PERSONALITY
as distressing as some people may find it, in a way his actual personality has merged with his human display, human facade, act, whatever you want to call it. If anyone were to ask, of course he would deny the fact that he actually enjoys earth as a whole. but in truth he's insanely passionate about some aspects of human culture, such as parties, and clothing the whole shebang. some people have said he can be very... intense at times, he becomes overly keen in any social settings, again: parties should be noted since they're his favourite past time and his favourite thing to het worked up over. In the midst of an event, more then once he's been called the 'life of the party', he holds a warm air about him, a cheerful act always accompanying him especially when he interacts with strangers. he always wants to be likes, he needs to be liked, whenever a situation becomes to tense his first reaction is to crack a joke, or throw around some crazy suggestion. for Instance, two people fighting? threat of war? let's go blow up a car, or jump off a building into a pool, some dangerous stupid act usually gets peoples attention and deflects away from any issues going on.

yet underneath the easy going party man act, there is a toxic side to his generosity, sure he'll give and give, he'll always expect something in return. a good time always costs a lot, it comes with a price and those who partake ad benefit shouldn't think it's always a free ride. he's incredibly arrogant in that sense, self-centred in every single regard. he thinks the world revolves around him and the party should never start until he walks in. Inflexible, stubborn, the whole shebang. yet despite his desire to be treated as a king, he's lazy as ever and wont work to earn the party, he'll just throw the party. little bit hypocrite in that regard.

he never thinks enforce he speaks or acts, and never looks before he leaps, impulsive in all hell. he loves to look his best, appear to be the best, he needs to be admired, he's perfect after all — so why shouldn't he be treated as such? surprisingly he isn't a perfectionist, as long as he's getting attention and isn't being ignored then he doesn't care what everything around his looks like. besides, why would be want everyone else to be as perfect as he is? that means competition, he doesn't want to compete for his place. really to put it plainly: he is really out of touch with reality.

STRENGTHS:
— media, any types, social or news, online the whole shebage (one of his catchphrase)
— throwing parties, big bashes and over the top social events and gatherings
— big social butterfly, and the perfect distraction, basically a show girl in plain terms
— an incredible thief, and he just keeps getting away with it, repercussions don't stick
— being able to ignore massive problems or people is certainly a strength

WEAKNESSES:
— he doesn't anger easily, but he certainly becomes passive aggressive like that
— super impulsive, tends to put himself in dangerous situations without thought
— does being a social whore who lusts for attention and social starlight count?
— stubborn as hell, no self preservation and tends to say whatever comes to mind
— judgmental as ever, but he believes whatever he's told, no fact checking here

LIKES:
— fast cars, shooting stars, it's even better when the car is stolen from his co-hosts garage
— upsetting affan t'krusskyo aka hugo rosseau aka his best friend in the whole world
— human alcohol and all that strange medication they throw around? gold to him.
— rooftops, high rises, he loves being as close to the skies and space as possible.
— fast planes, helicopters, it's even better when they're stolen, or 'loaned' you know?

DISLIKES:
— he actually hates art, mainly because it's impossible for art to be perfect
— water, being underground, anything that includes being below sea/ground level
— the law, human law, even LEIM's laws really get on his nerves, people need to chill
— imperfections relating to himself, he needs to look perfect (childhood trauma)

BRIEF BACKSTORY
as disgusting as it is, hesperos was born much like humans were, you know two parents pregnancy all that. he had a standard childhood, asides from you know: the war. since he's still alive its clear that he was determined attractive enough to live, and well he was granted high social statues due to his appeal. yeah, that totally didn't go to his head as a child, good job xanthuan culture. so he was sent to a noble family, and from then he became the son of a LEIM's ambassador. honestly he would describe his life as ratty dull from there, maybe that's why in some way he's obsessed with human culture, the lack of discipline is almost addictive. I mean, sure there was a war going on, but war is so ugly best not to think about it. he'd much rather focus on the positives of everything.

like his coming of age party, the fact he passed his second evaluation, actually his pass is actually what got him his place in this competition. that's how he was able to adapt his new life: dara asterin, american talk show host and Internet personality.

now unlike hesperos, dara actually had a truly traumatic childhood, humans seem to lap this angsts stuff up. yes he's an orphan, lost his parents in a fire, from that point on he dedicated himself to helping others and making the world a better place. that's right he donates to all those human charities, especially the fire service in loving memory of his poor parents. may they rest in the star's with that god dude whoever he is, god bless them yada yada. anyways, he doesn't want to think about the war that destroyed his home planet, the fact his people are not fighting over a planet, or the fact that his fake made up human family died in a fire or whatever. where are the drinks at? let's throw a party.

OPINION ON:
— humans.
ah they're you know, disgusting and imperfect creatures, they don't even realise how flawed and stupid they are. how can one be so unaware of their obvious gross appearances? he almost feels bad for them, you know? they're not golden at all, they're just.. there? he doesn't even know how to describe them. whatever, they're entertaining at least, that's all they have going for them.

okay, he doesn't love it per say, like he doesn't mind it. it's just blank noise and sounds and such a catchy beat and tempo just really gets to him it's all just a total vibe yeah? it's like good..? maybe that's just because he listens to it all the time. he's been exposed to it ever since he's entered the human world one could say. he kinda has to like it, it makes a party after all.

— the competition.
oh he's down for it, he's against war, he won't say it out loud but blood shed disgusts him. even the way the xanthuan's deal with their ageing populous disgusts him, it puts a pit in his stomachs. he almost becomes sick at the mere sight of blood. but you know, he won't ever say that out loud. anyway, yeah the competitions genius in a way, perfect and diplomatic.
