" I need a house to stay, duffer. " Ragini ordered on the phone. " That b*st**d snatched my home too "

"Language Ragu, language...!!!" said the voice from the other side.

Her nostril flared " He deserves that..!! " She shut her eyes to calm herself. " I need to vacate till tomorrow " She sighed.

" Don't worry, I'll arrange everything..!! You don't take stress...!!! " He promised her. " So how's uncle..??Did he know about it..?? "

" No, he didn't. He is still under observation. " She sighed again remembering that she hadn't gone to meet her father till now.

" Take care of him. and yourself too. I'll be back in 2 days "

" Come soon, duffer. Come soon. "

Before she cut the call she remembered something " O yaa, I forgot to tell you. Nics works for him "

He muttered under his breath " Damn you Nics..!! "

Ragini looked at her father laying on the hospital bed " How...how is he now..??" She turned to her Mom.

" He is stable now. Doctor said he will be discharge in a week or so "

Ragini gave a weak smile to her and she caressed her head. "Now what happened..??"

" We need to vacate home too. I talked to duffer and he said he will find a good house for us " Misthi take a sharp intake of breath and her eyes filled with tears.

She sobbed and Ragini controlled herself not to join her " Why is he doing all this to us, Ragu..?? "

A tear tripped down from her cheek "The reason is me Mom..!!! The reason is me..!! " She cried out in her heart mumbling it.

It's been a really long day for her. Now she is in kitchen to find something to eat as she hadn't eaten from almost two days and her stomach was constant reminder of it.

Her stomach growled one more time as she find some noddles and sigh in relief. " Thank God..!! "

But God wasn't on her side I think, because as soon as She opened the gas stove to make it, her phone beeped. 

Unknown Number : I need to see you at 7:30 AM sharp, in my office, tomorrow.

It's not to be a genius to guess whose number it is. She looked at her phone furiously as she punched the answer.

From where the hell did you get my number..??? — R

This isn't a nice way to talk to your boss. Is it..?? — UN

She gritted her teeth and she typed furiously.

Jerk you are — R

A hot Jerk to be exact —UN

She could imagine him giving her a cocky smirk at his comeback. She has no intention to hear a word more from him. She switched off her phone frustrated and sat on the sofa holding her head.

Hunger was the last thing in her mind at this time but her stomach growled loudly as he whined exasperated and sauntered towards the kitchen again.

Ragini was standing outside their office building next morning with gritted teeth, to see the board of 'Maheshwari Industry' at the entrance.

She was relived little when Laksh called last night to inform that he arranged the house for them.

First, he tried to convince her to stay with him but she refused politely. He is her best friend from college days but she doesn't want to put more burden to him as he is already helping her so much.

She cursed Sanskaar to put her in this situation. Her soft petals were muttering profanities to the person who is the reason behind all this not knowing that someone was keeping his eyes on her from the last 15 minutes.

Cursing time is over Ms. Sahayay, Come inside — Arrogant Jerk

She gritted her teeth again and glared at the CCTV camera on the main entrance.

Sanskaar was sitting in his cabin on his swivel chair not averting his eyes from his laptop. His lips twitched upwards as he saw her coming out of the lift. She barged into his cabin without caring about knocking and he raised his eyebrow slightly amused.

She came and sat on the chair in front of him putting her one leg on the second one. "You are behaving like a stalker Mr. Maheshwari. First my Mobile no. and now keeping an eye on me through camera." She said with a smirk. "Stalker much"  She mocked him.

"Aahaan...You are my favourite person now a days, So I have to keep my data updated, Right..!! " He said in the same tone as her.

She rolled her eyes." So where is my cabin..?? And what I have to do..?? " He smirked as he brought out a file out of his drawer.

" Nothing much, Just do what I said you to. O, did I mentioned before.. that you are sitting at the reception area outside my cabin as I shift all the staff of this floor on the 3rd floor. " She glared at him and he continued with a smirk" So it's just me and you, on this floor "

She fumed and about to say something when he spoke again" And your first work after entering in this office is to give me my coffee exact at 7:30." He glanced at his watch then looked at her "And you are already 10 minutes late. So hurry up...!! "

He clapped at the last words and she looked at him in disbelief. "I am not your servant"  She hissed and he chuckled humorlessly.

"You better be or do I need to tell you that, that I still can fire any of them " he said in a calm but dead tone. She scoffed at his tone as she made her way outside the cabin to the pantry area.

" Yes, Nikhil... OK...No fix it after lunch. I'll be there. Just check everything should be ready by that time" he said on the phone before cutting the call.

"Your coffee, Mr. Maheshwari " Ragini put the cup on his table with a bored expression and he raised his eyebrow looking at her amused.

" Well I am impressed, That you really make me one..!! "

She gave him a sarcastic smile and he was about to sip his coffee but stopped seeing her lips twitching with a smirk.

" Why don't you try it, Ms. Sahayay..? " he forwarded the mug towards her and she narrowed her eyes to him.

" No, Thanks " She rolled her eyes.

" I insist " He said coyly.

She looked at him weirdly that why in the hell he was offering her, his coffee.

She shrugged and grabbed coffee from his hand and sat on the chair in front of him sipping his coffee, coyly.

" I thought she mixed something in my coffee " muttered he under his breath.

" O no, I didn't..!! I am not that bad, you know..!! " She said to him smiling sweetly and his eyes narrowed at her.

She smirked inwardly as she asked mockingly " So, As I drank your coffee, Should I made you one more..?? "

He rolled his eyes muttering " No, Thanks..!! " Then his lips twitched "But I have a work for you...!! "

She looked at him with raised eyebrow and he continued " The record room..!! "

" Record room..?? "

" You need to find all our suppliers and buyers files. Arranged them alphabetically. I need every single detail of them in a soft copy before lunch..!! "

She looked at him in disbelief and his lips twitched upwards into a smirk. She picked her phone nonchalantly as he spoke again "And yaa before that, Bring something for me to eat from the restaurant across the street. I am hungry..!!!"

She cursed under his breath and storm out of the cabin. He had a satisfied smile but frowned when she slide the door open still holding the door nob.

"Mr. Maheshwari, You maybe want go through some mails, till I brought something  for you"

He looked confused as she left with twitching lips.

He looked at his laptop to saw the notification of a new mail. He clicked on it as it opened in a new tab.

He read the mail and his eyebrow furrowed in irritation to see all the buyers and supplier's list alphabetically with all details with a P.S. after that.

P.S. - Thought to remind you that I was the BOSS here.

He could literally imagined her with a proud smirk and he hate that. He wanted to irritate her, torture her but from the morning all he got was her sickly smiles.

He ran his hands through his hair frustrated ad he went through the mail again. His hand worked fast on the keyboard as he typed sneering.

"Not anymore, Ms. Sahayay. Not anymore "

He left the office before Ragini came back because of some urgent call. She talked with employees in that time to assure them that their jobs are safe.

Her phone ringed as she looked at the caller id finding it to be her Mom.

"Mom..!! "

" I came back from hospital to fresh and to take some clothes with me. But... "

" But.. But what Mom..?? "

" There are lots of boxes were unloading outside our home. I thought we have some days but when asked them, they told me that the new owner of this house is shifting today. "

She fumed listening it as she ran her fingers through her tangled hair in annoyance. They hadn't moved out till now. Couldn't he wait until tonight..!!!

" That Arrogant Jerk "
