Chapter 16: Reinforcements

"Penny, honey are you alright?!" Aunt Cass quickly asked as she ran around the corner with 4 people behind her. "I heard you scream!"

"Yes, I'm fine," Penny replied sheepishly.

"That was cutting it a little close kid," the man Penny helped said before setting her down outside of the cell.

"Wow, that was a very heroic thing to do," Anna commented.

"Thank you, umm, what's your name?" Penny breathed.

"Eugene Fitzherbert, but I'm liking this hero thing, so you can call me Flynn Ryder. How's that red?" he answered and then asked Anna.

"Penny, are you alright? Are you hurt? I tried to bend the platform like I did the wall, but I couldn't do it. You could have died," Hiro rambled while walking back and forth and pulling on his hair.

"But I'm fine, see?" Penny replied and stopped him.

"But what if you weren't? We should have never done this. What were we thinking!" Hiro scolded himself.

"Hey, kid, you need to calm down. I know what happens when you let fear consume you," Flynn told him soothingly.

"The only thing you can do is practice your ability, make it your own, and let people that care about you be by your side."

Hiro furrowed his eyebrows and nodded. Flynn smiled before getting up.

"Now, Anna and I have to find Elsa. She's blonde, beautiful, strong, insanely determined, and has ice magic. She's usually wearing a blue dress, have you seen her?" Flynn asked them.

"No, but if she was with you when you were brought here she's probably in one of these rooms," Hiro replied.

"I helped Mary Katherine, Guy, Thunk, and Eep out of their cells," Aunt Cass replied and signaled to the two young ladies and two young men standing beside her.

"You can just call me MK," Mary Katherine, or rather MK, replied.

"We're trying to save everyone, could you please help us?" Penny asked.

"Help? We'd love to!" Anna replied.

"What do we do?" Flynn asked.

"This place is so weird," Eep murmured.

"This is just like the story I saw in my make-stuff-up place! We were sent into a place called " the Futor". They even look like the people in my dream! He looks like the guy that could bend metal with his mind. She looks like the girl that could get people to do whatever she wants. Those two look like the ones that were as strong as dad," Thunk commented to Eep albeit slurring some of his words while pointing to each one.

Everyone was dumbfounded by how much he had known about them.

"Was I there?" MK asked him.

"Yeah! But I didn't hear you talk because the room turn red and these small red creatures started screaming," Thunk replied and yawned.

"So I'm guessing you can see the future?" Hiro asked with uncertainty.

"Small red creatures?" Penny repeated.

The alarms started blaring and everyone immediately got into an offensive stance.

"What is that!?" Eep asked and grabbed both Thunk and Guy ready to run if she needed.

"Wait- Where are Calico and Callaghan?" Hiro asked.

Penny looked toward the hole just in time to see the villains escaping.

"I-I lost focus when I was almost crushed," Penny replied.

"Okay, we don't exactly know how many henchmen they might have, so everyone needs to say what powers they have as quickly as possible," Hiro quickly instructed.

"I can control metal," Hiro said.

"I can multiply," Aunt Cass replied.

"We're both super strong, but man was holding that platform tiring," Flynn replied and rubbed his sore muscles.

"I can shrink and talk to insects," MK replied.

"We'll need that in order to open up all the other cells," Hiro replied.

"What about you guys?" Anna asked Eep, Thunk, and Guy.

They couldn't reply because Eep yelled, "They're here!"

The wall with a hole opened up and a large wave of soldiers came running in. They aimed at the small group of supers, but before any of them could shoot, Eep ran into them. She gave a war cry before throwing the men in all different directions.

"Okay, umm, did she get bigger and... red?" MK asked.

"Let's not worry about it now. Anna, Aunt Cass, and MK, please help release all the other hostages. Start with the blonde woman in that cell and make your way to the rest," Hiro instructed. They nodded and got to work.

"Not that she's not being really helpful right now, but should we be worried?" he asked and turned to Guy and Thunk.

"That? Oh, she did that right before we were brought here," Guy replied.

"Yeah, it was weird. She did that when she and Dad were hunting. Then things from when I sleep started happening, Sandy spit on a rock and made a hole through it, Mom breathed fire, Grannie controlled the weather, the only one who's normal is Guy," Thunk informed them and swayed from side to side.

"Are you okay?" Flynn asked.

"Yeah. *yawn* I just haven't slept in a while," Thunk responded.

"His cave would hit him with lighting everytime he tried to fall asleep," Guy replied.

"Okay, Flynn, please help Eep. Guy keep Thunk safe. Penny, Baymax, and I will go after the villains," Hiro instructed.

They climbed on Baymax when Penny asked, "Why wouldn't they want Thunk to fall asleep?"

"I don't know maybe-" Hiro was about to reply when they heard a monstrous yell.

They turned around and saw Thunk asleep on the floor and a giant glowing monster standing beside him. It attacked any henchmen who tried to get near Thunk and the rest.

"I think that's why," Hiro replied.

"Do you think they'll be okay?" Penny asked.

"Yeah, it seems to be protecting them," Hiro replied.

They turned back around and used Baymax to fly over the crowd of beaten henchman and out of the room. Hiro used Baymax's tracking system to see where the villains might be, but it was jamming up. He stopped Baymax and they both hopped off.

"Hiro! Look!" Penny exclaimed and pointed toward the hole they had made.

Iron bars were slowly closing it up. Penny ran to it and saw the rooms were also being reinforced.

"Are you guys okay?" Penny asked.

"We'll figure something out, you guys should go!" Flynn replied before punching a few men.

"I'll try calling Wilbur he can probably get them out," Hiro said.

"Wilbur, where are you?" He called through his mic but got no response. "Wilbur?"

"Maybe he can't talk, I'll try reaching him," Penny told him.

"Wilbur, where are you?" Penny called via telepathy.

"Sorry guys, but I can't talk right now. How's your side of the plan going?" Wilbur asked.

"Okay so far. We freed some supers and are now looking for the villains. Has Violet called you yet?" Penny asked.

"No, why? Has she not called you?" Wilbur asked getting worried.

"It's been about half an hour since we last talked. She said she'd call you as soon as she was ready on her part," Penny replied.

"Okay, don't hesitate to call once you reach her," Wilbur replied.

"I won't, but where are you?" Penny asked. There was a silence in her head.

"Wilbur?" she called again.

"Did you manage to reach him?" Hiro asked while still fiddling with Baymax's controls.

"Yeah, but he didn't tell me where he was," Penny replied.

"Aha! Looks like I fixed him," Hiro replied. "It looks like the two most likely to be them are the two people two floors on top of us. Another two are four floors underneath us."

"One of the ones on the bottom seems to be chasing the other, so I think that's Wilbur," Penny concluded.

"You're probably right, which means we need to get the two above us," Hiro replied.

They climbed back on Baymax and flew through the halls. They managed to find a staircase, not trusting the elevator. They have seen and/or been in enough movies to know that never worked out.

"They should be in that room," Hiro whispered.

"What do we do?" Penny asked.

"Hiro?" Aunt Cass asked through her ear piece.

"Yes, Aunt Cass?" Hiro replied.

"The villains some how got back inside," Aunt Cass replied.

"Wait, what? Are you sure?" Hiro asked.

"Yeah...Wait... some.... happening... explode!" Aunt Cass's transmission was cut off.

Author's Note

Hhhheeeeyyyyy...
Sorry it's been so long! I won't waste your time, but I do have a few questions.

1.) Do you guys find it okay that I incorporated other characters from other studios and movies into this book?  If yes, would it be okay if I continued to do this in future books or do you guys want me to keep it strictly the Futuristic Four after this one?

2.) I'm torn between two "endings" for this book. Would your guys prefer our heroes to struggle or do you want there to be a twist? (The twist would be something like Now You See Me 2, if that isn't an obvious spoiler.)
