| A traitor for a nan |

I woke up to shouting and a lot of banging around. I pressed my eye up against the door, and looked through the key hole, "Mellisa you promised to deliver, I have the best drivers outside ready for your command and you dare tell me you are not ready-" it was the guy from the race track and he seemed like he was fuming. He was about to carry on when my Nan butted in.

"Young man don't use such tone on me!" My Nan said in a confident tone.

"No, Melissa you will be out of the game before you know it. Today is when we were ament to do the job, and you haven't delivered. Do you know how this will effect my team? You promised big money and this is what we get. Melissa don't even think of turning up to my race track or be anywhere near my people, you are not welcome anymore." Job? What job? Team? What team?

"Wait, Shane what if I told you I knew where the girl lived." My Nan said in yet another confident tone with a smirk emerging on her face.

"What girl Melissa, and before you carry on, a girl is bad for business." Ouch, I would hate to be whoever this girl is.

"Shane, the girl from the race, you idiot, the no name girl! Does she sound familiar." Ow shît. Their talking about me aren't they.

"Melissa you better not be lying to me."

"Now why would I lie to you, and besides I thought you said that a girl was bad for business. So go, go tell the team that the deals off, now who looks like the idiot. " she said with a victorious smirk plastered on her face.

"Screw you Melissa!" Shame said loudly walking towards the front door.

"I know, see you tonight." My Nan said whilst waving.

"Screw you!" He said before slamming the door.

"Sarah, come down here dear." My Nan said.

I quickly got up from where I was and walked to her, "yes nana?" I asked in a questioning manner .

"How would you like to help me with my business?" My Nan asked from behind her desk.

"Your business? Nan have you taken your medication?" My Nan laughed.

"Well of course I have my dear, and how else do you think I could afford such a huge house." I put the pieces together and they seemed to make sense.

"What business Nan?" I asked curious.

"Well it pays a lot, it is a good base to make friends. " I raised an eyebrow for my Nan to see.

"Fine, you know what I do, don't you!" I gave her a simple nod in return.

"And let me guess, you heard the earlier conversation with Shane." I nodded again.

"Well, do you want to." My Nan asked with a questioning look.

"Only if there are cars involved." Me and my Nan both smiled.

"Ow honey, there are always cars involved." My Nan said with a victorious smile.

"Now back to business, I presume you overheard me attending a race tonight, yes?" I nodded again.

"Well I want you to come." I nodded in understanding.

"Make sure to wear something, like the other girls would wear and don't worry I will buy you a car for yourself." My Nan said in her business manner.

"Nan, what! You cannot ask me to look like those other girls, they wear practically nothing. And what do you plan on doing there anyway." I asked in an astounded voice.

"I promised to tell Shane about the girl, who is you. Now you see dear I work with tight business and our window was about to close, luckily you came to the race track and saved my skin, so he decided to get the job done in return for you." My Nan said with no emotion.

"WHAT! You sold me." Now I felt heart broken.

"Honey you've got to know that it was the only thing I could do, and plus he was dying to get to know you." She said in a 'duh' tone.

"Nana how could you." I now started to feel the tears slip.

"Its business, I told you before."

"Nan......" I said spluttering out my words, tears oozing down my cheek bones.

"Honey, I told you the game changed and you had to bump your head into it, well now you are apart of it, you should have listened to your Nan."

"Nan I'm sorry, please don't give me up, why would you even to that?" I asked in a confused manner, tears still staining my cheeks.

"It's better this way, and as Shane and I are good friends I know he will take great care of you."

"From what I heard this morning you two didn't sound like you got along very well." I looked at my Nan confused.

"As I said before it's just business. "

After she said that I stormed out of the room, time to pack some things. I packed some tracksuit bottoms and jeans as well as tops and pjs as well as some pairs of bras and panties. As soon as I zipped the bag up my Nan entered my room, "great idea dear, you should pack some clothes, good thinking. "

I nodded at my Nan who passed me a small bag. I looked back at her in confusion, "your outfit for tonight." She replied before walking out my door.

I quickly got dressed in the shortest shorts I have ever worn and a crop top, which reminded me of a bra. I grabbed my bag and walked out my door and down the stairs.

"Ahhh, perfect, come dear your car is outside." I looked outside to see my car, a ten second car. I smiled at my Nan, I did appreciate the gift.

I quickly chucked the bag in the back and turned the ignition on, whilst waiting for my Nan to drive off first, I decided to let my hair flow.

We got to the race track, my Nan parking first followed by my car. A crowd now encircled around our cars. My Nan got out and I did as well, I tried to show as much confidence as I could. My Nan smiled in my direction before turning around to see the Shane guy with what I would presume is his 'team'.

"I see, you certainly did deliver Melissa. " he then turned to me.

"What's you name?" He questioned.

I ignored him as I looked anywhere but him. He looked over to my Nan, "her name is Sarah, she's from America." I stared at my Nan in shock. Why would she give a stranger details about me.

"Well Sarah why don't you come over here, this is your new home. " I was quick to reply.

"No, this isn't my home, it might be your home but it ain't mine. "

"Ahhh, she speaks." He said with a smirk.

"Yes she does-" I looked over to my Nan with a worried expression," well if we are going to be so formal, how about you tell them Melissa or should I say Nan."

Everyone looked at her in shock as she frantically looked around at everyone who were now talking to each other. Shane talked once again, "now that isn't nice now is it, Sarah."

"Well how else would she know how to find me and plus I don't think I would go with a guy who refers a girl as 'bad for business'." I quoted him.

"You were there." He asked astounded.

"Every single word. Tell you what I will make a deal with you, I say let's put this strip to good use, how about if I win you let me go-" and he replied.

"And if I win?"

"Simple, I go with you, like you asked."

"You should wish you never said that." He said with a cocky smile.

"You too." I whispered to myself.

I quickly hopped into my car and drove to the starting line. To my left I saw people dealing money, most probably to see who would win. To my right I saw the Shane guy, smirking at me. I rolled my eyes obviously.

A girl who didn't look much different to me raised a cloth into the air. My eyes concentrating on the strip ahead. My mind blocked everyone out, it was now just me and my car.

Ready.............. she stared at my car as I nod.

Ready...... she shouts to the other car as he revs up his engine as the crowd cheers.

Go.............. she shouted waving the the cloth to the ground.

I speed off, all I could hear was the sound of the engine and the finishing line calling for me. I didn't dare look to my right, because I knew that that would put me off and give him the advantage which I wasn't going to let him do. I just concentrated on the strip ahead. To the people around us a race went over in a flash however for the racers it was so slow, one slip up causes the other to win, that's how intense this is.

After about a second I hear cheers erupt and i turned around, knowing either me or him won. As I got out of the car I was engulfed into hugs and people screaming 'you did it girl', 'you go girl' and many more.

I turned around and held onto my car and saw Shane next to my car, "I see, I have a lot to learn about you."

I quickly corrected him, "wrong! You have a lot to learn from me." The crowd erupted in oh's and ah's, some even laughed at my sarcastic comment.

I quickly hopped into my car and sped off, a hotel was in order, good I knew my nana's combination lock for her vault.
