I slowly approached Meme and Laff, they seemed...afraid of me..? But trying to not show it.

"Are you afraid..?"
Expurge and I asked.

"Of course not- you're still the Card maker right..?"
Laff nervously replied.

I narrowed my eyes as a low growl came from my throat, it felt weird. But that's what happens when Expurge isn't a humanoid being. Meme looked at me with fear, I could smell it. I don't want them to see me like this.

"I'm sorry...but I did this to protect you. Both of you."
I apologized.

Meme was still in shock. It's best if I leave them alone for a while.

All 4 claws flexed a bit before my top right one grabbed the med kit next to Meme. Meme flinched in fear.

I took the medkit and placed it gently on Meme's lap.

"Goodbye. It was fun. I cherish the moments we've shared together..very very short moments.."
my eyes were swelling up with tears but it was for the best. Meme and Laff can't protect me forever. And I can't protect them forever.

I left the room to hunt down the other security guards that had harmed Meme,Laff, and me. There goes the first one. I slowly killed him with my claws. I ripped his arm off and ate it before the next one.

She was kinda hard to kill. But I crushed her bones with my claws, these claws are really helpful.
She was also delicious...but she could've had a family... I started to sob as I ate her remains to hide the body.
I'm not sure how Expurge felt, but I felt like that hurt badly.

Down goes the third one. They tried to blast me with ice, the ice was delicious. Nothing's freezing Game Master. Nor burning them. But Expurge felt pain, like if he was touching something really really cold. I guess I feel pain with fires but ice hurts Expurge.

Soon enough the ground and walls were covered with blood. I started feeling that guilt again. And the worst part is. Other children were looking at me with fear.

I don't want to eliminate them. But I will if I have to. Some of them tried to attack me. That gave me permission to gobble them down.

I pounced on a child that looked half vampire. I bit down on his eye. But I assume their friend wacked me off with a broomstick, I growled at them. It's not worth eating if they set off an alarm. I don't want to kill more.

I soon ran away from the facility returning to my normal human form. Blood still splatter me, and my skin was still gray. Black and white smudges were covering my legs and arms. My shirt and pants were stained with blood. I've eaten but I haven't slept...I think that sleeping dart actually works on me when Expurge is gone. I weakly headed over to a nearby city. The facility had a tall wall that was made out of bar wire.

This is going to hurt.

I painfully grabbed the bar wires painfully, I tried to ignore the pain as some of the wires cut my arms,hands, and legs. I eventually made it out. I looked around to see all the streets covered with cars, trucks, and many other vehicles. Good news was it's traffic. Bad news. They might see me as a beast.

So I slowly crawled through the crowd slowly but surely I've made it to the other side
My vision was getting blurry...and my legs are shaky...I managed to make it to an Alleyway. Classic. I picked up some cardboard and made myself a little shelter for the time being...

I'll keep you safe.
I heard Expurge whisper.

And I will too.
I whispered back.

I know you will.
Expurge replied softly before I passed out.
