In Dawn's dream,Dawn was in the forest,and that she was in the middle of the forest.

It was dark outside and looked around and everywhere as she was looking for her friend,but she couldn't find him.

The young woman let out a soft gasp and she looked straight ahead as she saw Austin was just a few yard's away from her.

She looked back at him and he looked back at her as she saw that he was in his wolf form and that the moonlight was reflecting down on them as she could see him into the light.

He started walking over toward's her and then,they both ran to each other and with that,the young woman hugged him,while he was licking and nuzzling her.

Austin,what's going on? Dawn asked and that she looked at him now. You didn't leave me again?

It's okay,nothing's going on. No,i didn't. I'm here...

She hugged him yet again and that she was relieved that he didn't leave her.

The two looked at each other again and that she saw that he hasn't changed since the past,but he was a little bit big and that his fur was growing.

The young woman didn't say anything,while all she did was look down at the ground as the wolf looked at her in complete shock.

She then turned around as that she started to walk away from him.

Austin called out to Dawn,but she continued on walking witbout looking or turning back.

Dawn slowly opened her eye's and she moaned softly as she was now awake.

She was laying on her stomach in bed and that the blanket was still on her as she heard that the tv was on in the bedroom.

The young woman was about to shift up into bed,but then,she let out a soft groan as she was a little bit in pain.

Oww,why do i feel..like..i'm in..pain?

Then,the young woman knew why why she was hurting and in pain after what had happened between her and Austin last night.

Oh,my god...I-I did..the unthinkable with my own boss! Ohh,now what am i going to do? What should i do?! I-I'm still in his bed and his house,maybe..he left and went to go get something? I don't know,i'm not sure. A-Anyway,i can't stay in this bed all day,and just wait for him. I have to go and leave now before it's too late.

Just as Dawn was trying her best to get up from the bed,the bedroom door creaked and opened as Austin was standing by the doorway.

Dawn exclaimed a little loud when she saw him and to her surprise,she saw that he was shirtless and that he had his pant's on as he was wearing Blue slipper's.

Jesus,god,he's so hot with no shirt on. I wonder if he work's out? She thought to herself as she couldn't stop blushing at his muscular body. How come no girl hasn't asked this hunk out?

The young woman realized that today was Friday and that she had the day off from work today as she was glad since she was in pain a little after what had happened last night.

The two looked at each other all of a sudden and as they did,she saw that he was leaning over toward's her and that she knew that he was going to kiss her.

This all started since this morning and it look's like the wildfire's are going to be coming here soon. Austin admitted to her. I guess i really am going to be closing the public library now,now that this is happening.

The young woman covered her hand over her mouth and that she started to shake a little by seeing this on tv as Austin saw that she was shaking.

She had half of the blanket on her and that she looked down at the ground as she saw her clothe's.

The young woman's eye's wided a bit and that she let out a soft exclaim.

She looked at him and once she did,she saw that he had a concerned look on his face as she knew that he was indeed worried about her.

Thank you,Austin. Dawn thanked him and that she slowly got up off of the bed,while she held onto the wall. I think it would be best if we really did talk about this some other time,i'm sorry...

The young man came over and hugged her gently as he could feel her naked body onto his bare chest as he closed his eye's.

After that,the young woman got dressed and ready as the young man was driving Dawn back home and on the way back home,Dawn was a little bit embarrassed after what had happened last night and that all of this was so sudden,but for some reason,she couldn't get last night out of her mind.

She didn't know if she should tell her friend's about this or not,but she didn't want to tell all of her friend's because she was scared that everyone might tell Kendrick and then,Kendrick would get all jealous and mad.

Who know's,he might go on a rampage if he knew about Austin and Dawn hanging out all day at the carnival and going out to a lovely dinner.

She knew that if she kept this to herself,this wasn't good to keep thing's from your friend's,but she would soon tell all of her friend's about it.

She would tell everyone else,all except for Kendrick.

The young woman looked down at her cat plushie as she smiled and held onto it.

They were almost to her house and then,her cellphone made a beep sound as she knew that she got a text message.

Oh,sorry. Dawn apologised and that i got my cellphone out as i saw that Kendrick was texting and that i let out a soft groan.

What's wrong? Austin asked,while he pulled up to her driveway as he parked the car,and stopped the engine.

It's Kendrick,ignore. I am not texting that doofus.

The two got out of the car and that they both started to walk up to the front door as the young woman was holding onto her plushie toy.

The young man saw that the young woman was holding onto her plushie toy and that all he did was smile warmly as they both finally reached the front door.

Clearing her throat softly,Dawn turned to look up at Austin,and that he too,was looking at her as well.

Well,uh-- I-I better go on and head in,then. Dawn said and that she couldn't help,but blush lightly. I-I'll be thinking about you and..about..us,i promise.

Austin leaned over and kissed her on the forehead. Like i said,i've waited long enough,and i can wait even more even if i have to.

The young woman watched the young man walk down the step's and that she opened her front door as she stepped inside the house and locked the front door,while leaning on her back against the door.

Dawn decided to go ahead and take a shower and she did as the day was starting to roll to night.

All day today,all Dawn did was clean and do chore's,ate dinner,and she was thinking about what Austin wanted her to think about them both being a couple.

Dawn even tried to read a book like she alway's did,but she just couldn't get Austin and his word's out of her mind as she didn't know what to think about him.

Hmm? Dawn shifted up onto the couch and saw that Snowball was down by her feet and she looked down at her. Hey,you. Are you hungry? I did feed you when i came back home,but i know you didn't have dinner. So,i'll get you something.

The young woman got up off of the couch and started walking into the kitchen as her little friend started to follow her,but then,something caught the cat's eye as she stopped walking.

Dawn was getting a paper bowl to pour the cat food in and as the food was going into the bowl,she looked down and didn't see her friend.

Snowball? Dawn called out her name and that she started to walk back into the living room. Hey,where did you go?

The young woman looked around for the cat,but she didn't see her as she had her back turned to her.

Snowball?

"Creak..."

All of a sudden,somebody grabbed Dawn from behind and she let out a loud scream as she was struggling from the man's grasp.

Help me,somebody,help me!

The young woman gasped softly and saw the mirror on the wall and saw that it was a man all dressed in all Black and that he was a little bit taller than her.

She could tell that this person was Black because she could feel how strong he was by just how he was holding the struggling woman.

Somebody,please,help me! No,no!

"God,damn,bitch! Hold still!" The stranger declared at her and what Dawn didn't know,he was also holding onto a rag with chloroform.

The young woman was grasping and moving around from her grasp so much,her cellphone fell to the ground as it made a hard clatter.

Somebody,help--!

The stranger put the rag of chloroform onto Dawn's mouth and as the rag was onto her mouth,she was breathing hard,and that she could smell the horrible smell onto the rag as she was getting dizzy and tired now.

Ah...Dawn fell down to the ground a little bit hard and as she did,the room was starting to move and shift as she saw that the stranger was looking at her.

"Sweet dream's." The stranger said to her as he saw that she was slowly closing her eye's and that she was knocked out.

N-No,i-i can't..go..to...

Dawn was slowly closing her eye's and that she thought about Austin as she then shut her eye's.

Austin...

he stranger heard the young woman's cellphone ringing and he knew that somebody was calling her as he looked down at her cellphone and saw that the person who was calling her was Austin.

"Beep,beep,beep,beep."

Austin was at home and he was waiting for Dawn to answer his call,but to his surprise,she wasn't asnwering.

Maybe i'll call her again. The young man suggested and that he hung the phone up as he redialed her number again.

But,when he was waiting for her to answer the phone,she still wasn't answering the phone as he was starting to get worried.

Without hesitation,he decided to go ahead and drive to her house.

He grabbed his key's,he ran out and locked the front door as he got into the car and that he started the engine as he then started to drive off onto the road.

While he was driving a little bit fast onto the road,he thought about Dawn and he worried if she was okay or not.

Dawn...Austin thought to himself as his eye's were a little bit narrowed,while he was paying attention to the road.

After a few minute's of arriving to Dawn's house,he parked his car as he shut the door behind him,and that he was looking around to see if anything was suspicious.

He sniffed the air and as he did,he could tell that something wasn't right or up and that he was starting to think that Dawn might be in trouble.

I'm coming,Dawn...Austin ran up to the front door and as he tried to turn the knob a few time's,but the door was locked. Damn it,maybe there's another way in. Hold on,there might be a window in Dawn's bathroom.

The young man looked and walked a little bit fast around the house as he spotted the window that he was looking for.

He looked through the window and to his surprise,it was indeed the bathroom as he started to open the window.

Almost..there...! Austin struggled to open the bathroom window and then,he heard a loud click as the window was finally open and that he carefully and gently climbed down the window.

He feet touched the floor and he opened the bathroom door as he saw the hallway's,but,when he was looking down the hallway's,he saw an ominous light.

Huh? He exclaimed and he tilted his head a little as he was a bit confused by that. What on earth is that?

He then sniffed the air once again and as he did,his eye's wided a bit as he smelled fire.

Dawn! The young man started running down the hall's and as he appeared into the living room,he turned to his right and saw that the backdoor and kitchen was caught on fire.

Then,he looked down and saw that Dawn was on the ground,unconscious and not moving as his eye's wided a bit by her unmoving body.

Dawn! The young man got down to his hand's and knee's,he carefully pulled her over toward's him,and that he held onto her gently. Dawn!

He looked at her and saw that her eye's were closed as he placed his two finger's onto her chest and that he could feel her heart as she was still alive.

Sighing with relief,he continued to hold her with his eye's closed.

Dawn,Dawn,my Dawn...Austin replied softly and that he nuzzled her gently as he knew that he had to leave her house soon before the fire would come any closer to the two of them.

"Creak..."

Exclaiming a little loud and opening his eye's wide,he slowly turned around and saw that Kendrick was on his right side as he saw that the other male was looking back at him and only this time,Kendrick was looking at him with hate,envy,and that he looked like he wanted to kill him,too.

The two men continued to look at each other and Austin held onto Dawn from protection from this man that was glaring at him like this as he didn't know what was going on.

Why was he looking at him like this?

How did he get into Dawn's house?

Why was he here?

There were a lot of question's that Austin wanted to ask him,but it felt like he lost his voice as he wanted to ask Kendrick why he was here and what was the meaning of this as none of this didn't make any sense.

Kendrick...Austin replied his name softly and that he too,looked at him,while he narrowed his eye's as he gritted his teeth. What the hell are you doing here? Why are you here?

But the other male didn't say a word or anything as Austin saw that he was looking down at the ground and Austin was starting to get impatient and pissed off by this male not saying a word or anything.

Answer me! Why are you--? Never mind that,we got to get out here or else,we'll all be dead. Kendrick,listen-- We need to get out of here before it's too late.

All of a sudden,Austin exclaimed in surprise because Kendrick then looked back at Austin and only this time,the other male had a concerned look on his face as if he was putting this face up just for an act.

Y-Your right,we need to get out of here before it's too late! Kendrick declared and that he reached both arm's just to grab and reach our for the young woman. Don't worry,i can--

Don't worry-- Austin picked up Dawn carefully and gently as he shifted up to his feet,while holding onto her. I got this,go.

Kendrick started toward's the front door,he unlocked the door,and that the door was opened as he ran outside.

Austin held onto Dawn princess sytle and just as he was about to walk out,he saw the toy plushie that he won for her last night at the carnival as he pictured her holding and smiling at the prize that he won for her.

He grabbed the toy plushie and continued to hold onto the young woman as he then started to run down the step's.

Kendrick was calling an ambulance for Dawn and without knowning,there went a loud boom noise as the two men saw that Dawn's house was all caught on fire.

Austin still held onto Dawn and that he looked at the house which was caught all on fire as his eye's were a bit wide by how far the whole house caught on fire.

That's so strange,how on earth did Dawn's house caught on fire? Austin thought to himself and that he let out a soft sigh of relief.

Mmm...Dawn moaned softly and that she slowly started to open her eye's as she soon realized that she was outside. Huh,how did i--? She then felt someone holding her and to her surprise,it was Austin. A-Austin? Wh-What's going--?

When the young turned to the front of her house,her eye's wided a bit as she couldn't believe that her whole was caught on fire and then,she remembered.

She remembered what happened to her and she soon realized that Snowball was still in the house.

We need to go back,Snowball's in there! Dawn declared and that she struggled from Austin's grasp.

No,we can't!

Austin was trying his best to hold onto Dawn,but she was grasping a little bit and that they both got down to the sandy ground as he didn't want her to go back in the house fire.

You can't go back in,it's not safe!

Snowball,Snowball! Dawn was trying her best to get up off of the ground and as she was slowly trying to stand up straight,she felt a bit a shaky after what had happened to her. I-I need to go back in and save her,she's my friend!

Dawn,please! Kendrick pleaded. It's not worth it!

Dawn shouted and she was about to lose her balance again as she stumbled a little bit.

The young woman was took a few step's and then,she then lost her balance as she hit the ground hard.

Dawn! Austin called out,while going over toward's her.

I need..to go..and save...! The young woman reached her hand out and then,she slowly started to close her eye's. Snowball...

Dawn,Dawn! Austin held onto her and as he did,he saw that she had her eye's shut again as he could tell that she must have been dizzy from smelling the fire too much or that it was something else.

Then,all of a sudden,the two men heard ambulance siren's and that there came an ambulance to take the young woman to the hospital.

A few people came out of the ambulance and that one was carrying a stretcher as Austin helped the people put her out onto the stretcher carefully and that he watched her leave and go inside the ambulance.

After about a minute or two,the ambulance startes to drive off into the night and that the young woman was being rushed to the hospital.

Austin thought that it would be best if he drove to the hospital to see if Dawn was going to be okay and just as he was about to go to his car,he grabbed the toy plushie from the ground,he gor into his car,as he started to drive off onto the night road.

The young man had forgotten all about Kendrick and that he tried to ignore him as he wasn't important right now and that the only thing that was important to him was none other than Dawn.

All alone standing,Kendrick gritted his teeth a little and that he had his hand into a tight fist as he looked down at the ground.

Don't worry,Dawn...I'll come to you...Kendrick replied softly and that a smile was forming upon his face.

Austin made it to the Good Samaritan Hospital and he parked the car,locked the car door's,and he ran inside to see if he saw Dawn,but he didn't.

He was looking around and he saw a few people who were glaring,looking,and sitting as this was getting to the young man.

E-Excuse me-- Austin came up to the front desk and a young woman looked at him. Hello,i'm here to see Dawn Flores? Is she here? Is she okay?

Oh,just give me one second.

The young woman typed on her computer key's and after typing the patient's name,she found Dawn in the computer. Dawn Flores is in the E.R. right now and if you would sit and wait,i'll let you know when it's alright for you to go into her room,okay?

Th-Thank you. Austin thanked the young woman and he walked into the waiting room as he was starting to get worried. She's in the emergency room?

He thought about Dawn smiling in his mind and that he looked down as he felt like this was all his felt for leaving her all alone,but he knew that this wasn't his fault.

She wanted to be alone and think about them as he also thought about Kendrick.

Why was Kendrick in Dawn's house and how did he get in there?

Not only did Kendrick got into the house,Austin could picture and see the hate in his eye's as this made the young man cringe.

Austin thought that it would be best to call everyone and so he did and a few mintue's later,all of his friend's came to the hospital.

But,Austin saw that Kendrick was with everyone as well too,as Austin was a bit uncomfortable around him and that he couldn't trust him,either.

Austin! Holly exclaimed,while walking up to him. Dawn,is she okay?

I-I don't know..Austin stammered the word's and that he avoided looking at Kendrick. The nurse at the front desk said that she's in the emergency room right now as we speak.

Kendrick didn't say anything and that he had a concerned look on his face.

What happened? Malcolm asked,with a concerned look upon his face.

Dawn's house was caught on fire and i found her unconscious on the ground-- Austin started explaining his story to everyone. Not only did i find Dawn on the ground,i also noticed that Kendrick was in her house as well.

What? Raven replied softly,while turning to look at Kendrick. Is this true?

Kendrick saw that everyone was looking at him and even Austin as well.

Alright,what the hell is going on? Travis asked. Why were you in Dawn's house? More importantly,how did you even get in?

Why was i at Dawn's house? Kendrick repeated Travis's word's. I wanted to go and see her,of course! She hasn't been responding to my text message's and i was starting to get worried about her,that's all. After all,that's what a good friend is for.

Austin was starting to get pissed off and that he had his hand into a tight fist as he knew that he was just standing there,lying to everyone.

Everyone in the whole room looked at the two men and that everything went quiet and silent.

Kendrick gritted his teeth a little and he had his hand into a very tight fist as he started to go up to Austin.

You-You son of a bitch...! Kendrick was about to hit Austin,but Malcolm and Travis stopped him on time as he glared at his two friend's. What the hell are you two doing? Let me go! Let me go,god damn it!

Holly was starting to shake and Raven couldn't believe this as Austin looked away from him.

"That's quite enough." Said an unfamiliar voice.

Everyone turned to the front and as they did,they all saw a man standing a few feet away from everyone.

I'm sorry to disturb your confrontation,but i would like to have a word with all of you. Said the man officer as he glared at everybody and that he started walking up to everyone as he was up close to everyone. It's very nice to meet you all,my name is David Stine. I'm the police detective at the Fountain Valley Police Department.

David Stine had short,dark,Brown hair with Dark,Brown eye's to match his hair as well and that he looked to be in his thirtie's.

The detective showed his badge and information to the young adult's as they all didn't know why he was here.

Everyone intruduced their name's to the detective and that he gave everyone a warm smile as if you could trust him.

Your all probably wondering why i'm here and the reason why i'm here is because this wasn't just some ordinary housefire of the victim of Dawn Flores. David told the young adult's.

Wait,what do you..mean? Holly started to ask off slowly,while looking at the detective.

What i'm trying to say is that..this young woman's house was planted to be on fire. David informed and that he took his tiny,notebook out with along his pen. I would like to ask you all a few question's if that's alright.

Everyone agreed and nodded as the detective cleared his throat.

Why were you both at Dawn's house,then?

I wanted to know why she wasn't responding to my text message's. Kendrick told the detective.

I went over to Dawn's house because she wasn't answering my phone call's and i had a feeling that something just wasn't right. Austin told the detective. I even saw that this guy was inside her house,too.

Oh? David eyed and looked at Kendrick. What make's you say that,Austin?

Well,like i said,i went to Dawn's house because i felt like something just wasn't right.  I drove to her house and when i got out of the car,i smelled something as i then decided to try her front door,but the door was locked and she didn't answer it as that wasn't like her. She would alway's answer the front door and i decided to find another way inside. I knew that using the back door was impossible,but i found a way in.

And how did you get into the young woman's house?

I opened her bathroom window to get inside and as i entered in the hallway's,i smelled fire...I ran into the living room and as i did,i saw that the back door and kitchen was on fire as that's when i saw that Dawn was on the ground...Her lifeless body was laying on the ground and i was so glad that she..didn't..die...I thought i was going to lose her and then,i heard a creak as i turned to see him...I was so shocked and surprised to see him inside Dawn's house and when we were looking at each other for a while,i could see the envy and hate in his eye's as he indeed didn't want me to be near or touch Dawn. I don't know what his interaction's were,but i could tell that something just wasn't right.

While Austin was talking,David was writing in his tiny note pad and everyone was quite intrigued and shocked by what Austin was telling as Kendrick glared at Austin.

I'm going to be honest with you,this story doesn't seem to be making any sense,but i wanna know what you have to say,Kendrick. The detective then eyed him now. Why were you in Dawn's house and how did you manage to get in without her permission?

Kendrick let out a soft sigh and as he did,he looked at the detective as Austin wanted to know how he got inside her house.

I drove over to Dawn's house and as i made it to her house,i used her back door key to get myself inside the house. I would have figured that somebody or the intruder was still in the house as i wanted to investigate and look around,that's what i did. All i did was have my own little investigation,but i found nothing. When i was in the hallway's,i heard a loud crash noise,and by the time i ran back to where Dawn was,the kitchen was starting to get caught on fire. I tried to find something to stop the fire and i was trying to find a fire extinguisher all around the house,but no luck. But,by the time i came back to Dawn,i saw that she wasn't alone...That's where i found him,holding onto Dawn like i was the one who started all of this...

The detective was nodding his head,while writing in his note pad as Austin nodded his head no.

The reason why he was disagreeing with Kendrick's story is because he didn't believe it,he didn't believe it at all as he wanted to know what the detective had to say about this.

His story doe's make sense,but i don't believe a word this bastard say's. Austin thought to himself. I know what i saw and witnessed. For one thing,i can't get that image out of my mind...

Mr. Patterson,when you came back into the living room again,why were you looking at Austin with such envious and hate? David asked.

Why,you ask? I thought that Austin might have been the one who did and started all of this. Kendrick said and that he started to shake.

Are you saying that you hate him? David guessed.

Hate is a very strong word. Kendrick admitted. After all,i am his worker and he is my boss.

Oh,sure. Now you act all friendly and innocent like. Austin frowned,while thinking to himself. I know you hate me and that your jealous of me all because Dawn love's me and not you.

Everyone else-- David started to say. What do you all think about Kendrick? I want you all to be honest and tell me what you all think about him.

Kendrick is very friendly and nice,but it look's as though he is jealous of Austin. Holly pointed out.

That is true. Ever since Dawn intruduced us all to meet Austin,Kendrick was jealous from the very start. Malcolm added as well. Not only was he jealous of Austin,he would also try his best to ask Dawn out.

Really now? David narrowed his eye's. It look's as if to me you might be a suspect,Mr. Patterson.

No,you've got it all wrong! Kendrick declared. Okay,so maybe i wanted to go out with Dawn,but she told me that she was busy and all.

Ugh,you idiot! Raven shouted at him. You really are clueless and helpless. Dawn lied because she didn't want to date you or go out with you! You would alway's make her uncomfortable and you never listened to her. Not only you didn't listen to her,but you didn't listen or understand her true feeling's! Raven...Travis replied her name softly and that he had a concerned look on his face.

Austin and David both looked at Raven as Kendrick eye's were a little bit wide and that he was looking at his friend.

"U-Um,excuse me?" Said an unfamiliar voice.

Everyone turned and looked straight ahead as they all saw a young nurse.

U-Um,are you all here to see Dawn Flores? The nurse guessed right.

Yes,we are. Austin said to the nurse. Is she--?

Oh,yes. She's in a room right now and your all free to go and see her. My name is Karen Smith,i am her nurse.

Karen Smith had short,Brown hair and dark,Brown eye's as the young nurse was walking ahead to show everyone Dawn's room.

While everyone was walking in the hallway's,David kept his eye on Kendrick.

They all made it to Dawn's room and Dawn's room number was twenty four as everyone walked in.

Dawn was the only person in the room and everyone saw the young woman laying on her back on the hospital bed as she had her eye's closed.

Everybody saw that Dawn had a bandage wrapped around her head as Austin had a concerned look on his face.

Dawn...Austin replied her name softly,while coming over toward's her by the hospital bed. What on earth happened to you?

Well,we did a cat scan on her whole body and she hit the ground very hard as you all can see the bandage wrapped around her head. Karen informed everyone. We even did a drug test on her too,and we found chloroform on her mouth,but no other drug.

When Karen told everyone this,Austin's eye's wided a bit as he couldn't believe this.

She-She had..chloroform on her mouth? Austin stammered. Then,that mean's--

Somebody tried to attack her. David finished Austin's sentence.

But,who? Holly asked. Why would anyone wanna hurt Dawn?

Nobody would never hurt her,she never had any enemie's at all. Malcolm pointed out the truth. Dawn is a caring,naive,and sweet woman who would get along with pretty much anyone.

Kendrick's eye's wided a bit and he then looked at Dawn.

Mmph,m-mmm...Dawn moaned softly and that she moved a little as she groaned softly in pain.

Dawn? Austin slowly reached his hand out to her and as he did,he caressed her cheek gently.

Mmm...Moaning softly some more,Dawn was slowly starting to open her eye's as she could feel someone touching her cheek.

Warmth.

This touch...It's so..warm...Dawn then slowly opened her eye's and as she slowly opened her eye's,her vision was a bit blurry at first as everything was starting to get clear. Huh,wh-where am..i?

Dawn! Austin exclaimed her name.

The young woman slowly started to shift up into bed and as she was trying to shift up,she groaned softly.

Ah,my head...Dawn muttered softly and that she gritted her teeth.

It's okay,Dawn. Karen assured her. You need to lie back down and try to take it easy,okay? You gave us all quite a scare.

What do you--? Dawn started to say and then,her eye's wided a bit as she remembered what had happened to her. I-I was..i was almost attacked...

I was right all along...David thought and that he approached the young woman. Dawn Flores,my name is David Stine,i'm a detective,and have some thing's that i want to ask and talk to you about. What happened? Do you remember what happened to you?

I-I was..attacked...Dawn replied softly and that she looked down. I was attacked by someone..that i..didn't even know...I remember..being in the living room..looking for Snowball..when all of a sudden,i heard..a creak noise...

The detective was writing in his tiny note pad as he remembered that Austin too,heard a creak noise,but Kendrick didn't.

She heard a creak noise as well? Austin thought to himself. Then,that mean's..Kendrick could have been the one who tried to attack Dawn. That son of a bitch...

That's when i..got attacked by..my attacker...Dawn said softly. I couldn't..see him very well..because..he was wearing all Black and he even..had a Black ski mask on,too...I could..tell that he was..a man and then he..put..a rag on my..mouth as everything..went..Black...

Dawn,i feel so bad...Austin thought,while he had a concerned look on his face. This is all my fault,i shouldn't have left you...I know that it isn't my fault and i promised that i would protect you no matter what,but i..failed...I didn't even..save you...

E-Excuse me-- Dawn started to say. What happened to Snowball?

Are you talking about an animal pet that you had? David asked her.

Yes,well,she wasn't my pet. She was just a stray cat that i feed and named,she was also at the house at the time when i got attacked...I don't know what happened to her when i blacked out,i just want to know that if she's okay...

All of a sudden,the detective's cellphone was rining and he excused himself as he left the room.

Austin looked at Dawn,while she had her head down and then,she slowly looked up and looked over at him as she saw that he had a concerned look on his face.

Austin...Dawn thought to herself and that she slowly reached her hand out to him. You must have been so concerned and worried about me,weren't you? I'm sorry,i'm sorry i made you worry about me...

Austin's eye's wided a bit when he felt Dawn's hand onto his as Kendrick saw what she was doing.

The young man looked at his lover and that they two both looked at one another.

Dawn! He exclaimed her name and came over as he hugged her a little bit tightly.

Without realizing it,he held her gently because he knew that she would be a little bit sore after what had happened to her as she slowly wrapped her arm's around him.

Dawn,i'm sorry...

Why are you apologising for? You really didn't--

I didn't protect you and i made a promise to you that i would protect you no matter what...Do you remember the promise we made when you were little? We promised both of us that we would protect each other no matter what...I broke that promise to you and look what happened to you...You got hurt and this is all--

He stopped talking and he felt Dawn caressing his cheek as he looked at her.

Austin,please...Don't blame yourself for this,this is not your fault or anyone else's fault...Thing's happen in life that we all don't expect,that's just how thing's are,really..

Everybody was looking at the two and Kendrick rolled his eye's as he didn't like this at all.

The detective came back into the room and as he did,he let out a soft sigh as he looked at everyone in the room.

That was one of my investigator's and they did looked all around your house,Mrs. Flores-- David started to say.

And? Dawn looked at him as she was waiting for him to talk some more.

When my investigator's were investigating and looking around,they found a lot of thing's. The reason your house caught on fire was because there was gasoline all around your house and of course,the back door as well.

Doe's that mean that--?

Dawn started to ask and that she didn't want to even believe that this was happening to her all so sudden.

I'm sorry,but your house was caught on fire a lot,and it look's like your house won't be able to get fixed since there was indeed a lot of damage.

Dawn had a concerned look on her face and she started to shake a little.

I-I'm homeless,all my home,my stuff,all gone...Dawn replied softly.

No,your not. You can come live with me. Austin insisted her. You can live with me and i'll be able to get you all the thing's that you need,i promise you that.

While my investigator's were also trying to clean up the mess,they even found footprint's,too. David added as well. We're not sure who's footprint's are those,but we will be finding out just who excatly did this. You might in danger,you and your life.

This just doesn't make no damn sense. Raven admitted and that she had her arm's crossed over her chest.

No,it really doesn't,i'm afraid. David agreed with her. To be honest,Austin and Kendrick's storie's are somewhat different. Dawn has no idea who did it and both men came differently,too.

Wait,you think it was Austin or Kendrick who did it? Dawn asked the detective. That's insane,Austin would never do anything chaotic such as this!

But what about your other friend,then? David asked as he looked at Kendrick.

Dawn looked at Kendrick and then,she looked away from him.

I have..no idea...Dawn replied softly. But what about Snowball? Did they find her? Please,they must have.

I'm afraid they haven't found a cat inside the house,they haven't found a body or anything. She could have escaped or-- David's word's trailed off and that he knew that if he kept on talking,he would upset the young woman.

Tear's started to roll down Dawn's eye's and that she started crying softly,while looking down.

Austin hugged her gently and she held onto him for comfort as he could feel her shaking.

I will be talking to you all very soon and Dawn,you need to be careful,okay? David assured her. Your life could be at danger and we wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you.

We'll all keep an eye out for her. Travis informed the detective.

And i'll protect her no matter what. Austin added as well.

The detective nodded and he gave everyone a card with his number in case he wanted to call and talk to everyone one by one.

She slowly turned to look at him and that he looked at her as she exclaimed very softly.

I-I don't know what to believe...Dawn thought to herself and that she avoided her eye's from him as she closed her eye's,while Austin was rubbing and stroking her back and hair gently. I don't know if Kendrick did this to me or not...But,part of me want's to believe that he did do this and part of me doesn't want to believe he didn't do this...I know for sure that Austin would never have done this because he care's,love's,and that he want's to protect me...

Dawn really didn't know what to believe or not as what the young woman didn't know that there will be more and more thing's to come to her way...
