Experiment xix. Griever
Minho stared at me, aghast. I wasn't surprised. I had just ran into the maze, probably the number one rule in the glade.
Minho stalks over to me with heavy footsteps. Pointing a finger towards me, he insults," You, are the shuckiest shuck faced shuck this whole shuck world has ever shucking had."
By using the word 'shuck' multiple times, I couldn't help but let out an inappropriate giggle. Minho raises his eybrows by the small yet alarming sound and somehow, grins at me.

It was close to dusk and the axle winds sliced my skin. I wasn't used to being outdoors since I've been working inside a factory or company for the last 4 or 6 years of my life.
Minho was ahead of me. He told me that I had to follow whatever he said if I wanted to live and get out. But what did he know? I built the maze, or so my memories told me.
I just realized this.... this fact.
I, Nike Hollister, built the maze.
An eerie sound occurs from behind. Bolting my feet, I slam into Minho's chest. He has one hand tightened around my wrist and an arm wrapped around my waist.
Not daring to make eye contact, I instinctly wait, silently. What was out here? I knew running here was a mistake but it felt like someone had forced me to run inside.
Creak
There's that noise again. It sounded almost inhumane, almost mechanical...
Without my self control, I murmur,"M-Minho..."
He pulls me tighter into his chest so that the space between us was almost 3 centimeters. But I didn't care about that right now. What I cared was about this shadow creature, walking, no crawling, towards us.
My heart pumped with fear and adrenaline ran through my veins. Hearing Minho gulp only made me even more nervous.
"M-Minho?" I utter, us cautiously yet walking backwards, quickly.
The shadow almost loomed over us and now I gripped Minho's shirt with fear. What was it? Curiousity also had invaded my mind.
"Nike, on the count of three, I'm going to give you a head start by pushing you. This thing's going to attack me, not you. I'll occupy it, for now. At least, until you get away." Minho roughly whispers in my ear.
At first I couldn't take in anything he said. Then when I fit the pieces together, the way he said, 'for now' I opened my mouth to rebel.
But sadly, as his hand pushed my back, I ran, not looking back. And not without staying with Minho.
