We've been taking it easy for the first few weeks, ever since we were kicked badly by Crepitate. We don't even know what he's capable of anyways...

Chivel came rushing into the dining room.

"What is it?"
I asked.

"I've received a letter from my kin."
Chivel slapped a small envelope on the table.

"Kin?"
I cocked my head a bit.

"My brother, silly."
Chivel chuckled as I opened the envelope.

"He can fix Rewind!?"
My eyes widened with hope.

"Yes! We just gotta visit my cousin on a long train ride."
Chivel sighed a bit.

"How far?"
I asked.

"Just 25 hours."
Chivel responded.

"Well we should take it then!"
I jumped off the chair.

"Okay, I'll buy the tickets. You pack, I'll be right back!"
Chivel then left the house.

Few hours later.

"So do you know where we're going?"
I groaned dragging my luggage.

"Of course I do, I'd just rather keep it a secret."
Chivel picked my luggage up.

"Why?"
I looked at Chivel suspiciously.

"Because you're going to love it."
Chivel then scooped me up.

I blinked stunned.

"W-wow you're strong."
I stammered.

"Training."
Chivel grinned.

I bit my lips to bite back words out loud.

Chivel put me down once we were on the train.

It was a long ride but it was also beautiful seeing all the sights. There were lots of demons on this train, and they were socializing with humans! Wow! That's incredible.
A few even came up to me and Chivel.

"So tell me more about your cousin."
I opened a pack of shrimp chips.

"My cousin-"
Chivel paused to steal some of my shrimp chips.

"Thanks. Was the one that trained me to be strong."
Chivel tossed the stolen shrimp chip in their mouth.

I looked at Chivel with a frown.

"How dare you, you could've asked for taxes."
I gasped dramatically.

"They're good, I couldn't resist."
Chivel leaned their body a bit on the table.

"Oh get off the table."
I giggled as I gave Chivel another shrimp chip.

Chivel happily took it with their mouth then slumped back on their seat.

"Oh they're also good with forging stuff aka, fixing machinery."

"Like Rewind!"
I smiled.

"EEeeeeeexcatly!"
Chivel smiled, stealing another shrimp chip.

"Hey hands off my dusty chips."
I hogged the chips.

"How dare you! You're not going to feed your hungry friend?"
Chivel laughed.

"Go get your own."
I responded dramatically as I grabbed Chivel's soda can.

"Hey!"
Chivel yelped.

"That's my soda!"
Chivel tries to grab it back.

I pulled it away from Chivel so I could get a drink of it.

"This tastes so zippy"
I mumbled while still trying to drink all of Chivel's soda.

"It's mine-!"
Chivel then fell on me.

"OW-"
I let go of the soda.

Chivel swiftly catches their soda with their tail.

"Thankkkk you."
Chivel got off of me and scrambled back to their seat.

"How are you feeling?"

"amoureuse"
I responded, my body feeling warm.

Expurge laughed.

I took off my hoodie and sniffed it, it smelled like Burnt coal and hibiscus. It was nice, I started to nuzzle my head on my hoodie. I then glanced at Chivel and stopped.

Chivel was watching me snuggle my hoodie as they purred quietly. I blushed in embarrassment and put the hoodie back on.

"You saw nothing."
I started to eat the shrimp chips furiously.

"Right. I saw nothing!"
Chivel sipped on their soda for a while.

"Hey we're here!"
Chivel announced suddenly.

I cocked my head looking out the window.

There was a really tall mountain and lots of cherry blossoms, and a few hot springs and geysers.

"Is that..?"

"Yep!"
Chivel and I got up and walked off the train after we made it to the stop.

More cherry blossoms were in the air, the sun was nice and bright.

"Welcome..."
Chivel smiled, running up ahead a bit.

"To Japan!"
Chivel announced with joy, hoisting their arms in the air.

"25 hour ride. Worth it."
My eyes widened, Japan was beautiful.

"Comn let's go! We've still got 4 hours to go!"
Chivel grabbed me.

"Wait 4 hours?"
I laughed.

"Yeah I lied a bit so we could enjoy Japan a bit."
Chivel giggled as we headed down further away from the station.

"Let's go let's go!"
I commanded Chivel.

"Ay aye captain!"
Chivel ran towards the bottom of a hill.

Crepitate POV:

Crepitate paces around his throne slowly looking at all the gamblers among him.

"Is somehting wrong sire?"
Crepitate's assistant asked.

"I'm loosing my electric connection."
Crepitate grumbled clasping his claws together into a fist.

"Why don't you go on vacation then sire?"
The assistant suggested.

"Well I can't leave this unsupervised."
Crepitate sighed finally sitting down on his throne.

"I'll take good care of it sire. After all I'm with you."
Crepitate's assistant flashed the image of an angel for few seconds to Crepitate.

"Thank you I'll be taking that vacation then."
Crepitate smiled then got ready to leave the casino.
