A certain Darkness is needed to see the Stars

UA is one of the most famous schools in the world. You would have to live under a rock, of rocks to not have heard about this school. Many wanted to go to it so they can become the world's next best heroes but most slip through the cracks. Then some just aren't good enough or people say they aren't. Sirius was one of them. Her appearance alone makes everyone look her way and assume that she would be destined for greatness. She was born with an animal-like body, her fur colors were found strange as no land animals on the plant had those colors. Even her parents had seemingly normal fur colors. Being from a family with animal-type quirks, she was considered very different. Even if she is different, her family loved her as any parents would.

Many people showed interest in her because of her form and colors. Many men wanted her because her body was very filled out. But because of her quirk, she had to ensure that people wouldn't touch her. Her quirk was dangerous and has taken the lives of three living creatures already, because of that Sirius has been afraid to form physical bonds with anyone. If she wanted them to live, that was how she had to live.

Many years ago when she was in her early teens, Sirius tried to join UA but was rejected because she refused to show them what her real quirk was. This was before Nezu became principal, it was around the same time that Hound Dog, a young man with a similar appearance like herself, was a student there. But since she didn't get in, she went to another school instead. There she taught herself how to enhance quirks more naturally. She became an instructor for future heroes, though she never became a pro hero, to many she was a hero to them. She helped many students through some very hard times in their lives, she even took in some of her students a few times to get them away from bad situations in their homes. Even if she wasn't a pro hero, she still saved lives.

Being a teacher was a dream for her, though sometimes things got rough. After witnessing one of her female students getting sexually harassed before four male students, her primal nature came out and she attacked the boys. Only one of them was sent to the hospital in serious condition because he tried to fight back and ended up touching her skin. Which caused her quirk to spread to him. He died three days later in the hospital. His parents wanted Sirius to be imprisoned or killed for what happened. But no one expected what came next. Not just the girl who witnessed the attack but six more came forward as well, defending her. After they reported what the boys had done to them, Sirius was released but put under house arrest. She agreed and stayed home, away from work for six months. That didn't stop her students from coming to her home so they could still learn. Afterward, she returned to work and all the students were re-informed again, to not touch her skin as her quirk is fatal.

Many years have passed since then and many of her students have gone on to be heroes, doctors, scientists, and many other things. Using their quirks to help their society to become even better. After many years teaching all across the United States, Sirius has now been invited to teach at UA. She wanted to refuse at first but her current students told her to go. Saying how those students would be even greater heroes if she taught them. She finally caved and bought a ticket, packed her things, and moved to Japan to teach natural quirk enhancement to the students of UA. It took her a week to settle into the apartment that the school set up for her. Afterward, she was ready to teach at UA. She hoped that the students would take a liking to her in Japan as they did in America. She also hoped that the teachers would welcome her with open arms. As she was walking to the campus, her parent's words echoed in her head.

"Going to Japan?"

"Are you sure you can handle that?"

"Will the school know about your quirk?"

"Will you be safe?"

They worry about Sirius a lot. Due to her quirk she hadn't been able to make any physical relationships with people, they worried about her future as a woman. Would she find someone and settle down? Or would she die, alone forever? So many times they wanted to hook her up with their friend's children, but she always refused. Saying how she didn't want to kill someone else. That boy was the third person to die from her power and she refused to let it happen again. She blocked out her parents' voices once she arrived at the school gates, she took a breath before walking in, starting a new and exciting chapter in her life.

Class-1A was just settling in when their homeroom teacher came in, looking more tired than usual. He placed some papers down and turned his attention to the students.

"Listen up, we will be having a new facility member teaching you. It is her first time in Japan, so don't cause too much trouble. Got it," he glared at everyone, they all shouted, "Yes Sir." He sighed before looking at the door. "You can come in now."

The door opened and in she came. All jaws hit the ground, she had that effect.
