Third POV
"Then why haven't you told us who you are?" Bheema questions.
"Did you ask?" She fires back.
"Now, we are." Duryodhana joins in. He wanted to know who treated him like this. And dis- respected him so much.
"But we won, and the condition was that we can do whatever we want after we win." The girl folds her hands on her chest and looks at the two big princes in front of her.
The two fall into silence, after all, they did have the condition and they lost.
"Who are you?" Nakul asks, in the silence. The question was directed to the man, ignoring the girl. The man looked like he would share, but the same couldn't be said for the girl.
"In relationship, I am your uncle." The man declares, after sharing a look with the girl, who had shrugged.
Raj Mata giggled to herself as the young men interacted but she swallowed it as soon as she could to not raise suspicion. She wanted to see where this went.
"Uncle?" Bheema asks, confused. "But we only have two uncles, Maharaj and Maha Mantri."
"What is your name?" Arjun narrows his eyes at the man who just beat him.
Before anybody could say anything there was a shriek, everybody turned to where it came from, they were all turning to a direction for the third time, it was getting a little annoying.
It came from where the ladies were sitting, Rani Kunti and princess Dushala had their hand raised as if to stop something, from happening. But what?
Looking down, you could see that a lady had jumped from there, though it was a very short height, it still could be fatal.
The one to jump raised her head, it was Dwarka Princess Subhadra.
"Badi Bon!" She shrieked jumping on the girl, who was standing beside the man, who just declared himself a brother of Maharaj, himself.
"Chutanki!" the girl laughs as she hugs Subhadra, closely. And kisses her fore- head.
"How are you Chutanki?" the girl asks, pulling away from Subhadra.
"I am wonderful, Badi Bon" Subhadra answers smiling. "Pranipatra Dada Karn."
The man now identified as Karn, rolls his eyes looking away, from Subhadra. Making Subhadra pout. She looks at the girl, who shrugs.
And smiling cutely, Subhadra starts to poke Karn in the right arm, "Dada Karn! Dada Karn! Dada Karn! Dada Karn!" she chants, non- stop.
Raj Mata Satyavati smirked; it seems that her Aditya found a monster himself.
"Ish!" Karn stops her. "Subhi. What do you want?"
"Pranipatra Dada Karn." Subhadra says with a smug smile, showing her joy.
"Pranipatra Subhi." He greets back. "You both are so alike. Always irritating me, huh?" He motions between the two girls.
"We are sisters." Both of the ladies say together, giving him a deadpan look.
Karn gives a long- suffering sigh, and looks ready to cry if they both talk more.
Everybody else took in the information, so this girl was from Dwarka? Is she also a princess of Dwarka? But how? They didn't hear about her.
Raj Mata Satyavati raised an eyebrow at the new information. Really?
"Why did you jump from such a height? You could have hurt yourself." Subhadra scolds Karn. As the others watch with big eyes, she is scolding him.
And once again Raj Mata Satyavati's face was adorned with a smirk. It seems she was not only a monster but a care- taker too. Cute!
"You are saying that?" Karn raises an eyebrow, at Subhadra.
"Touché" Subhadra makes a face.
"Aww! So sweet." Karn pulls her cheeks.
"Dada Karn!" Subhadra whines as the other girl, her sister, laughs.
"Badi Bon! Tell him not to do it, na." Subhadra pleads her sister as Karn pulls Subhadra's other cheek.
People wonder, what does 'Badi Bon' and 'Dada' mean? What language was she speaking?
The girl slaps his hand away, "Don't irritate her.......... she will cry."
"Badi Bon!" Subhadra cries, in infuriation as the other two people chuckle.
"Who are you?" Yudhishthira asks, directing the question to the two people. He couldn't stop the question from tumbling from his mouth.
"Ananya Yadav." The girl answers, smiling at the people all around her. "The eldest sister among all the Dwarka siblings, alive."
People were surprised of what she said. They didn't know about her. How did she survive, the legendary Kansa? Where was she all the time?
They are diverted from their thoughts, as Subhadra's Dada spoke up.
"Devrat Karn." The man answers, smiling and diverting the attention.
Wasn't that Maha Mahim Bishma's previous name?
Why was he named that?
Why was he smiling like that?
There was an instant reaction,
Kunti was praying, thanking the gods above, for Karn getting a family.
While Vidor and Dhritarashtra were surprised as to what the man was saying.
Gandhari was confused and whispering to her daughter, who was too amazed.
The princes all had got silent and were staring at the young man in confusion, amazement, surprise. Flickers of emotion was visible on their face.
Gandhar- Raj Shakuni's one eye had fallen shut. He couldn't even imagine this case coming up, in his nightmares.
Kripacharya was smiling seeing the young boy had now grown into a man and was just as skilled as Devi Ganga and Mata Satyavati.
People on the other hand were cheering for their long- gone prince, "Raj Kumar Karn Ki Jai!"
"Raj Kumar Karn Ki Jai!"
What surprised the royal family was that the cheer was louder then they anything. They have never heard the people of Hastinapur cheer for anyone so loud before.
Raj Mata Satyavati was practically jumping in her seat but she knew that her grandson would like to see his father first and there was nothing wrong in it.
Bishma was gazing at his son, eyes taking in each and every tiny detail of his son. Of the person who had returned after nearly 20 years. Tears started to spill of his eyes as Bishma's son looked at his father, making an eye contact.
"Karn." Bishma whispered stepping ahead.
"Papa" he whispers, almost running to his father.
Karn, falls on his father's feet. His tears were flowing at such rate that it nearly washed Bishma's feet.
"Come here, Putra." Bishma hugs his son. Both of them crying.
"You took your time to come, huh?" Bishma asks.
"What could I do, I was ordered." Karn answer wiping his fathers' tears.
"I missed you too much." Bishma says.
"Me to, papa. Me too." Karn took a deep breath.
"I am proud of you." Bishma said. Karn smiled, his four hundred forty volt smile that blinded almost everyone.
Nodding to his father, he turns to Kul Guru Kripacharya.
"Pranipatra Acharya." Karn greets the Kul Guru, with a wide smile.
"Ayushmann Bhava Putra." Kul Guru Kripacharya blesses him.
"Say, Acharya, can't I fight with Arjun?" Karn asks, with a teasing smile.
"You can't, you have got naughty with your age." Guru dev slaps him on his back, playfully, eyes narrowing in fake anger.
"Acharya!" Karn says outraged.
"I don't lie son." Acharya says in a serious tone.
"Of course, you don't Acharya." Ananya says as she comes to takes his blessings, out of nowhere. "He used to disturb Gurudeva a lot, too."
"Look who is talking." Karn snorts.
"Everybody is doing just that, Karn. They have eyes." Ananya says in an obvious tone, that made people pinch their lips together.
While Karn just gave an exasperated sigh, shaking his head.
"Pranipatra Maharaj." They suddenly greet, together.
"Pranipatra." Maharaj Dhritarashtra returned. He was still shaken and didn't know how to approach the situation and what to think.
"Pranipatra Maha Mantri" The two again chores in sync.
"Pranipatra." Maha Mantri greets back. He thought he knew his Tat shree, looks like he didn't know him very nicely.
The cheer now was reaching heights, and the family was just watching slack- jawed.
"Raj Kumar Karn Ki Jai!"
"Raj Kumar Karn Ki Jai!"
And this time, Karn smiling widely joining his hands and bowing it to accept the respect given to him by the people of Hastinapur.
All members of the royal family in the arena were wondering one thing only why weren't the others aware of Karn?
When was he born?
Who is his mother?
Since, so many years, where was he?
The hall fell in silence when a voice spoke up,
"Is my monster not going to talk to his old grand mother?"
"Dadi!" Karn exclaimed and practically jumped in his grandmother's arm. The said lady hugged her baby boy as tightly.
She had missed her grandson too much to care for her status in the arena.
