That was the only Seiko x Izayoi picture that I could find, so sorry of it confuses you for Ruruka x Izayoi

Seiko walked of the room with tears streaming down her face, pulling her mask up a little. She sat down in the hallway, curling herself into a ball as she cried in her knees. Ruruka, her old childhood friend, started to insult and make fun of her, so she left before it could get any worse. Her body trembled as she continued to cry, her eyes glancing up towards the wall across from her. "When did it turn out like this...?" She asked herself, looking back down at her lap with tears in her eyes. Ever since Ruruka and Seiko's friendship ended, both Ruruka and Izayoi 'ganged up' on her, making the timid feel unwanted by her old friends.

Seiko heard the door open in the distance, making her jump slightly in surprise, burying her face in her knees and closing her eyes. She heard footsteps approach her, which got louder and louder. "How long are you going to sulk like that?" A voice asked, making the girl squeak in surprise. Seiko looked up and saw Izayoi standing next to her, one hand on his side and the other hanging at his side. She reached up and wiped the tears away that were gathered at the bottom of her eyes.

"I-I'm sorry..." Seiko said quietly, not making eye contact with Izayoi as he stood there looking at her. Did Ruruka send him here so he could punish her because she annoyed her? Or maybe-

Seiko's thought were interrupted when he sat down next to her, sighing as he leaned his head against the wall and let out an exhausted sigh. "Don't be, you did nothing wrong." He replied, looking at her while her head was still facing downwards.

"B-But-"

"You didn't do anything wrong." Izayoi repeated, putting his hands behind his head. "Ruruka is just being Ruruka."

After that, the two were silent, sitting in the awkward silence that filled the hallway. Was he standing up for her? Even though he's been friends with Ruruka for the longest times and always stood up for her? Was this something they planned?

Izayoi looked over and saw how nervous Seiko was, sighing a bit and looking at her. "Hey, I'm not going to hurt you so you can stop worrying."

"W-What...?" Seiko asked, looking at him with a surprised look in her eyes. Izayoi looked at her for a little bit before looking back at the wall across from them.

"I said that I wouldn't hurt you." He repeated, looking at her with a small sigh. "Why would I hurt someone that I like?"

"Oh..." Seiko said softly, a small blush on her cheeks at the indirect confession she just received. She was touched for a second, then she realized about Ruruka, what would she say or think? What would she do to her, or the both of them? "But what about Ruruka?" She asked finally, looking at Izayoi with her eyes slightly widened.

"What about her?"

"Like-" Seiko stopped herself, thinking about what she was going to say. What was she thinking of saying? "What about Ruruka? Don't you have a close relationship with her?"

"I do, but she doesn't have to know."

"But-"

"Friends don't always tell each other things..." Izayoi said while sitting up against the wall. "Heck, Ruru's probably hiding a number of things from me." He explained, earning a small nod from Seiko.

Does he actually mean what he's saying...? Or is he just saying it so she'll come back to the meeting. What if-

Seiko was interrupted by her thoughts once again when she felt a tug of the mask that was over her face. "What are you-?" She asked, but was stopped before a soft pair of lips met her own. Surprised, she let out a small squeak and pulled away before anything else could happen then.

Seiko was about to open her mouth to say something, but Izayoi put a finger up against her lips so she wouldn't say anything. She looked at him, her heart beating faster than it did before. What was he going to do to her?

"Listen, from here on out, I'll protect you from whatever Ruruka  does or say to you. Okay?"

"O-Okay..."

Izayoi put her mask over her lips again and stood up, leaning against the wall as the door opened not so far away from them. "Yoi-Chan! There you are!" Ruruka said as she went over to them. She grasped onto his arm and softly kissed his cheek. "Come on, lets go back."

The two of them started to leave, before Ruruka stopped and looked back at Seiko, waving a hand at her. "Come on, lets go Seiko." She said before walking off. Seiko hurriedly got up from the floor and went up to them, getting on the other side of Ruruka. Izayoi opened the door for them, Ruruka thanking him sweetly before walking inside. Seiko softly thanked him before sitting down in her seat from before. Izayoi sat down next to Ruruka, looking across the room so his eyes met Seiko, putting a finger over his lips so their relationship could remain a secret.
