That night I indulged myself in a river full of tears and ice cream to try and help soothe the pain. Word being 'try'. It felt like I had dated Oscar, it felt like we were a couple however we weren't we were two opposite people from the spectrum, who were never ament to be crossed together. I let myself slip more tears and more loud sobs. There was no stopping the tears from flooding, now that I had expressed emotion I can't contain it. I can't be a mess tomorrow otherwise I can bet on being interrogated by my Nan. Grhhhhhhh! Why did life have to be so cruel!

I flickered my eyes open to a blinding light, which engulfed the room, I slowly sat up and cautiously looked around the room.

"Hey there Sarah! Last day hey. You.... you know I am going to miss you....... right?" I heard the person sob but I knew clearly who it was, Ashley!

"Ash, I absolutely know you will miss me I mean I most probably will miss you more, I can't stand the thought of being so far away from MY best friend!" She and I let out a little chuckle.

"See that's the smile I have grown to love! God I would have hoped this would be easy but nothing is easy! Gahhhhh! I sometimes hate my life, sometimes I question myself, why did I deserve a friend like you? I mean you are drop dead gorgeous and the kindest soul I have crossed paths with and to think, you are my friend. I kinda feel selfish," but before I could finish a voice piped up from the darkest corner of my room.

"Don't you dare lower yourself! You are gorgeous, smart and kind and even more, your smile could make anyone feel special!" I knew that husky voice from anywhere.

"Oscar, why..... what are you doing here?" I asked confused.

"Well isn't it obvious I am here to bid farewell to my soul mate." He said with a now sad tone.

"S....soul....mate?" I questioned with shock.

"Well of course, I wouldn't give my heart and soul to anyone else but you. God I don't know what I will do without you, I will dearly miss you! However never, and I mean never, ever date anyone, you are reserved for me! You might be overseas but you will always be MY girl!" He said emphasising my.

"I know!" Was all I could reply.

I looked at him as he stared to the ground, visible tears in his eyes, I couldn't resist myself, I ran to him and gave him a huge hug! We were standing there for about 10 or so minutes just breathing in each others fragrance and each others embrace, someone (and by someone I mean Ashley!) coughed to signal that she was in the room. Like hello I know you are here but I hoped you had left so I could pour my heart out to this stunning specimen right in front of me.

She sighed and then spoke once me and Oscar were out of our embrace. "Your cars here to take you to the airport." She said tears visible in her eyes.

"Wait, what time is it?" I asked slightly confused.

"11am, we didn't want to wake you so we waited for you to wake up yourself." Ashley bluntly said.

"Well then I guess this is a goodbye, huh." I said as I puffed a huge breath, forcing my tears to the back of my eye sockets.

"Until we meet again, remember what I said, and what I am about to say, I love you Sarah Dunley!" Oscar said to me with those gorgeous hazel eyes which stared down at me intensely.

I looked at him speechless then turned to smile at Ashley as she had tears loosely pooling around her, I brushed my thumb delicately over her cheek and whispered to her," I know, I am going to miss you too, ash make good choices for yourself and remember, you will always be my number one best friend, my ONLY best friend!" I stated.

Ashley nodded as then I turned to look back at them both, I then quickly walked out of my dorm which now looked dull and life less and walked down the hallway, suitcases and bags at hand I proceeded down the corridor. I didn't look behind me, I knew if I did i would see Ashley cry and automatically run back to her, and not leave this hell hole. I couldn't risk it so I didn't look back.

I was nearly out the door before someone grabbed me and turned me around to stare at them, Oscar! He leaned in closing the space between us, what was happening? I couldn't think or do anything, was he going to kiss me! I felt his hot breath fan over my lips, he took a look at my eyes and down at my lips, I couldn't react. I finally found my voice and was about to say something when Oscar crashed his lips against me, I couldn't describe the feeling, but it felt so right! It was a long and passionate kiss, I craved more, he continued to kiss me and I finally reacted and kissed him back, he lunged in more and had a smirk on his lips, was I falling for him! I closed my eyes for a split second, enjoying and savouring our last moments together before I went away.

I reopened my eyes and saw out the corner of my eye, a huge crowd of students, some wolf whistling and some recording with their phones, I quickly detached my lips from oscars and stared at the ground, not looking at the huge crowd around us. As if Oscar could Sense my fear he shouted at everyone and with that they where gone, I looked up to meet his eyes, those eyes!

"I am so sorry I just needed to claim you as mine." He said with a bow sad tone.

I chuckled a bit," don't apologise, you only stole my first kiss, you didn't do any harm, I just don't like the attention." I stated bluntly.

Oscar opened and closed his mouth a few times trying to say something, then he finally spoke," you......your first k.....kiss!" He said shocked.

I nodded with a smile on my face. "I am so sorry!" He said with a sad face.

"I said don't be and don't apologise for being my first kiss after all I couldn't have asked for a better one!" I said with a cheeky wink.

This seemed to have put a smile on his face. I smiled back before turning and entering the car before waving one last goodbye to Oscar. The drive was quite and I looked out the window as I slowly fell asleep.
