Trying not to puke from pain, i look up, vision blurred.

Dai is fighting Melodie it seems, and even though Melodie is suprisingly holding her own, sasuke and kakashi helping, we won't last.

Zabuza was an A-rank. We barely beat him.

Kakashi uncoveres his sharingan. What's that gonna do?

We are going to die.

All of us.

But, we might as well try, right?

Groggily casting 5 bunshin, i send them with exploding tags to aid Melodie, while i charge up for ice senbon.

The bunshin only last a couple minutes, but that's to be expected.

I'm fullt charged! I smile as i cast all 12 hand signs, making sure my hands don't tremble.

"ICE SENBON!!!" i yell, making thousands of ice sebon materialise out of nowhere and make a beeline straight for DAi.

I smile in releif as Naruto uses ice senbon to injure Dai quite a bit.

"I'M NOT THROUGH YET!" he growls, casting handsigns so fast i can hardly see, then his kunai grows longer into a sword that is radiating with heat.

'If that touches me.." i couldn't finish my thought because he charges at Naruto-kun.

Using wind to speed me up, i dash over there and stand infront of him.

I close my eyes as he lunges at me.

I'm dead.

I wait for the blow but it doesn't come, so i open my eyes.

There, infront of me, Melodie had taken the blow.

Without even pausing or showing any signs of suprise Dai simply moves onto kakashi, who at least can hold his own.

Blood dripps onto my jacket.

'Naruto-kun, i'm sorry, i'm ruining your jacket!'

'Nah, it's ok'

Thank you.. a lot'

My face pales as the gravity of the situation hits me.

She falls down onto the ground.

"Naruto- kun?" i hear her whisper.

"M-MELODIE!" i gasp, tears running down as i crouch beside her.

"Why.. WHY?!" i sob.

She just smiles weakly at me.

"Become hokage for me, ok? Put lillies on my grave please, and-"

"STOP TALKING LIKE YOUR GONNA DIE!" i scream.

Her face softens.

"Naruto- kun. I'm glad i met you"

"Why do this for me?"

"WHY? ANSWER ME!"

"TELL ME WHY!"

My cries fall on deaf ears.

I look at her peaceful face.

Her eyes were closed.

She wasn't moving.

She was dead.
