Remembering you-Izuru x Chiaki

Izuru walked down the quiet halls swiftly, his eyes focused on what was ahead of him as he went to where he was told to go. His eyes glanced at the walls around him, looking at the flashing monitors around him. This is probably what Junko was planning.... He thought to himself as he stopped at the nearest monitor to him, looking to see what the crazy girl was doing. Without thinking Izuru's body tensed up at he looked at who was on the screen, his eyes widening as he looked at it. There was a familiar girl in a maze that was covered in blood, her clothes tattered and tears rolling down her blood and tear stained cheeks. His heart sunk as he watched the girl being hit with various weapons. Who is she.... He asked himself, swallowing as he took a step back and walked to where he was going.

Izuru felt his heart tense up as he walked down the hall, monitors on every side as he walked. He adverted his eyes to the floor as he started to walk faster, his eyes shutting tightly as his formed his hands to fists and he walked faster. The monitors continue to flash and the girl continued to suffer in the maze, which pained him that she was this situation. Izuru walked faster, wanting to get out of this, his balled fists and he closed his eyes tighter. "Who is she...?" He asked himself, looking up at the monitors and the girl suffering even more than she was before. The question kept buzzing around his head, the question gnawing at him as he looked at the perfectly lined monitors on the walls.

He stopped and took a couple of deep breaths and tried to relax a little bit when he got in front of the door that Junko and her sister was in. Izuru looked back at the monitor once more before letting out a sigh, looking back at the door in front of him and opened it. "Ah, Izuru you made iiit!!" Junko explained happily, spinning in the swivel chair while smiling at him with her signature smile. Izuru said nothing, but swallowed a bit before stepping inside of the room and standing by Mukuro. "I thought that you got lost or somethin'" Junko said with her smile, turning back around and at the wall on monitors.

"Don't think about something so stupid." Izuru snapped, looking at the giggling blonde before looking at the screens in front of him. "What's going on?" He asked, worrying about the familiar girl.

"Huh, her?" Junko asked, looking back at Izuru while zooming in on the girl. "Nothin' much, just doing as we planned earlier. She's basically in the palm of my hand at this point." She replied, balling her hand as she said that. Izuru let out a small sigh of worry, as she did that, looking back at the monitors and watching the girls actions.

The room was quiet for a moment, well before Junko slapped the glowing red button with 'AIR' labeled on it. "Come on Gamer Girl, you're almost there and everyone's waiting for you!!" She yelled, laughing before taking her hand off and spinning around. The girl on the monitors jumped a little bit and went faster, but stopped once a spear stabbed her leg.

Gamer Girl... Izuru thought, the name ringing in his head and the name Junko gave her. He closed his eyes and thought to try to remember who she was. Who are you!? He desperately thought, his head hurting as he tried to remember who she was. Then in a flash, a memory of her came to his mind. It was the girl, sitting outside at the fountain with a happy smile on her face with a pink controller in hand, the sunset shining down on her. His eyes shot open once that came to his mind, looking at the blonde banging on the table with excitement. Who is she? He asked himself once more.

Junko turned around and looked the two of them, her finger going towards a black screen in the corner. "Have I told you what this is for?" She asked with a sly smile.

"No." Mukuro replied, shaking her head while looking at her sister.

"Well, my dear guests." The blonde said, closing her eyes and her voice changing. "This is the trap room."

"Trap room?" Izuru asked, confused by what she meant.

"Well you see, once Gamer Girl enters this room, multiple spikes will come out of the floor and kill her." Junko said happily, clasping her hands together.

"But isn't that a little harsh?" Mukuro asked, her voice sounding concerned.

"Of course not! I-"

"Chiaki...." Izuru muttered softly, looking down at the floor.

"Huh?" Junko asked, looking at him confused and somewhat disappointed.

"Chiaki." Izuru said again, turning to the side and leaving the room.

"Izzie wait!!" Junks voice echoed around the room as he quickly went down the hallways. At first, he was walking quickly, his eyes glancing at the monitors every now and them. But, it wasn't long before he started to run and he felt tears running down his cheeks, wanting to go as fast as he could to save her. As he ran, her smile and memories of them flashed in his mind, making more tears run down his cheeks.

It wasn't long until he reached he back entrance to the trap room, realizing where he was by how dark it was. Izuru took a deep breath, his hands forming into fists as he swiftly walked to the other door. He stopped, looking at the doorknob before taking a deep breath, knowing that he was doing the right thing. Without thinking again, he took a step forwards and swung the door open, a small gasp exiting his lips.

Chiaki Nanami, the Ulimate Gamer, stood in front of him, her once perfect uniform now tattered and her body covered in blood from head to toe. The two start at each other for a while before the girl gave him a pained smile and softly closed her eyes. "H-Hi, Hinata-Kun." She said, her voice filled with pain. Her voice sent shivers down Izuru's spine, a nostalgic feeling stirring in him as he heard his voice. He looked at her for a bit before he took a step to her, hugging her as gently as he could without hurting her. It wasn't long until he felt her hand softly resting against his head and another around his torso, her fingers lightly touching the side of his body. "I'm sorry, Nanami-San..." He whispered softly.

"There's no need for you to be sorry, Hinata." Chiaki weakly whispered. Izuru pulled away from the hug and looked down at her, seeing her weak and painful smile at him. A small smile formed on his lips as he looked at her, his hand reaching down to hold her hand.

"Lets go."

"Yea." Chiaki said with a smile, holding his hand. Izuru looked at her before starting to walk back the way she came, his hand protectively holding her hand as a smile were on both of their faces.
