~~Altered on June 11, 2018~~

"Why didn't he take us?!" Hiro asked frustrated. He hissed in pain when Baymax sprayed his arms with alcohol.

"They want to mess with us. They're villains, it's what they do," Violet replied.

"I'm sorry. If I hadn't gotten captured Wilbur could have saved your brother," Penny apologized from the couch.

"It wasn't your fault. It was mine. I should have gotten out of the way, instead I got you captured and injured," Hiro apologized and rubbed his face.

"Don't worry, we'll find him," Wilbur proclaimed and got up with a wince.

"If you haven't noticed, you three are injured. How exactly are we supposed to find Tadashi and fight?" Violet asked.

"Baymax. Hiro could probably rewire him to track Tadashi down. By the time that's done we'll all feel better," Wilbur explained.

"You're right! I'll get to it right away!" Hiro exclaimed. He supported himself on his arms to jump off the table but winced.

"No, first we need to rest," Wilbur reminded him.

"Rest? My brother is probably being tortured right now!" Hiro exclaimed.

"Well, you won't be much help if you can't move your arms," Wilbur countered and stood in front of him. Penny and Violet looked at each other, both worried about what would happen.

"Guys calm down. Knowing Syndrome, this is what he wants," Violet tried to remind them in vain.

"It won't matter once I put the suit on," Hiro argued back and tried walking around him but Wilbur stopped him.

"Guys, please stop fighting," Penny pleaded and carefully walked over.

"You won't be much help if you're being held back by pain," Wilbur once again tried to reason.

"Guys, seriously," Violet tried to help once again when she saw Penny's frustrated face.

"I don't care! I need to help him!" Hiro exclaimed angrily.

"Both of you, stop!" Penny said much louder. Their eyes flashed white for less than a second and then they both stood still.

"Guys?" Penny asked and waved her hand in front of Wilbur's face. "This isn't funny." 

"I don't think they're playing," Violet responded and shook her head. 

"How do we get them to stop?" Penny asked her.

"I don't know, but I think that it has to do with you. Mind control maybe? Guys?" Violet asked and snapped her fingers in front of their faces.

"Snap out of it," Penny told them. They both blinked before they started bickering again.

"I'm not about to stay here without doing anything!" Hiro exclaimed. 

Everyone heard a rattling but felt that this was a more pressing matter. Penny, afraid of saying the wrong thing, simply put her hand on Hiro's shoulder in an attempt to calm him down. Then, metal tools around them made their way towards Wilbur.

"Watch out!" Violet exclaimed and made a force field around him. The tools hit the force field, making it shatter, and then fall to the floor.

"Why does this keep happening?!" Wilbur asked. "You two need to be rescanned by Baymax ASAP."

After they were tested Wilbur read the results, nodded, and turned their way.

"It's just as I suspected. Both of your genes are active," Wilbur told them.

"I...I, umm, thought so," Penny agreed.

"Is something wrong?" Hiro asked her.

"One of her powers is most likely mind control. She used it on you two by accident and is afraid that she'll do it again," Violet answered for her.

"Well, based on what we saw earlier, you either both have the same powers or they're just similar," Wilbur sighed.

"But, this is actually a good thing," Violet stated.

"How exactly?" Wilbur asked. " Now we'll need to use up some time to make sure this doesn't get in the way."

"Think about it. They know that you and I have powers, but they don't know Penny and Hiro do. We can use this, we just need to know what we're dealing with," Violet explained.

"Violet's right! If we can control our power, we can use that to find Hiro's brother, get your time machine back, and defeat them," Penny agreed after carefully choosing her words.

"You're right, let's do this," Wilbur agreed. Everyone turned to look at Hiro. Hiro looked at the ground before meeting their eyes and nodding with determination.

"Yes!" Penny cheered and pulled them all into a hug touching Violet and Hiro's shoulders since they were on both ends. Violet became invisible and created a giant forcefield that pushed all of the tools and chairs away, while Hiro made everything that was metal fly to the walls.

"How about we don't touch each other for a while? Besides, you have to be careful with my foot," Wilbur laughed. Penny and Hiro paused and looked at each other with realization. Penny turned around and lifted her shirt slightly. Hiro looked at his arms.

"Huh, they're not swollen anymore," Hiro said.

"The cut on my stomach is almost healed and the slight bleeding stopped," Penny told them.

"Okay, well that's a start. Aside from Mind Control, Penny's could be healing, cell regeneration, power transfer, telekinesis, or power augmentation whereas Hiro could have metal manipulation, telekinesis, or cell regeneration," Wilbur informed them by naming the powers it could be.

"Penny touch Hiro's shoulder when I tell you to," Violet requested. Penny did as she was told.

"Now, Hiro, think about lifting that stapler with your mind," Violet instructed Hiro and pointed to the stapler. 

She gave Penny the signal and immediately, Penny's hand emitted an orange light that seemed to transfer to Hiro. The stapler, along with many other metal objects, flew up into the air. Hiro jumped slightly causing everything to fall down.

"Okay, now think about lifting that plastic cup," Violet asked. The light transferred again, but nothing happened to the cup. Again, metal objects flew all around.

"Now, Penny let go and Hiro, try to lift that stapler again," Violet once again asked.

They did so, but this time the stapler, and only the stapler, merely floated for a bit before falling down.

"It appears that Penny has power augmentation and Hiro has metal manipulation, but we'll have to make sure that's it," Wilbur informed them.

"There's still the thing with your injuries. It's possible that Penny has power augmentation along with healing, but typically healing powers are almost instant. Or maybe you two have cell regeneration, but that's a trait that appears since birth, so we would have seen it on your previous scans," Wilbur started explaining all of the possibilities. He was going to have to go through their scans again to see which it could be.

"Unless it's higher than normal, but not at a super speed. True, the very few healers I know of can't heal themselves, but they have an extremely high cell regeneration, so they don't have to," Violet added, "Penny touch Wilbur's foot."

Penny did so, making the orange light quickly transfer to Wilbur's foot. Out of nowhere, two large lightning bolts flew to the ceiling from his hand and he teleported out of the chair and onto the floor. The lightning stopped when Penny let go from being slightly electrocuted.

"Are you okay?" Hiro asked Penny. She nodded and blew on her hand.

"Okay, so as far as I can tell. Penny is able to forcibly activate someone's powers via touch. My guess is that the "healing" part only works if people have a faster than normal cell regeneration, since all the supers I know are that way, although at different speeds," Violet concluded.

"Yeah, my ankle does feel better. Alright, so far we have the element of surprise on our side. We need to think of a game plan, in the meantime, Hiro will work on Baymax and the rest of us should test our limits," Wilbur told them.

The rest nodded and got to work on training their powers and abilities.

"I promise Tadashi, we'll get you back as soon as possible," Hiro declared as he walked over to Baymax.

As it turns out, Baymax already had the ability to find people he previously scanned, so Hiro worked on his powers instead. He, Penny, and Wilbur were no experts, but they had learned enough so that if they needed to use them, they could. Penny, however, was still afraid of her forceful powers, which prompted Hiro to design lead-plated gloves. They found that she could still activate someone's powers through 18 layers of clothes and that her Mind Control only worked when stating commands. 

"Alright, so everyone, I know that it's technically now morning, but we need to rest, in a few hours we'll get ready, hop on my time machine, and go find Tadashi and their lair," Wilbur explained with a yawn.

The rest nodded and started heading for their own rooms. They only walked slower when they heard Hiro's phone go off.

"Hello?" Hiro asked and yawned.

"Aunt Cass?! ... No- I mean yes! No, everything's fine we just- umm, fell asleep...Tadashi? He, well, he went to Fred's house I think... Maybe his phone died?... Yes, I know, I'm sorry... Really, there's no-... Love you, Aunt Cass, bye." Hiro talked to his aunt on the phone while pacing back and forth before hanging up.

"Is everything, okay?" Violet asked.

"No, my aunt was asking me about Tadashi," Hiro replied with frustration.

"She must be worried sick, I mean you had "The Talk" just yesterday and then you two don't come home," Penny added.

"I told her he was at Fred's house. What do we do?" Hiro asked frustrated.

"All we can do is continue with the plan," Wilbur told him. Hiro nodded and sighed.

"You could stay in "my" room if you want? I could stay with Violet if that's no problem?" Penny offered and looked at Violet for approval.

"That's fine by me," Violet agreed. Everyone turned to Hiro.

"Okay, thanks," Hiro replied and yawned.

"Try to sleep for as long as you can, once we wake up we'll talk about the plan further," Wilbur told them and bid them good night, or good morning in this case
