Komaru walked along the destroyed streets of Towa city, her megaphone in hand as she stepped over the countless Monokumas that powered off. She let out a shaky breath as she ventured on, wishing that Toko was there with her, but it was for the best that she wasn't. Komaru got a letter, more of like message, after Big Bang Monokuma was defeated. The message said for her, and only her, to go to the secret exit so they could talk to her. So Komaru told Toko where she was going and she'll be back, Toko decided to stay with Togami until she came back.

As Komaru got closer to the shrine, she heard unfamiliar voices where she was going to go. As she went up the stairs, her heart stopped a bit as she saw them, The Remnants of Despair. She hurriedly went down the stairs and went to the side, silently waiting for them to finish their meeting. Komaru waited for a while, looking back up at the top before letting out a small sigh, wondering when they were leaving. She glanced to the side where she could've had the chance running away and returning later, but there was a chance that she was going to be caught, so she decided to stay there for a while. After a while, she heard them starting to leave the staircase, letting out a small sigh as they left.

When they were completely gone, Komaru walked out of the side of the staircase, looking at a man in black. "You came..." He said, his voice somewhat monotone.

"Mm." Komaru hummed going up the stairs to him. "What did you want to talk to me about?" She asked softly. Izuru Kamukura looked down at Komaru, his eyes looking at hers.

"Come." He said simply, turning around and walking down the steps. Komaru looked at Izuru before following him, going down the steps and following him wherever he was taking her. She didn't ask him any questions as she followed him, silently wondering where he was taking her.

After a while, Komaru was taken somewhere where she didn't recognize where she was. "Where-" She started, only to be interrupted by Izuru.

"I was meeting with the Remnants of Despair," he started, looking at Komaru with his piercing red eyes. "And they said that they were going to have a war on Towa city, they didn't say why though.

"What...?" Komaru asked, her mind blown about the sudden news. Why would they have a war on Towa City? Monaca did say that they would have a war if she broke the controller, but she didn't.

"They had also mentioned that they were going to take anyone that they see and keep them as hostages."

"That's terrible..." Komaru thought aloud, stepping back a bit, slight intimidated by the sudden news. Izuru somewhat ignored her, turning around and starting to walk somewhere. Komaru followed him, looking around as she followed the black haired man. He stopped near an empty road and a sign that said 'Welcome To Towa City' in big letters.

"This is the only way that you can get out without being caught by them." Izuru replied, looking at Komaru.

"But what about everyone else who are going to be harmed?" Komaru asked with worry in her voice.

"I know someone who told the Future Foundation, they'll be dealing with the Remnants of Despair and releasing the hostages that they took." Izuru replied, turning away from the road and started to walk away, Komaru following him silently and nodded to what he told her before. Izuru told Komaru to meet him at the shrine at 6 in the morning with whoever she was with, and not to be late at all. She nodded and said that she'll be there a little before 6, going back and telling both Toko and Togami what Izuru told her, not saying who it was for reason.

The next morning, Komaru woke Toko and Togami, trying a bit harder on Toko than Togami. She led them to the shrine to where Izuru was waiting, looking at him and waiting for him to come down to greet them. "We're ready." Komaru said with confidence in her voice. Izuru nodded and started to leave them to where he led Komaru the day before. They ignored all of Toko's weird questions and her thoughts aloud, occasionally hushing her when they were somewhere quiet. The rest of the way there was quiet, no one really spoke, just following Izuru quietly as they followed him/ "This is it." Izuru said, showing them to the road once they got to it.

"Thank you, Izuru." Komaru said, smiling a bit at Izuru. "Good luck." Komaru said softly, smiling at him a little bit. She softly kissed his cheek before she started to walk off, waving at him as she got farther away. Izuru watched get farther and farther away from him, a small sigh exiting his lips as he turned around and starting to walk off to meet the others, hoping that she made it out okay.
