I looked around the cozy little coffee shop, There were only a few people inside.

I selected this place inside the small park because of this, it will not be crowded, nor will it be a secluded place, perfect for the exchange.

I adjusted my cap as I walked to the guy with blue shirt, who was alone.

"Aditya?"

"Where is Aditi?" The guy turned to me, He looked ready to kill me any second and I watched him a moment, weighing my opponent clearly.

He looked healthy and fit, well toned body that indicated he likes to work out on a regular basis.

Not bad..

"Your girlfriend is fine" I said as I sat opposite to him "where is the hard disk?" I asked him back.

"I need to see her first"

"I need to make sure that you have what I asked for" I shrugged.

He moved slightly and pushed the hard disk on the table. "Here" he said.

I opened my backpack and connected it my computer.

"I hope you didn't do anything to her" Aditya said, sounding threatening.

I closed the laptop, now satisfied that I have the original hard disk with me.

"I will bring her to you" I said "five minutes" I started to get up when aditya placed his hand over the hard disk, before I could take it away.

"I need to get aditi first, before you take this away" he said firmly.

I looked at him for a moment.

"Yea,of course" I said " Give me five minutes"'

Aditya.

I waited at the same spot as I watched shahid and trishana on the next table.

They had somehow convinced me to take them with me here to meet the guy, on one condition, we will talk to him only after I get Aditi back first.

I raised out of my seat when I saw them coming back, I was relieved to see aditi looking unharmed, though her face looked not so happy with being a prisoner.

As soon as they reached near, She glared at me "I told you not to give it to him" she said.

"Here's your girl, now I will get the hard disk"

"Leave her first" I ordered.

"Place it on the table" he ordered back and neither of us moved, not ready to give in.

"A deal is a deal, I hope you won't do anything stupid now" The guy said again.

"Okay" I put it on the table "let go of her now" I said.

"Sure,I will-" He stopped suddenly "You brought a reporter with you!?" He looked angry suddenly, He corrected the baseball cap and pulled aditi back to him and moved back "I told you to come alone" he shouted.

How the heck did he find out!?

I turned sideways to see the reflection from the glass.

He take one look at that and recognised Trishana!?

"Let go of her, now" I pulled out the gun and pointed at him as he took his gun out and pressed it to aditi's side.

The few people who were inside the cafe turned to us in shock.

"Wait! I don't mean any harm!"I said quickly.

"You expect me to believe it?" The kidnapper was still moving backward with the gun still pointing at aditi.

"Leave me!"Aditi was struggling and I placed the gun on the table.

"Let her go"I said as my heart went overdrive "I really don't meant any harm!"

The other people and staffs in the cafe were all running out, But i was too worried to even move.

"Let me go!" Aditi tried to struggle as he pressed her closer to him.

"Wait" Trisha and Shahid, Who were the only people remaining inside, ran to us "Look we don't-"

"You brought more people! Did you really think I don't have a counter plan?" he shouted.

"Don't be rash, we only wanted to talk to you" shahid said.

"Who are you?" The kidnapper said rudely.

"They are with me" I said "but I don't mean any harm, we only wanted to talk to you-"

"you broke our deal-" He stopped when Trishana came forward and pushed the hard disk on the table towards him.

"Here, take this and let go of her now" she demanded "Quick,You just created a scene here,I am sure that the police will be here soon!" She added.

"I don't trust you guys" The kidnapper said.

"I am shahid khan" Shahid spoke up now "The only person who could decode the encrypted files inside is me, I am the-"

"Chief security officer of Ajith sir" The guy whispered, Looking at shahid in shock.

"Can we talk now?" Trishana asked him.

He lowered the gun reluctantly and Aditi pushed him off and walked to my side.

We stood there facing each other.

"What's going on?" The guy looked around, But at the same time,The police siren was heard.

"Police!I told you!" Trishana said.

"We are trapped,the park is small and there's only one exit" I said.

"I know a way out of here" The guy said.

"But,we have checked-"

"Why did you think I mentioned meeting here?" He said confidently "follow me"

Arjun.

I was not expecting an emergency meeting this time.

As I entered the room, I was surprised to see the SI Thomas Mathew with father.

I took my seat while Abiram entered "What's going on?"He asked.

"Thomas mathew have interesting news" Father said in his displeased tone and I was alert instantly.

"What's it?"Mahesh asked while everyone turned to him.

"It's Like this"He started "We got a report this morning that a gang with gun were spotted in a little restaurant in a park" He said "Our patrolling team was the first ones to reach there, But they already escaped" He said.

"What's It got anything to do with-" Pramod started.

"Let him complete" Ragav sir gave him a look and he shut up.

"Well..the officer who reached there first said he recognised one of them, He said that the girl looked like reporter trishana and that's what made me interested" he said and put some photos on the table.

"It was indeed Reporter trishana" He said "I took this photos from the cctv"

"What trouble is she upto this time!" Mahesh said angrily.

"You will understand it if you see the next photo" Father said grimly and I took the picture up and stilled.

The picture was not clear, It looked like the side of a man, And he looked like..

"Shahid khan?"I asked

"What!Shahid khan was with trishana?" Abiram took the photo from me "It does look like him "He looked at thomas mathew "Police department is already searching for shahid, you can take trishana to custody now"

"Don't be ridiculous, This picture is not clear" Mahesh snapped at him "Moreover she's a journalist, Don't forget that" He added.

"But if they are together, It's bad news" Abiram said.

"You said there was a gang" I turned to thomas "You don't know who the others were?"

"I didn't recognise them, there was three more guys, it looked like they were in the middle of an argument"

"Then how come they escaped together?"

"No idea" he shook his head "Nothing was destroyed and we don't have any complaint filed too"

"So we don't have any idea about others?"

"I have the restaurant cctv footage with me, the video quality is too bad, I can't make out anyone" He answered.

"You think she put together a group?" I asked him.

"We can't be sure of that, But If she and shahid is together in this, All others will be equally dangerous too"

"When nakulan was sent to the file house last time, He said he encountered some people there too" Father said "But nothing was missing from the file house, So I didn't take it too seriously"

"I told you before" Mahesh said "Nakulan said it was not normal guys, He said they were fighting for some files there and attacked him too"

"But what we need is Ajith roy case files and We already confirmed that it's still there in the file house, So it doesn't concern us who they were" Ragav sir said.

"Nakulan said they were suspecious" Mahesh said.

Nakulan is his right hand man.

"Don't worry about Ajith roy files"Father said "I have already managed to pass the investigation files to one of our officers, So Ajith roy files will eventually end up with us" he said"We don't have to steal it anymore" He added and everyone nodded in agreement, Looking relieved.

"Something is wrong here" I said slowly "Are you sure that the Ajith roy files are still there?"I asked father and he nodded.

"It was the first thing I checked when nakulan reported it to me" He said.

"May be they were after some other files" Abiram said.

"The timing is too suspecious for a coincidence, They were there just before Ajith roy files were supposed to move?" I said "Do you think they switched the file or something?" I asked.

"There's no way"Father said "I am positive that the files are there" He said "But we can't underestimate that reporter anymore"He said.

"I knew it!" Mahesh said "That bitch was following us for a long time now"

"What are we going to do now? Are we really going to be silent about this?"Abiram asked "What if she really put together a gang? If shahid was with her, It means they are planning something against us"Abiram said.

"Or she could be trying to get interview from him, She's a reporter after all" Prathab said.

"Mostly an interview against surya group" I said "But it looks like she have people helping her now" I said,Looking at the photos.

"Since we don't know anyone's identity yet, We need to follow the person we know the most" Father said "Reporter Trishana, Let's see if we can find the others through her"

"You take care of it, Arjun" Father looked at me "You are good at tracking people"

"No, Let me take care of her, I promise, I won't let her out of my grip" Mahesh said and I nodded.

"I already have a project now"I said.

All of us reached a huge house.

"Dr.prakash" I read the board in front of the house.

I was still not sure of what I was doing. I have already told them my name and we have made the introductions on the way here.

Everyone was already sitting around the sofa settee and I felt totally out of place here.

I turned around and my eyes fell on the guns that was carelessly tossed on the table.

My inside constricted at that.

I'm sure it's unlicensed guns.

I took one in my hand "I liked it better than mine, where did you get it from?"

"I have a good friend who helps me with this, where did you get yours?" Aditya looked at me.

"My brother's" I shrugged "he taught me how to use a gun" I said and turned back to the people around me and looked straight to Aditi's eyes, who looked like she was watching me.

"I don't understand what you want to talk to me about"

"It's me..I mean..my idea" Reporter trishana slowly spoke up. "I wanted to put together the people who wanted to get revenge against surya group"

"What made you think I'm trying to get revenge against them?" I asked and all of them turned to me.

"The people who were at file house, All of them are here now, except narayan's men" she said "If you were not trying to get back at narayan, Why did you want to get those files?" she asked me.

"Do I need to answer you?" I folded my hands across my chest and looked at them "Do you really think I will trust you people just like this "

"The people here are all...hurt by narayan, That's why we decided to get together" Shahid said.

"We are coming back to India after years, We were hiding all these time" Aditya said.

"Wait, Aditya, what happened while I was away?" Aditi turned to Aditya and asked "Do you really wants to start some group to fight against narayan?"she said "We are not going for a picnic here"she added.

"I need to find my daughter, I will do anything to get her back, even if it means I have to go against the law" Shahid said.

"Your daughter is missing?" I asked incredulously "why didn't you go to police?"

"I trusted them once, I thought I shouldn't do anything bad and I lost my wife" shahid said "so I no longer care about anything else" shahid said.

"It's the same here" Aditya said. "When Ajith roy sir contacted us, we thought we are finally going to be free..and look at what happened, he too was murdered, if we don't come back, I thought we never could come back" Aditya said.

My heart skipped at that.

Ajith sir contacted them?

I need to know what's happening.

"What did he want from you? why did he contact you?" I asked.

"You give us the answer first, why did you try to steal the files if you are not against surya group? Trishana asked me again.

Okay..I need to know what they are planning..

"He's my elder brother" I lied "I couldn't believe that he died from the car accident, I wanted to know about it"

"You are Ajith roy sir's brother!? Was he the same person who taught you about guns?" Aditya and all others stared at me "But I thought He doesn't have any family member-"

"He was working for intelligence, Of course, it will be recorded like that" I said quickly.

"what about you, karthik? You seems very experienced in martial arts" it was from Aditi.

I have a feeling that she's been watching me; like x-raying me.

"I work as a bodyguard for vvips, I am trained well" I said.

I don't want to tell them that I Am a secret agent.

"Bodyguard?"

"Yup, I'm one of the best in my field" I said "so enough about me, Tell me why Ajith sir contacted you?"

"Ajith sir? didn't you say he is your brother?"

I looked at Aditi.

"Once you join the intelligence agency, you are no more family" I said "I am used to call him "sir" for the past 19 years that he was in the service, Does it satisfied your curiosity?" I said.

"I don't trust you"she said, then turned to Aditya "I don't know about others, But I don't want to work with him" she said.

"Wait" Aditya said "If you want to find out about your brother's death, you will need our support"

"But your girlfriend doesn't seem to like the idea" I shrugged and for the first time Aditya smiled.

"My girlfriend?" he said "She's my twin sister, but you are right, we are nothing alike" he said

I stared at them.

And I noticed the small resemblance.

"Are you really going to invite the guy who kidnapped me to help us fight narayan, Aditya!?" Aditi looked angry "I don't trust him"

"He's quite useful" Aditya said "you saw it from the file house, He even switched the flies, Even we didn't think about it" he said "Besides, He's the only guy who was able to beat you in martial art, apart from me"he smirked "I trust his capabilities"

Trisha.

I looked at the people I finally managed to collect.

I have a team to work with now.

"Here,This is the details we have on sura group Dr.Aditya walked to the big monitor and started to connect the usb.

"Aditya" his twin sister, Aditi sounded disapproving "I am still worried about this"

"It's only their basic details everyone is already aware of " He said reassuringly and she didn't say anything.

Everyone turned to the screen while it started to play.

"Surya narayan has three sons and a daughter" He said while the photos appeared.

"First one is 33 years old, Abiram, Takes care of the surya hospital groups and he has a big group of private goons to take care of him, He uses them to suppress and destroy his opponents" Aditya said

"He was the one who kidnapped jasmine to blackmail me" Shahid said venomously.

"Our family too-" Aditya started but Aditi cut across him.

"That's enough, Let's move to the next one" She said and everyone detected the tremor in her voice.

"Okay, Mahesh surya narayan is 31 years old, CEO of the textile industry and hotel groups, He is the most favoured son of surya group" He said "Everyone here knows his problem He said "Women, Mahesh treat women like toys,He destroyed a lot of girls" He said.

"It was him who collaborated with the latest fashion world and trapped their ceo Mr.Abraham" He stopped.

And it was him who tried to attack varsha and nearly got her killed..

The slide moved again and the young guy appeared.

"28 years old, Arjun surya narayan" Aditya explained "He is the MD of surya group, He is a good lawyer too, He often appear in court with cases related to merging and acquisition" He said "So far,I couldn't get my hands on his weakness" Aditya said "It looks like he takes care of the paperwork in the corporation, He keeps a low profile among them"

"But what made him different is the fact that He's not his biological son" Aditya spoke up slowly "Arjun surya narayan is adopted to the family" He added.

"What! I didn't know it" Shahid said and karthik nodded.

"That's True" Aditi said "Even though we were abroad , We kept a close eye on this family, Arjun is definitely adopted to the family and that's why we don't have to worry about him" She said "We will take care of the father and two other sons first, Arjun and others will fall down on their own" she said.

"I am surprised that you have this information, Aditya and Aditi, not many people know about this" I said.

"You knew about it?" shahid turned to me and I nodded.

"In fact, I know another thing that's related to him" I said "Arjun surya narayan is actually an illegitimate son of narayan" I spoke up "I heard from my dad that narayan wasn't even aware of this son's existence until Arjun's mother passed away" I said "He was adopted when Arjun was around 12 or 13 years"

"That makes sense" karthik said "He can pass his surname to Arjun without tainting his reputation about his extra marital affairs"

"So that's why Arjun was sent outside to study and all" Aditi said.

I nodded.

"I have been following my father for years, I have about 10 years details on surya group" I said "Arjun narayan started working in the surya group only 5 years back and he's the least favourite one among them, It's like narayan is too wary of him, Arjun narayan's Rank in the company never raised up, While Abiram and Mahesh narayan are the CEOs, Arjun is still the MD, So I also think that we need to take care of the other two first" I said "Abiram and mahesh, When they are out, Arjun and others will have no other way out anyway"

Aditya turned to the screen "This is his only daughter-Shweta" He explained. "25 years old, She is staying at Bangalore and doing her pg there" He said.

"If I am right, Shweta and her mother have no role in the other's activities, she left home as soon as she cleared her secondary school, I have never seen her in any of the gatherings too" I said.

"I too think that she's not threatening" Aditya nodded and turned to the next slide

I watched as everyone was discussing about narayan's PA now.

"Ragav had been with him as long as he started the group, So he's a witness and accomplice of all the things surya narayan has done"

I sat there as they discussed about the history of surya group.

"Narayan was one of the most trusted employees in the palace group, But when their chairman died in a car crash, The company had a crisis, As a result, It was splitted to Surya group and palace group, There is still a bloody war going on between the two groups" Trisha said.

It was news to me.

"Surya group was a part of palace group?"I asked.

Trisha nodded.

"He betrayed the palace group to start his own business empire, Surya narayan and his directors left them when they were in crisis after their chairman's death"

I guess I shouldn't be surprised at this new piece of informations.

"For someone who wants to fight Surya group, You are totally ignorant about them" Aditi commented.

It looks like she's waiting for Any chance to accuse me.

But what she said was right, I have no interest or idea about them until Ajith sir got killed.

"You Are right" I turned to her "unlike you, who have been following them all these years, I am new, I started getting interested in them only when my brother died, investigating them"I said.

"Don'tworry, We will expose their true colors" Trishana said and Aditya and shahid nodded.

"I still need to think about this" I said "let's meet another time"

"Take your time then" Trisha said.

"I can't stay here more" Shahid got up "I need to move back to the apartment,Varsha is there" he said and I stopped dead in my track.

Varsha?The wanted girl?The girl dad is been trying to locate?

Whoa!This is messier than I think!

I know it was not her who kidnapped shahid, But still, Hiding her doesn't seem right.

Arjun.

I was in my "special project room" when karan came inside.

"Boss,we found it, priyanka's whereabouts, She was seen to pass the toll gate with shahid's daughter" he said.

Priyanka is shahid's friend.

"Do you know her exact location?" I asked him.

"No, but Abiram already sent his men there to search for her"karan said.

What the!

"Send our men too, I want to locate her before Abiram, He is only going to make everything messier to handle"

"I understand " karan nodded.

"And we want shahid's daughter safe, it's the only way we could control him"

"You don't want her to get caught?" Karan looked at me.

"No I don't" I said "if Abiram get hold of her, Father will favour him more"

And I don't want that.

Father favour Mahesh and Abiram too much, I am more like a person whom he can make use of to achieve his targets.

Well..I will let him use me all he want...That is, until I achieve what I want..

Karan nodded again before going out.

I turned to the monitor and played the video of the gang again.

They were really exchanging the files, the guys were surely against each other.

I looked as one of them appeared with a struggling boy.

He kidnapped the guy for the files?

I watched it again and noted that the reporter and shahid was waiting patiently on the next table.

I saw them pointing guns at each other.

They were clearly against each other,I watched as shahid and the reporter reached near and started to talk, it looks like they were trying to convince the guy.

The guy let go of his prisoner after the reporter pushed the hard disk to him.

Yes..they wanted to talk to him,that's why they were waiting on the next table.

I tried to zoom the video, Trying to figure out the other guys, But they were facing backwards and the video quality was so poor that I couldn't recognise them.

I reached for the alarm and pressed it.

"Boss?" karan opened the door.

"This reporter, the one working at truth tv, what's her name again?"

Karan looked at me strangely.

"You mean...Trishana?" he asked "what about her?"

"Start tailing her"

"Why?you had no interest when I-"

"The only people we could recognise in this video is shahid and her , shahid is hiding and that leaves her" I said

"But you said to the bigboss that she's not worthy of your attention"

"Well..I changed my mind" I looked at the video again "I have a feeling that we will be in trouble because of these people here" I said "And the only person who could lead us to them is her" I said.

Karan nodded "okay"

"Find me everything on her, Everything from the moment she was born until now" I said again.
