Chapter 10

"Wow! This place is amazing!"

With a happy smile on my face, I looked around at the different sights. I can't believe I've never been to Magnolia before.

"Told ya!" Bixlow exclaimed with a grin.

"You've really never been here before?" Freed asked me.

I shook my head. "No. Like I said, I was always on the move and in hiding. There's a lot of places I've never really seen."

Evergreen flashed me a smile. "Just wait until you see the guild. You're going to love it, Freya, and I know all the boys are going to love you."

I tilted my head in slight confusion. "What do you mean?"

She smirked slightly and said, "Well, seeing a new, pretty face such as yours is sure to earn you a lot of attention, especially from the men."

I noticed a slight frown make its way on Bixlow's face. "But if any of them start bothering you too much, I'll be sure to take care of them."

A smile tugged at the corners of my lips at his protective nature. It's just like when we were little. He chased away the boys that were picking on me.

After a little more walking, we made it to a large building with the Fairy Tail crest on it. I gazed up at it in awe as we approached the large doors. Freed pushed them open to reveal a large room full of people.

The loud chatter ceased as everyone's eyes landed on us. My eyes nervously darted around the room at all the new faces. Almost immediately, visions began clouding my mind.

I saw so many different things at once. Meeting a tall, blond man. Talking to a group of cats. A bunch of guys swarming me. Getting a guild mark. There were so many.

Unable to take it anymore, I clutched my head in my hands, turned, and ran. I quickly found myself at a large park. I sat against the large tree in the center and shut my eyes while still holding my head.

Bixlow's pov

I watched Freya turn and run. Something must be wrong. Before I could go after her, I heard the quiet murmurs of my guildmates. They all must be confused.

I took a glance at Freed and Evergreen. "I'll go find her."

They both gave a small nod in response. I quickly rushed off in the direction Freya went. I soon found her sitting against the large tree in the park. I went over and crouched down in front of her.

"Freya, you okay?"

She looked up at me with a slightly sad expression. "Yeah. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry you. I just...had to get away from there. My head was overwhelmed with visions."

"What were they about?" I asked.

"Nothing bad. Just simple little things. But there were just so many of them that it hurt."

I leaned forward slightly and placed my hands on her shoulders. "Freya, baby, you know you can always talk to me if you need to."

She gave a small smile. "I know. Let's go back to the guild."

"You sure?"

She nodded. "Yeah, I just needed a moment to get those visions out of my head."

Freya's pov

I followed Bixlow back to the guild where everyone started looking at me again. As I finally walked in alongside him, I watched the majority of the guys in the room start drooling while their eyes turned into hearts.

"Wow, what a beauty!" they all seemed to yell.

Bixlow quietly led me over to where Freed and Evergreen stood with the blond man with the lightning bolt-shaped scar over his eye. Standing before him, he looked me up and down before grinning.

"You must be Bixlow's childhood friend, Freya. I'm Laxus. I've got to say, you're much prettier than I imagined."

"Oh, uh, thanks," I nervously replied with a smile. "It's nice to meet you."

It seemed like in an instant, I was swarmed by people who were introducing themselves. Laxus and the Thunder Legion quickly got everyone to give me some room.

One by one, I learned most of the guild member's names and faces, including Master Makarov, who is the guild master here. He, in fact, led me over to the bar where the white-haired woman Mirajane stood.

"So, you would like to join Fairy Tail, Freya?" the short, elderly man asked.

I nodded. "Yes."

Master Makarov looked to Mirajane and nodded. She, in turn, smiled warmly at me and grabbed a magic stamp tool.

"Alright, Freya, what color would you like your guild mark and where do you want it?"

"Mmm, purple, and I want it right here."

I moved my cloak and pointed to my right hip. Mirajane leaned over the counter and stamped right over the edge of my shorts. As soon as she removed the stamp, a purple Fairy Tail mark was there on my skin.

I gazed down at it with a smile. When I looked back up at Master Makarov, he had a huge grin on his face.

"Welcome to the family, Freya."

Before I could reply, someone tackled me from behind with a hug. I quickly realized it was Bixlow. He lifted me off my feet and squeezed me in his arms.

"I'm so happy! You're in the same guild as me now, baby!"

"So happy! So happy!"

I laughed at him as he finally set me back on my feet and released me. Master Makarov stood up on the bar to get everyone's attention.

"It seems like only a few days ago when we welcomed Wendy and Carla into the guild. Now we have yet another new member. I hope that our Fairy Tail family will continue to grow."

Everyone cheered and Bixlow led me over to a table with Freed, Evergreen, and Laxus. The five of us sat together and it seemed like half the guild had come over to talk to us.

The white cat, Carla, made her way in front of me and said, "So I've heard that you have the precognition ability too."

I nodded. "Yes. I'm constantly having visions of disasters and things like that."

"I see," she said. "Sounds like your power greatly surpasses mine. I rarely have visions like that anymore."

The little girl with dark blue hair named Wendy looked at me in awe. "Wow, so could you tell me what my future is?"

Carla frowned at the girl. "Now don't be silly, child. She is not a fortune teller."

"She's right," I agreed with a small smile. "I don't really control it. It just happens."

The pink-haired dragon slayer I now know as Natsu pushed Wendy out of the way and leaned toward me with a huge grin.

"Yeah, yeah, enough about that. I hear your pretty strong, Freya. Wanna battle against me?"

Before I could reply, the black-haired Gray shoved him away. "Would you back off and give her some space, flame brain?"

Natsu pushed against him and yelled, "Your one to talk! I'm sure she doesn't want to hang around a stripping popsicle!"

In an instant, Gray was stripped down to his boxers and pushing against Natsu. They were suddenly broken apart by Erza, the redhead.

"Both of you knock it off and leave her alone! And put some clothes on, Gray!"

Gray suddenly looked down in surprise. "What the-"

He quickly got dressed again and the blond girl, Lucy, stood beside me with the blue cat, Happy. "You'll have to excuse them, they're idiots."

"Aye. But you're pretty stupid yourself, Lucy," Happy stated.

Lucy frowned at him and yelled, "Shut up, you stupid cat!"

I suddenly noticed Gray being swarmed by the woman with blue hair, Juvia, I think her name is. She was rambling about how great Gray was.

And then I saw the dragon slayer with black hair called Gajeel and his black cat, Panther Lily, coming over. He approached me, pulled Lucy out of the way, and frowned slightly.

"I'd stay out of that group, if I were you. All they do is get into trouble."

He pointed his thumb back at the group that continued to argue and fight amongst each other. Natsu must've heard him, because he marched over and punched Gajeel, who went crashing across the room.

"Haha, take that you iron freak!"

"Why you little-"

Gajeel got up and punched Natsu right back. Panther Lily stood by and watched as a big brawl started. Laxus seemed to sigh in annoyance.

"Here we go again," he muttered.

Watching everything that happened in front of me caused me to laugh. Everyone seemed to freeze and stare at me in confusion as I wiped a few tears from my eyes.

"You guys are a riot!" I said between my fits of laughter. "If this is what it's like to be in a guild, then I love it here!"

Everyone seemed to smile at my statement. For quite awhile, I got to know many of my guildmates. When I noticed the sun outside beginning to set, I decided to question Bixlow.

"Um, so where exactly am I going to sleep? I don't have any money to rent a place."

Bixlow opened his mouth to reply, but Evergreen interrupted, "You can stay with me at Fairy Hills for now. It's the girls dormitory for Fairy Tail members."

"Really? Thanks, Evergreen," I replied with a happy smile.

She returned my smile. "Think nothing of it. We're friends now, after all. Besides, you deserve a place befitting a beautiful woman."

Freed gave a small, approving nod. "Seems you two have everything figured out then."

I noticed Bixlow was oddly quiet all of a sudden. I looked over at him in slight confusion to see him staring down at the table. Since he was sitting beside me, I placed my hand on his arm.

"Bixlow, you okay?"

He looked over at me and smiled slightly. "I'm fine. Don't worry about it."

Laxus chuckled, causing us both to look over at him. "I get it. He's just feeling down because your staying with-"

I was surprised to see Bixlow reaching across the table to cover Laxus' mouth. I noticed his cheeks were a pink color and knew that he was embarrassed.

"Please, Laxus, not another word," he begged the blond.

Laxus smirked and crossed his arms but remained quiet. Evergreen suddenly stood from her seat.

"Come on, Freya. Let's get going."

I stood up and placed my hand on Bixlow's shoulder. "Goodnight, I'll see you tomorrow."

He gave a small grin and said, "Night, baby."

"Sweet dreams!"

I quietly headed out with Evergreen. At least I have somewhere to stay. I'm actually eager to see the girl's dorm. I bet it's a nice place.
