Third POV
Raj Kumari Kunti of Kunti Bhoj, a mere girl of fifteen, was cuddling with the child she had just received, from Surya Dev.
A few months ago, the venerable sage Durvasa had visited the palace of Kunti- Bhoj. She had requested her father to go serve the great sage, and Yadav chief Shurusen, happy with her daughter's wish had complied him.
Kunti pleased sage, Durvasa with her devotion and patient service to him. He was as also was sage pleased easily, Kunti's utter dedication to her work and perseverance was a cherry on the top of a cake.
Thus, before leaving her father's kingdom, he gave her a boon. He taught her a Mantra (Chant), by uttering which, she could invoke any of the celestial god of her choice and get a son from the same.
After Sage Durvasa's departure Kunti had been curious weather the Mantra (Chant) she had got really worked or not.
So, today morning she had uttered the Mantra invoking the Sun God- Surya Dev. To her sheer amazement he had appeared, in front of her on her call.
She folded her palms and expressed her gratitude to the Sun- God for appearing before her and requested him to return to his adobe above, Surya Lok. But he could not do so, for he had to honor Sage Durvasa's boon and give Kunti a son.
And that is how Kunti found herself here, the kid in Kunti's hand was glorious and as divine as his father, she had just met. Also, he was born with a natural, impenetrable golden armor and ear- ring, a blessing from Surya dev. He was the cutest child; she had ever seen and didn't need to wait for the future to know that he would be a very handsome young man and a capable fighter too.
Kunti let the basket kept with child float. A high pitch scream, wrenching out of her, as the basket took her first kid away.
She was heart- broken, but what could she do? She was a daughter, before being a mother. She couldn't let the society question her father, right? She could have lived with being criticized, but what was her fathers' fault? Somebody who always taught her do the right thing. One who had always let her do things she wanted to do, less it was out of decorum. It wasn't his fault? Then why should he be questioned and blamed?
Joining her hand she said, "Hey Mahadev, Narayan, Brahma Dev. If I, Raj Kumari Kunti, princess of Kunti Bhoj, has been a pure sole, never defied others. Always worked for people's safety, cared for others. As, a blessing, please ensure that my son, Kaunteya Karn, reaches someone who loves him. And cares for him. Take my soul if you have to but please ensure that no harm can reach my son and he finds a loving home."
She had full on started to cry till the end of her prayer, saying one last thing, she fainted, out of overwhelming emotions.
She had said, "Hey Mata Ganga, you are the mother of most of the rivers, mother of everyone in this world, you know my situation and my sin. Bless my son, for all the good deeds I have committed and let find a home." Her tears falling mixing in the river ganga.
On the other side, in Kailash
Brahma dev appeared before Mahadev and Mata Parvati, in Kailash.
"Pranam, Mahadev, Devi Parvati." Brahma Dev greets the two.
"Pranam Brahma dev." Mahadev and Mata Parvati greet in return.
"I know you have heard the plea, Mahadev." Brahma dev says.
"Will the destiny change, Mahadev, Brahma dev?" Mata Parvati asks.
"That depends on who will find him, Gauri." Mahadev answers.
"You already, know who will find her, Mahadev, if this happened, don't you?" Another voice said.
"I think we shouldn't meddle much, Narayan." Mahadev kept his opinion. "Pranam."
"Pranam Mahadev, Parvati, Brahma Dev" Narayan greets with his heavenly tone and smile.
"Pranam Narayan." Brahma dev replies.
"Pranam Bhrata." Devi Parvati smiles
"Of course, I do, Mahadev. But you must agree, my idea isn't that bad." Narayan smiles, his mischievous smile.
"Has anyone ever change your mind?" Mahadev asked, smiling a little.
Narayan simply smiled, at his god. After all, he couldn't say no to it.
"But Bhrata, what are you doing?" Parvati asks, intrigued.
"Patience, sister dear, Patience. You will see, what will happen." Narayan smiled at his sister.
"But if you really want to help, you should call for your sister."
"Why Ganga?" Devi Parvati asks. If there is something, Devi Parvati lacks that is Patience.
"I just said, sister, patience." Narayan smiled, his rose like lips curving into his beautiful smile.
Nodding to his brother, Parvati calls for her sister.
Devi Ganga appears on her sisters' request, in front of the Tridev and her sister.
Folding her hand in respect she says, "Pranam, Mahadev, Parvati, Narayan, Brahma Dev."
"Pranam Devi Ganga." The Tridev greet.
"Pranam Jiji." Devi Parvati says.
"You guys called for me?"
"Of course, Devi Ganga. You must have heard the plea of the broken- heart mother."
"Yes, I did, Narayan. And it breaks my heart to see, the child."
"Then, why don't you do something for him?" Narayan asks.
"What can I do? What should I do?" Ganga asks.
"Why Devi? Take him to a potential person. The whole of the event occurred in front of you. You know the truth about his birth." Narayan smiled.
"Take him to a potential parent. Somebody who will love and care for him."
"I couldn't get you, Narayan." Devi Ganga says.
Who was Narayan speaking of indirectly?
Brahma dev smiled, while Mahadev decided to clear Ganga's confusion.
"Why don't you take him to someone, who is dedicated to his dharma, his karma, Ganga?" Mahadev asks.
As if hit by a lightning, Ganga realizes what they were talking about. They wanted to take him to Devrat, her son.
"But will he take the child? He has taken a pledge of celibacy." Ganga asked worried.
Her son was as adamant about things as a mountain, that does not break even under harshest of wind and shower storm.
"Help him, Devi Ganga and rest is in Destiny's hand, lets' see what happens, Kunti prayed to all of us. We will try all we can." Brahma Dev pitched in.
Nodding in understanding, Ganga took her leave.
"I take your leave, right now." Narayan joins his hand.
"Of course." The Kailash couple nodded, smiling at him.
"I too, shall leave, Mahadev, Devi Parvati." Brahma dev declares.
Saying so the two of the Tridev, vanish in thin air, leaving the couple alone on the top of Kailash.
"I hope that Bishma takes the child." Parvati says, resting her head on her husband's shoulder.
"Me too. The previous fate of Karn was too painful." Mahadev ponders. "He didn't deserve it. Maybe Narayan's idea isn't that bad."
He takes a deep breath, enjoying the feeling of having his wives head on his shoulder. And rests his head side by side on hers.
