Maw was about to punch Cedonis, but ducked. Maw brought his elbows down to elbow Cedonis' head, but Cedonis charged at Maw's stomach, and headbutted him down. Maw kicked upwards, but Cedonis grabbed his feet, and threw Maw up. Cedonis flew up, and kicked Maw back down.

"Shit...how the hell do I beat you?" Maw said, already weakened.

"Don't you know. I'm literally fucking invincible!" Cedonis yelled gleefully.

"You're a monster..." Maw muttered.

"What?" Cedonis asked.

"GO GO GUM!" Maw yelled, and threw some pink energy at Cedonis. The pink energy turned into gum, and wrapped around Cedonis, trapping him.

"Arya...leave. I'll kill Cedonis, once and for all!" Maw said.

"But at what cost?" Arya asked, starting to realize Maw's plan.

"My life", Maw finished.

"I see..." Arya said.

"It'll be okay, you know I'll come back", Maw said.

Arya smiled. "Of course I do", she said, and flew away.

Maw looked at Cedonis. "At last, I'll kill you for good this time. I'll make sure you won't come back!" he said.

He gathered his energy, and it swirled around him. 

"FINAL EXPLOSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Maw yelled, and the energy inside of him, and around him, exploded. It was a massive explosion that obliterated the tower. Arya could see it, and even Virgil sensed it from where he was training.

"Maw...sacrificed himself?" Virgil asked.

"Yes", Borkio replied.

Omearc woke up, and realized Maw's energy was gone.

"Dammit, Maw's dead", Omearc said to himself. 

At the remains of the tower, there was a pink shield. It disappeared, and Cedonis appeared.

"MWAHAHAHAHA! The Go Go Gum simply helped me. I turned it into a shield, saving myself!" Cedonis said.

"Use your power, and defeat him", Borkio said, teleporting Virgil to Cedonis.

He teleported Omearc and Arya to him, and explained everything.

"Now, I have a special technique to teach you. It's called the Fusion Dance..." Borkio said.
