( before this starts i just want to let you know there will be a HUGE time skip. i mean a year time skip eventually. i will bold the time skip once it gets there but you will most likely know when it pops up. )

your pov

me and Schierke got up to head back inside. Guts was just walking out with a panicked expression. i put a finger to my lips shushing Schierke. i hid in a bush. Guts ran up to Schierke. " did you see Y/N?!" he asked. i saw a tear falling down his face. i snuck up behind him. i wrapped my arms around him as much as i could. Guts looked at me. he turned around and quickly hugged me back. " Guts, your such a crybaby!" i said playfully hitting his shoulder. " its all my fault. its all my fault." he kept saying. " whats not your fault?" i said. Guts gripped onto my tighter. " Casca, she's..." he started but he just fell to the ground covering his face crying. i just stood there in shock. i snapped out of it and kneeled down next to Guts. i ran my fingers through his hair trying to figure out how to comfort him. i just felt heart broken. i don't like seeing Guts like this. i saw Issy walk out and thats when i realized, Schierke was crying. i swear i have never seen Issy move so fast in my life. he ran up to Schierke and hugged her tightly letting her cry into his shoulder. " i have an idea but i may need Schierke's help." i said. i looked at her. Issy let go of her. i stood up and Schierke walked up to me. " what do you need me to do?" she asked. " theirs a possibility Casca's soul is still there." i started. " i can't bring people back to life." she said shaking her head. " no, i need to figure out how to communicate with her before shes completely gone." i said. " i don't know how to do that." she said. " i have a succubus that can help." i said. her eyes widened. " maybe i can bring it out of you for a little bit. she can help me!" she said. we walked inside. me and Schierke held hands while she did a spell. all of a sudden i heard a voice behind me. i looked and i saw the succubus. " its so pretty here!" she said. she saw me. we both ran into each others arms at the same time. " so umm." i said. " yeah i know. i can try and figure out how to get you into Casca's soul before shes fully gone. i got this." she said. she held hands with Schierke. " its a pleasure to meet you, Schierke." she said. " we need to share our energy to make this work." she said. " also, the names Scarlett." she said smiling. Schierke and Scarlett grabbed each other's hands. they chanted something and all of a sudden it was dark. i heard a voice. i look over. it was Casca. she looked scared. " Casca!" i yelled. she looked at me. " Y/N! oh thank god! where am i?" she asked. " well, your dying." i said. i felt a tear go down my face. " wh-what?" she said. " how am i.... how are you talking to me then?" she asked. " well, i had a little help from Scarlett and Schierke." i smiled. she hugged me. " i don't want to die." she cried. " you know what? i think you might like the after world better then ours. you'll see everybody again and, you'll have everything you've ever wanted. " i said. "but, you'll have to deal with Guts annoying butt." she said. i laughed. " I'll have to deal with two annoying butts." i laughed. she laughed with me. " maybe you'll meet your true love up there. just accept it. I'll tell Guts you said bye before anything happens." i smiled. " thank you." she said. all of a sudden it was as if she turned into dust. pieces of her started floating away. " whats happening?" she asked panicking. " Casca, your going to Heaven. you'll be fine. just remember to make sure you don't panic and accept the fact your dying. I'll always remember you." i smiled tears falling down my face. i watched as the last but of her floated away. i felt dizzy and then light erupted from around me. " so did it work?" Schierke asked. i nodded.  " i helped her get up there." i said pointing to the sky. Scarlett smiled. " sorry bout this..." she said. she turned into a fog and a huge headache came over me. i clutched my head. " it'll only last about 30 seconds." Scarlett said. i waited for it to stop. once it did i stood up. " this can not be good for the baby." i sighed. i heard Scarlett laughing. Guts walked back in and saw Casca. " did you speak with her?" he asked. i nodded and smiled. " yeah, she wanted me to tell you she said bye before she passed." i said. he nodded. he bit his lip slightly looking down. i could tell he was trying not to cry. i went up to him i wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned up kissing him. he kissed back for a few second before letting go and just breaking down. Casca was with him through everything and he had just lost that one person.

~time skip~

it was morning and we had finished getting rid of Casca's body. we had packed up and started heading out but suddenly the ground started rumbling. " Scarlett?" i asked her. " Earthquake?" she questioned. the ground was splitting and it didn't help that we were already on a steep hill as it is. we were all trying to keep our balance. Schierke started falling down the hill. i grabbed her arm and i also started falling. i swung my arm up making sure Shierke stayed up. i started falling. Guts tried to catch me but he failed and i started falling down the hill. i heard Guts tell my name but i ignored him and just focused on landing safely. once i hit the ground i looked up. i was quite a ways down. i started walking trying to figure out a way to get back up and i knew Guts would be trying to make his way down.

~time skip 1 year~

i held Ava,

in my arms as i hid under my cloak. i still hadn't found Guts but i kinda gave up thinking he was dead. knowing him he probably went through to many great lengths to find me and forgot to eat or drink or he fought to much without stopping. not even Issy and Schierke could stop him in a rage. i hid behind a tree waiting for the guys to pass. i still had my sword with me. one of the guys grabbed my arm. i grabbed my sword holding on tightly to Ava and swung it at the guy. i wouldn't let my 14 week old baby die. the guy fell to the ground clutching his shoulder which was bleeding. i just held onto Ava and ran.

~time skip~

i was walking through a town. it was getting colder and i finally figured out where i was. i had memorized the way to Rickert's house because of how many times we had been there. it was going to get cold and harder to find food, i had to be careful. i got a few bits of food. some bread and a little bit of beef. i would feed Ava instead of myself a lot causing me to go starved till i decided to eat something for once. i walked around a bit more and i realized, people were scared of me. " whats wrong?" i asked them. "don't play dumb! we know you are with him!" one of them yelled. " with who?" i asked. " the devil swordsman." she said. " why is he called that?" i asked. the name sounded like the black swordsman but the devil swordsmen was en entirely different name. " a man, in a black suit of armor and two comrades were rampaging. the little ones were struggling. but i don't think they were rampaging. they kept yelling at him to calm down." she said. i saw tears fall down her face. " can you tell me where this devil swordsman is?" i asked. she shook her head. " nobody knows where he went. he just screamed and left. he was like something from a nightmare." she said. i nodded and handed her 4 silver coins. " i don't have much but thank you for telling me." i smiled. she took the coins and thanked me. i walked away. i was in the woods maybe about 3 miles from Rickert's house when i heard bushes shaking near me. i gripped my sword and held Ava tight. " whose there?" i asked. a little bunny hopped out of the bush. i sighed and let go of my sword. " stupid rabbit." i murmured before i continued walking. it was almost sunset and i needed to rest along with Ava. we also needed to eat. i kept walking though. i gave Ava some bread every so often so she wouldn't make noise. she was a very quiet child. i was very surprised. i never heard of a child being so quiet. i walked out of the forest. i would be coming near the shed we stopped at the first time i went here. i saw it in view. i walked inside it and looked at Ava. she was shaking. i held her close to me and started making a fire. i grabbed as many wood pieces as i could and used my fire power to start a fire. i had me and Ava close to the fire. " something tells me that the Devil Swordsman might be Guts." Scarlett said. ( thought she was gone huh?) " i had that feeling too. it makes since you know how he is whenever i go missing for a day." i laughed slightly. " Rickert's house is nearby. we should get there by tomorrow after sleeping a little bit and i would have a nice place to sleep peacefully." i sighed.

~time skip~

it was morning. i had Ava wrapped up close to me. she was still sleeping thank god. i got up and stretched and i grabbed Ava. i started walking to Rickert's hut. i saw it in view sooner then i would have thought. i ran to the door and knocked. Erica answered. she smiled wide and hugged my leg like she did with Guts. " hey Erica, wheres Rickert?" i asked. " hes sleeping." she whispered. i kneeled down. " have you seen Guts lately?" i asked her. " last time i saw him was 2 weeks ago. he said hes be back soon but its been a little while." she said sadly. " oh, do you mind if i stay here till he gets back?" i asked. she nodded quickly. " yay!" she yelled. " oh shh, you'll wake up Ava." i said. she looked at me confused. i moved my Cloak slightly and showed her to Ava. she gasped. " shes so cute." she said. her eyes lit up. " how old is she?" she asked. " 14 weeks right now." i said. "Erica, who's at the..." i heard Rickert say. he saw me and Ava. "Y/N?" he asked. i smiled and nodded. " and Ava." i smiled. he walked over and kneeled down. "c-can i hold her?" he asked. i laughed slightly. i handed her over carefully. he held her and i swear i have never seen both of them so happy.

~time skip~

i had set up Ava's bed and fed her. Erica watched her and giggled every time Ava would move. "Erica, keep Ava safe. I'll be right back." i said. she nodded. i went upstairs and went to Rickert. " if you would guess where Guts would be right now, where would you guess?" i asked him. he thought about it for a moment. " i don't even know any more. ever since you disappeared hes been, crazy. I've never seen him like this in my life." he said. i frowned. " did his nickname happen to change from the black swordsmen to the Devil swordsmen?" i asked. " maybe. I've heard of a insane Swordsmen going insane but i don't think its Guts." he shook his head. i nodded and went back downstairs.

~time skip~

it was nighttime. i wasn't used to getting sleep so i sat on the bed and watched the fire in the middle of the room. i had Ava close to me because i couldn't be away from her during the night. Rickert came down. " we just got word. Guts will be here in an hour." he said. i had never been so happy in my life, but then i frowned.  "wait, got word?" i asked confused. " Isidoro and Schierke are here. he's rampaging." he said. " Rickert, watch Ava please." i said. i got everything on. " Scarlett ready?" i asked her. " Nervous but yes I'm ready." she said. i started running up the stairs. "Y/N?!" Issy and Schierke yelled at the same time. " yes its me, how long till Guts is supposed to get here?" i asked. " um, hes rampaging so maybe 30 minutes?" Schierke said. i nodded and i put my hands in a certain pose. i closed my eyes and let my energy flow into my hands. it was a calming power i learned i had. it takes awhile to do but the longer i do it the more calm the person would be, and for Guts, thats a lot of energy. i opened my eyes ready to launch. in the distance i heard something and it was approaching fast. i put my hands still in the pose slightly behind me showing a white glowing ball of energy. Schierke looked at it in awe. i saw Guts rampaging at us with a terrifying look on his face. i charged forward at him once i was close enough i shoved my hands forward making a huge white light surround him. it was loud but it would work. i put my hands down letting the white light dissolve. i fell to my knees. i heard something clink and a loud thud. i looked up. Guts was out on the floor. i crawled to him and cupped his face. i couldn't help it. i just burst out crying. i wrapped one arm around my shoulder and carefully hoisted him up. i walked carefully back to Rickert's house and i had him help me carry him downstairs. we put him on a bed and we started taking off his armor. he had several pulled muscles but no broken bones. multiple bruises. i don't think he had rest for awhile. Issy and Schierke came downstairs. Rickert started helping Guts. i went back over to Ava. "is she yours?" Schierke asked. i nodded and picked Ava up. Schierke was very interested in Ava. her eyes sparkled. " she looks a lot like Guts." she said.
