The arcade seemed pretty normal to Hiro and Wilbur, but it completely blew Violet and Penny's minds. The games didn't have joysticks or buttons. It seemed like you put on a headband and moved around the game. The games even had holograms instead of screens.

"This is just like the special effects we would see in the show, right Bolt?" She whispered and scratched his ear.

"Do you guys want to eat first or play some games?" Tadashi asked them.

"Play games!" they all exclaimed.

"Alright let's split up, we'll meet back here in two hours alright?" Tadashi asked and everyone agreed.

"Let's have some fun!" Wilbur exclaimed as he quickly pushed Violet, Penny, and Hiro towards the arcade games.

"I'm glad he's hanging out with his friends," Honey Lemon commented as they watched them run off.

"Me too, I still find it strange that he had never mentioned them before," Tadashi said and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Maybe he felt embarrassed?" Honey Lemon concluded.

"Whatever it is let's not worry about it now, we came here to have fun! Unless you lovebirds want to have some alone time?" Fred intervened and wiggled his eyebrows at them.

"You're never going to let me live this down are you?" Tadashi asked while covering his red face with his hands.

"Nope," Wasabi, Go Go, and Fred told him.

"I'm going to get him back," Tadashi grumbled while Honey Lemon just giggled as they walked to the games.

"Umm, how exactly do you play? Where's the joystick and the buttons?" Violet asked.

"Pfft, joystick. It's easy! Just put these gloves and headband on, go into the cage and a hologram will appear. I'll go against you," Wilbur explained.

Violet did as she was told and waited for Wilbur to go to the other cage. Once he was inside two holograms appeared inside the large cage in between both of them.

"Ready! Set! Fight!" the machine exclaimed and health bars appeared on top of the holograms.

"This is pretty much fighting except you don't get hurt. I'll go easy on you," Wilbur teased with a smirk.

"You seem to have forgotten who you're dealing with," Violet said changing into a more confident demeanor.

"Trust me, I don't forget for a second," he replied with a softness in his voice and they both ran towards each other.

Meanwhile, Hiro and Penny were watching in silence.

"So, what do you like to do in your free time?" Penny asked breaking the silence.

"Well, I like bot fighting. W-what about you?" Hiro asked nervously while grabbing the back of his neck. He mentally facepalmed himself for stuttering.

"I like to spend time with my pets," she said and looked at Bolt watching Violet and Wilbur fight.

"You don't like hanging out with your friends?" Hiro asked.

"I would if I had any," Penny admitted.

"You don't have any friends?" Hiro asked surprised.

"No, most of them wanted money, and fame, while the others wanted me to be the cold and cool Penny from Bolt, " Penny sighed after her explanation.

"I guess we're in the same boat," Hiro joked.

"You don't have any friends either?" Penny asked.

"Not really, aside from Tadashi's group," Hiro admitted and rubbed the back of his neck again.

"Well, we'll be your friends," Penny proclaimed and motioned to Violet, Wilbur, Bolt, and herself.

"Thanks, we'll be your friends too," Hiro said and smiled showing the gap in between his teeth.

"I just noticed you have a gap between your teeth-" Hiro started to get self-conscious and thought that she was making fun of him until she finished, " I think it's cute!"

"You do?" he asked surprised and smiled while trying to suppress the blush in his cheeks.

"I do," she said and returned the smile. However, their little moment was interrupted by Violet's victory scream.

"I want a rematch!" Wilbur exclaimed as he and Violet took off the gloves and headband.

"Why? So I can kick your butt again?" Violet teased with her hands on her hips.

"I let you win," Wilbur stated and crossed his arms.

"Keep telling yourself that," Violet replied and poked his nose. Wilbur touched his nose and then they both walked over to Penny, Hiro, and Bolt.

"So, we still have an hour and forty-five minutes left, so let's have some fun!" Penny exclaimed and ran off.

Everyone else followed, laughing and enjoying these fun moments before having to fight. Despite their attempts to ignore it, they all had this nagging feeling in the back of their minds: We're just kids, how could we possibly do this?  But another thought also crossed their minds: We are going to fight, we are going to win, and we are going to do all that together.
