"Sunbae, where is Seokjin Hyung?" Namjoon's voice came from the opposite side of the satellite phone.

"Noona." Arya corrected him, "he went for checking on the farm. It is almost the harvesting season you know."

"Can you relay him a message from me?"

"Shoot away."

"Tell him that Jungkook passed the training in The Pit with flying colors."

"Really? Arya was ecstatic imagining Jin's lit-up face, "I bet he'd be happy!"

"Yes. Tell him, Jungkook placed first in the ranking. And the chief officially accepted him as the seventh member of the special joint force."

"Ok, I'll let him know," Arya agreed,
"By the way, how are you?"

Namjoon's warm laugh came along, "I am ok! Hope you are doing good too? Any further complications?"

"You know everything?" Arya suddenly went into a defensive mood.

"I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable, sunbaenim!" Namjoon instantly apologized.

"It is ok, I guess." Arya hesitated for a moment and then smiled, "It is ok. Every one of you knows I guess?"

"Yes, we do."

"I envy you guys' bonding. You all work together so well!" smiled Arya.

"You bond with Seokjin hyung the most." Namjoon pointed out instantly.

"That is not true." Arya protested and smiled, "but thank you guys for all the help."

"No worries." Namjoon stated and his tone changed, "you'll report to The Pit after you get back. Do I have to remind you again, sunbaenim? "

"No need," Arya ensured, "but why The Pit? Jin already trained me here."

"It is the instruction. You have never been to The Pit. Better gain a name for going there. Believe me, The Pit is different."

"Ok. I will."

"One more thing, sunbae." Namjoon stopped her.

"Noona," Arya again corrected him,
"Joon, I am calling you Joon as you are my junior, ok?" Arya started and didn't let Namjoon a chance to reply, "You know I hate formalities. I don't care for it and neither I want to be addressed as a formal colleague, ok? Call me noona."

"Ok, sunbae." Namjoon was a bit hesitant but still chucked, "sorry, habit."

Arya laughed.

"Tell Seokjin hyung that all the money has been transferred to places he mentioned and the anonymous donation was also made. So he should not worry about that matter anymore. Everything has been taken care of."

"What?" Arya was confused.

"Just relay the message, noona. He'll understand."

"Ok. I will." Arya assured.

"I gotta go. Take care, noona. Hope to see you soon here."

"Me too, Joon."

Namjoon cut the call and Arya looked back as Jin entered the room silently.

"Joon called." Arya looked at him.

"Joon?" Jin frowned a bit.

"Namjoon." Arya smiled a bit, "Why are you frowning? I heard you calling him that before."

Jin didn't respond.

"Well, he asked me to relay two messages. Get ready to be happy."

"What?"

"Jungkook placed first in the ranking in The Pit. And officially documented him as the seventh member of your joint force."

The expression on Jin's face was the same. But his eyes softened to a great extent almost to the point that it seemed like he was about to break into a soft smile.

"Awww...look at you!" Arya smiled, "so proud of the little brother!"

"Next?" Jin didn't ponder on the topic.

"The next message is kind of cryptic, I guess?" Arya said unsuredly.

"What?"

"Joon asked me to tell you that the money is spent well probably, just like how you wanted?" Arya frowned and scowled trying to remember Namjoon's words, "Oh...and the anonymous donation has already been made."

Jin closed his eyes as if a relief just washed over him.

"Looks like you are relieved," Arya commented inspecting Jin's expression intently.

"Stop staring," Jin dismissed her and went to hang his jacket.

"Have you had breakfast?" Jin asked pouring some cereal and bringing out the milk container from the fridge.

"I was waiting for you."

Jin went to the kitchen counter. Silently served two plates on the kitchen table, and sat down on the chair

"You are still staring," Jin reminded her.

"Tell me why are you relieved and I'll stop looking." Arya grinned,
"Jungkook is a different case."

"Why are you this talkative during dining?"
His voice didn't contain any annoyance rather just a quiet remark.

"Tell me," Arya insisted.

"I took the money which was probably being exchanged between Jeremy and Perrera to buy the Trident type III ballistic missile. Well, one girl helped me there. Her son needed surgery."

"Why she is not supporting him?"

"She died to save me. I am just trying to help out a bit."

"Can you tell me the story?"

"Nothing much. I took the money, asked Namjoon to manage that amount. A part of that money has been donated anonymously for the treatments of that boy and his raring up until he is an adult. And rest of the money has been made into a charity cause for children needing treatments."

"That is nice," Arya commented quietly. "Jin?"

"Mnn?"

"What was that woman's name?"

"Sarah."

"How was she?"

"I encountered her for a very short time, once. It is not enough to know someone." Jin indicated towards her plate, "eat up."

"Yeah." Arya picked up a toast and started eating.
Finishing the toast she again looked at him,
"How did she look like?"

"Why are you this curious?" Jin frowned.

"Just... " Arya shrugged, "I have a feeling that you'd like her if the encounter was longer. I know what you like."

"You do not." Jin's voice was mild.

"Wrong. I know."

Jin didn't answer but didn't agree with her either.

"You don't believe?" Arya challenged, smiling.

"She is dead now. So no need to analyze anything."

"Was she beautiful?"

"Yes."

"Very?"

"Yes."

Arya hid a sigh and smile, "why don't you find yourself a girl, Jin?"

Jin was fully into his meal not answering her.

"let's say you have someone you like as you said, is there any possibility I could meet her?"

"Why?"

"I am just curious," Arya grinned,
"She must be so special."

"She is." Jin agreed and looked at her.

"Jin..." Arya hesitantly started, she was having a hunch for a few days and decided to ask Jin after much consideration, "I..."

Before Arya could finish her words, the satellite phone beeped again.

"Excuse me please." Jin put down his spoon and received the call.

Someone said something from the opposite and Jin's facial expression changed a bit, "What did you find?"

The conversation from the opposite side lasted long and Jin's face went into deep concentration as a frown was slowly forming and the crease between his brows was deepening with time.

After a long five minutes, he slowly asked, "Who was it?"

Arya finished her cereal in between and was about to ask Jin for passing her the milk but she was surprised to see Jin.

He was frozen in place. His face was drained out of blood. His snowy face was even paler with an unreadable expression.

Arya was confused, what was going on?

"Jin?" Arya whispered.

Jin slowly put down the phone on the table and got up.

Arya again frowned, Jin never wastes food let alone leave food on the table.
He even didn't bother to clean up the table.

It was unofficially Jin who did everything in this house, from cooking to cleaning and the daily chores apart from Chamiyu.

"Jin?" Arya again called. Jin wasn't startled for nothing.

"Excuse me," Jin said absentmindedly and retreated towards his room.

Arya frowned and looked at Jin who was behaving not so "Jin" like.

Deciding to not bother him for now, Arya picked up the plate he left on the table and placed them into the sink. Before she ran the water over it to wash, a sound of glass shattering came from Jin's room.

The sound was so abrupt and unexpected that Arya ran towards Jin's room. What the hell just happened?

The door of Jin's room was partially open.

Arya looked inside.

Jin was standing beside his table and the tabletop was a mess. The books were on the floor and the flower vase along with the glass lamp was now broken into pieces near his feet.

Arya looked at Jin with absolute terror.
Their eyes locked for a few seconds.

Jin's eyes were blank, lips pressed against each other to form a thin line. His hands were trembling slightly and his chest was heaving with deep breaths. His face was covered with this unreadable expression that Arya was at her wit's end that what was going on inside Jin's head.

Before Arya could take a step, Jin strode towards the door and shut it on Arya's face.

Arya was surprised and afraid. What just happened?
What happened to him?

Who was it on the phone?
What did that person on the phone tell him?

She never had seen Jin like that. With so much loathing, grief, and pain in his eyes. With so many emotions.

Arya silently sat in front of Jin's door and leaned on it, "Jin?"

There was no reply.

"Come out when you feel like, ok?"
Arya continued talking despite knowing she won't get a reply, "I am not going anywhere."

Silence.

"I don't know what is going on with you, but I am here to hear out if you need a place to vent, ok?" Arya was calm.

She knew Jin won't talk about it but she had to let him know.

Arya sighed a little but was even more alerted hearing a muffled sound. As if someone was shouting with all the anger and frustration while trying to suppress his voice with a pillow.

Arya panicked.
Jin isn't like that.

What the hell was happening?

That night both of them came back to Korea.
Dropping Arya to her apartment, Jin drove off without a single word.

The whole flight, Jin was silent, calm, and composed.
He avoided any type of interaction with her or anybody.

And even now, Arya was just watching him go with no idea what to do.
