"HAAAHH!!" Atsumu swung his scythe and slashed the shadow figures in halves. But the shadows would multiply once again.

"We've been doin' this for awhile!! And they still won't die! We're only makin'it worse!" Osamu shouted as he jumped backwards to escape an attack.

Atsumu gritted his teeth as he stopped attacking, only dodging the shadow figures' attacks "Then what're we supposed to do?! We'll die instead!!"

"........" Osamu thought of a plan, then he quickly said while dodging some attacks "Lets trap 'em in a barrier!"

Atsumu widened his eyes "WHAAAT?! Ye know our barriers are weak! Also! It consumes too much spiritual energy!"

Osamu frowned "We don't have a choice! We have to trap them for as long as we can!"

"WE'LL DIE FROM SPIRITUAL EXHAUSTION INSTEAD!!"

"ITS BETTER THAN BEING KILLED BY WHATS SUPPOSED TO BE A LOW LEVELED, EVIL SPIRIT!"

"Cheh! FINE!" Atsumu quickly took out an empty talisman and a brush, he began to quickly write some symbols.

"Hurry up!"

"I'm doin' my best okay?!"

Osamu grabbed Atsumu's collar and pulled him when the shadow figure almost clawed the guy.

"Dammit! Ye almost made me mess up the writin!!"

"I saved yer life!"

Osamu dragged Atsumu with him as they dodged the shadow figures attacks. If they were to die here, the shadow spirits might be break into the human dimension and start attacking! So its better to hold out for as long as they can before help arrives!

"Done!" Atsumu threw the finished talisman and then started chanting.

"ꂦꀎꊼꁴꉓ—"

Before the shadow spirits can jump on them, Atsumu opened his eyes and shouted the last sentence of the chant!

"—ꌃꎭꎇꍟꍏ...!"

An orange barrier that is enough for all the shadow spirits to fit in appeared! Atsumu panted in exhaustion as he put all his weight on Osamu.

"Hahh....That was...Hahh...Tiring...phew..."

—Bang! Bang!

The shadow spirits started to hit the barrier in an attempt to break it.

"I think ye did a good job...The barrier seems sturdy enough to last a while.." Osamu said as he was finally able to relax.

"Thats 'cause I put all my spiritual energy into it..!" Atsumu sighed..."Lets hope that Master will come here quickly.."

Shoyo ran around the school to find where Atsumu and Osamu went. He tries to sense if theres anything strange, but he for some reason can't anymore...

Its like there was nothing wrong in the first place.

Shoyo hopes that the twins are okay...

—Whoosh

Shoyo stopped running. He felt a soft breeze pulling him to a certain direction. Shoyo seemed hesitant to go....

But the wind pulled him a little bit harder causing him to stumble a little forwards. It seemed a bit persistent. Shoyo didn't have a choice but to go anyways.

He ran towards where the wind is pulling him. Until he finally enters the alternate dimension.

But, whats weird is that there was nothing there. Everything was black. Shoyo was naturally glowing, he was the only one in here.

Shoyo walked as he looked around the place. There was nothing in it, like a void. He kept walking but there wasn't any changes. Everything is still a void.

'Am I trapped here?' Shoyo questioned in his head.

He doesn't see any signs of the twins or Lev. He must be at the wrong place. And someone, must have deliberately lead him to this void of nothingness.

"...How annoying" Shoyo started. "I should have killed you when I captured you back then.."

"But clearly you didn't~ fufufu" Someone replied as their chuckle, echoed throughout the void.

Shoyo turned his body towards the person who suddenly appeared behind Shoyo when he started speaking.

"How did you escape you're prison?"

The man tilted his head "Do I have to tell you?"

"You won't answer anyways."

"Then why bother asking?" He huffed air out in annoyance.

When he suddenly got caught off guard by Shoyo's close up appearance. He shielded himself with his arms when Shoyo was about to kick him!

—BAM!

The guy flew away, he flipped himself then landed safely on the ground. He grinned crookedly when he saw his arms tremble in pain.

"Heh, that was quite aggresive.."

"Where is my student and disciples?" Shoyo sternly said.

The guy stood up from his kneeling position "I don't know?"

"Then disappear." Shoyo once again sprinted towards him. Shoyo took out his fan and swung it! Multiple slashes of wind speeded towards the guy!

The guy dodged it perfectly without any scratches. Shoyo wasn't done though! He took out another folding fan, he chanted something and vines sprouted from the ground! It grabbed the guy's arms and legs with a very strong grip!

The guy tried to free himself, but the vines tightened even more! Then thick thorns sprouted! Stabbing the guy through their body!

"Urgh..!" The guy clenched his teeth. But then he smiled "...Haha....Wow, you never hold back do you huh...."

Shoyo raised his fan. Magic circles surrounded the guy, blades with symbols on them appeared and the magic circle began to glow, it was being activated. Then he swung his fan down!

The blades stabbed the guy and the magic circles blasted a strong thunder bolt towards him!

—BOOM!!

Smoke covered the area while Shoyo panted softly....

"Hahh....Huhahh...Haghhh..." Shoyo wiped a bit of his sweat. "Now, I'll have to find my student and disciples.." Shoyo turned around and he began to walk away.

"Oh no you don't."

A whisper was heard by Shoyo's ear. Shoyo widened his eyes when suddenly he felt like he was being electrocuted by a thousand volts and being stabbed by hundreds of swords through his entire body!

Shoyo coughed out a worrisome amount of blood.

"..Ugh!...Gasp!...Urghh!...Hahh..." Shoyo wobbled forwards.

But the guy grabbed Shoyo's hair tightly that some strands might be pulled out. Shoyo let out a pained groan.

"...Urghhh.."

"You think you can walk away thinking that you won huh?" The guy said as he tightened his grip even more.

Shoyo glanced at the guy who was covered in all black....All parts of his body was dyed in red. Shoyo can't even focus his gaze at the guy because of how much blood he was losing. He tried to heal himself but for some reason he can't!

"...Y....You..." Shoyo then realized. "...Dark A...Aura....? Cough..! A plenty amount of...Of it, as well...."

Shoyo weakly grabbed the guy's hand that gripped his hair. "...H...How....Did you...Learn the E...Evil cough! Arts...?"

"U..urghh....That book...Was su..supposed to be s...sealed...off..."

The guy grinned crookedly. "But I stole it though"

Shoyo was so sure that the book of Evil Arts was sealed off somewehere with a very strong protection magic! Nobody can break it that easily! The Grandmaster also kept it in check! So its impossible that this guy stole it!

Unless.....Unless...

He stole it a very long time ago...Where he used to be part of their group...Part of the masters...Part of the leaders...

Shoyo's hand weakened as he let it fall on his side. "....Why....Why are you doing this...?"

The guy tilted his head while his eyes was a look of loathing. "........."

Then he smiled fakely "Just 'cause!"

"...Is it...Because of...The H..Higher beings...? That...Cough! They weren't able to save you're si— URGH!"

Shoyo was punched on the gut! Shoyo coughed out even more blood. Shoyo gasped for air as he clenched his stomach in pain. He was about to pass out right now...But if he passes out, Shoyo doesn't know if he'll be able to wake up again..

"Shut up. She's. Alive. She isn't dead. She isn't!!!" The guy shouted with a crazed look.

"She's just sleeping! Because she's been working in the fields for so long, she took a nap! Thats it! Thats it! She's just sleeping!" The guy smiled happily.

Shoyo looked at him with empathy....Even though this guy is crazy...Theres a reason why he's like this...

'.....You were a poor human boy back then..' That was Shoyo's last thoughts before closing his eyes.

He heard shouting and fighting, and someone calling his name. But Shoyo lost his consciousness...
