Experiment xxiii. Alone
Cramp. My feet's telling me to stop. But I don't want to stop. The wind feels refreshing and blows the hair away from my face. There were more hot and salty water coming from my eyes but I purposely ignored it.
My mind and conscience were screeching for me to go back to Minho but they were muted out. I wanted to stop thinking about his name. I wanted to escape from this place. I wanted so many things....
Finally, it was my lungs that ordered me to stop. My running shoes skidded across the floor, tripping me to the ground. I fell and let my knees hit the cement first. Explodes of pain rushed through my nerves as I felt the thin layer of skin rip.
Caressing my scratched and bloody knees, I buried my head in the gap of my chest and the top of my knees. There was silence except for the harsh breathes that I let out. Strangely, I had stopped the water from my eyes.
The more less I thought about him, the pain in my chest lessened.

I snap my head up at the three most horid sounds and scramble onto my feet. I search the walls and see it. Finally, up close. It had red mechanic eyes that illuminated in the darkness, scissor like arms with metallic legs like a distorted spider.
The machine let out a groan of anticipation or a sadistic laugh, I couldn't tell which. I whirled my head to find anything that could protect me from death at least but found nothing in return.
I was panicking now. There was nothing, absoultely nothing I could do to escape this monster. My lungs were out of energy and my legs; at a perfect period, fell asleep.
And with the remaining strength I had in my body, I staggered to the walls full with vines and camouflaged myself behind.
Hoping and praying that the monster wouldn't find me, it miraculously worked. The mechanic examined the surroundings before scattering away with its spider like arms. I clasped both my hands on my mouth and slid down the wall heaving.
There were sweat on my palms and scratches from the vines. But that didn't matter right now. I was alone. And not with Minho..
