Mikan and Nagito walked down the street, both gently holding each other's hands. The nurse held onto her bag strap and shifted it nervously as she looked down at the ground. Nagito cleared his throat and nervously rubbed the back of his hand. "Is... this too awkward for you...?" He asked softly, looking down at the sidewalk.

"N-No, its not awkward a-at all..." Mikan replied, looking up at Nagito worriedly. His grey eyes looked into he lavender ones as he looked at her worriedly as well.

"Are you sure...? You seem uncomfortable doing this..."

"N-Not at all! T-This is a first so I-I'm just nervous."

"Okay..." Nagito said nervously, looking at the girl next to him and held her hand tighter as they walked down the sidewalk. Mikan held his hand a bit tighter as well, and played with a strand of hair as she walked by his side. Nagito and Mikan were in a relationship, and have been for quite a while. But, they kept it a secret so they wouldn't be bombarded with questions from their classmates. And for the first time in months, they both finally decided to go on their first date. And of course, they were extra cautious and made sure not to run into any of their classmates. So for the past hour or two it's been nothing but pure awkwardness between them, only holding hands not too long ago.

They went into a small cafe and ordered something small to eat and a drink, sitting in silence for a while before Nagito cleared his throat and looked over at Mikan across from him, a small blush on his cheeks from embarrassment. "So what do you want to do after this?" He asked, looking over at the girl across from him.

"I-I'm not too sure...." Mikan replied shyly, playing with a strand of her hair again.

"Do you want to go to the park?" He suggested, the other shyly nodded and smiling a bit at him. They stayed there for a while in silence before they got up and left, holding hands again when they left the place.

They walked together in silence as they walked to the park, their  fingers intertwined as they walked side by side together. The couple sat down on a small bench on the sidewalk, their hands still together They talked a bit here and there, but they mostly stayed quiet from the awkwardness. After a small while of sitting there awkwardly, Nagito nervously reached a hand and rubbed the back of his neck and looked at the others hands on her knees. "S-So are you having bun..?" He asked, his eyes widening at his mistake before shaking and looking at Mikan with a small blush on his face. "I-I meant to say fun..."

Mikan laughed a bit as well, her cheeks also a rosy pink. "I-I did have fun.."

"That's good..." Nagito said, still embarrassed over his mistake from before. "Sorry about that little mistake."

"It's fine, don't worry about it." She said with a small smile, waving her hand softly. They laughed a little bit before the two of them went quiet a bit, looking at the sunset in the not so far distance.

"Is it okay if I hand- hold your hand?" Nagito asked, his face flushing once again. He lifted his head to look at the other to see her laughing a bit once again, her hand turning upside down. They held hands and looked at each other as the park slowly started to get emptier. The embarrassed male lifted a shaky hand and softly caressed her face, making the other jump a bit and her face growing red.

"Hey Mikan...?" He asked, his voice shaky.

"Y-Yea?"

"I..." Nagito paused, trying not to mess up or stumble his words. "I love you..." He said softly, almost a whisper. Mikan's face darkened more and a small smile grew on her lips.

"I love you too..." She said softly, a small smile still on her lips and looked into his grey ones. They stayed like that for a while before Nagito decided to make a bold move and started to lean in, the other jumping once again before she did the same. It wasn't long before they're lips softly met each other for a small second before they pulled away. The two looked at each other for a bit before they erupted in laughter, they're faces a dark shade of red.

The couple soon got up from the bench and started to walk on home, they're fingers intertwined with each other as they walked side by side. They laughed at the awkward things that they did throughout the day and talked about the fun stuff. "I had fun today." Nagito said, looking at he girl next to him who nodded in agreement.

"Y-Yea. I-I had fun as well." Mikan said with a smile, a small blush on her cheeks still from before.

"D-Do you want to do it again n-next week?" He asked, his face growing pink for the umpteenth time that day. Mikan looked at him for a bit before smiling happily and nodded.

"Y-Yea, I'm okay with t-that..." Nagito nodded and smiled at her again, holding her hand tighter as they continued to walk home.

When Nagito stopped at Mikan's doorstep, he leaned in to kiss her softly once more that night before he waved at her and went back home. She stood at her doorstep and watched him leave until he could no longer be seen anymore. A small smile grew on her face before she turned around and opened the door, her fingers lightly touching her lips.

The next week when they saw each other at school, they looked at each other for a bit before they started laughing at their first awkward date, keeping it their little secret.

I'M SORRY IT TOOK ME MONTHS TO UPDATE THIS IVE BEEN REALLY BUSY WITH EVERYTHING AND I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO UPDATE IT UNTIL NOW AND HOPE THAT ITS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ALL THE MONTHS IT TOOK ME TO WRITE THIS.
