another voice.

"But I will just endanger you too.." trishana said softly, walking to her phone in her jeans and singlet.

"Trisha, It was you, who wanted to work together" I heard another voice "we all are suffering because of them, You don't have to bear it alone"

"I..I would like to meet you all too, but I'm worried about surya group, Their only link to finding you guys is me" She said.

I had to admit it,She's not stupid.

I listened more carefully now.

"Don't worry about it, we have a plan" the guy consoled her.

"Ok shahid, I will see you guys then!"
And with that she disconnected the call.

And slumped to the bed.

"Dad..." her whisper was loud in the silent room"Thank you for sending me the right people who can fight along with me" she said "I will get back at them" she stopped and I was startled to hear a sniff.

"I was scared" she said again and I moved slightly to look at her.

She was lying in the bed and looking at the picture of her dad on the wall "I was so scared when he kidnapped me...I thought..I thought I was going to die there" tears started to roll down and I felt something strange inside me.

I know that I have done all sorts of evil things to get my things done and I have used others countless time too, Even though I stayed away from committing crime like Abiram or Mahesh, I have been wrong too.

Whatever your reason may, Arjun, You have no right to play with other people's life..

I knew it too, That I am not exactly right, But I have often ignored it.

So feeling something at the girl's tears was odd to me.

Yea, That's right,when I was appointed as the MD of surya group, I knew that I will have to do a lot of evil things and still chose to do it.

Like turning hari prasad's murder case to an accident case..

Like turning the victim into the preparator as in maya case..

Like acquiring numerous companies by destroying them first..

Like...giving inside informations on people for our benefits..

I don't want to list anymore, Even though I have my reasons for doing it, for the first time after reading her life story, I wondered if there was a mistake in my choice.

And now I know, That I have no way back, I Am already too deep in this to give up..

but I am rather amazed at this girl here.

She was excelling everything, She even had a spot for herself in the TV station of her father's company since her teenage days.

She became the number one reporter with her ability and not because of her father's connection.

She along with her father, reported the truth without worrying about the consequences, which ended her father's life.

And instead of backing down or getting worried, She's more determined to pay back surya group.

It would have been better if she was against someone else But with surya group, I know that she can't win.

And sadly, it's my duty to  stop her and her gang from creating more troubles for us.

She's making my works difficult for me, She and her gang appeared suddenly and everything that I had been planning and doing was two times difficult now.

I only had to deal with Abiram and Mahesh before, But with her adding to the list, I will have a hell lot of trouble to deal with.

So I need to find this gang of hers before they screw up anything else.

I was shocked to find her walking towards me- to the wardrobe to be precise and I held my breath.

It was started by my father and I continued the habit.

If there's someone who could help me, Any officer or any news channel, I feel like I can trap surya group.

But I'm still afraid of their influence. If they can manipulate the files of national forensic institution like in maya's case, They can surely win anything..

And all my hard work will be lost in a blink.

Like I lost the nandana reports after they replaced me with the new reporter.

I went to the file section and opened it.

I took the files that was necessary and walked out of there.

As soon as I placed the portrait back, my phone started to ring again.

"Yea,I'm coming" I said as I hurried outside.

The locker system seemed advanced one and I know that I can't do anything now.

So I just decided to follow her as she was meeting up with her gang.

So I came outside and spotted her getting back on a bike.

I started my car, taking care not to switch on my headlight and started to follow them.
