Rithvik was driving through a road, and saw that Dhun was standing at the roadside. She is standing near a roadside Dhaba, looking at Rithvik, dressed in a pair of jeans and a top. There were a few people at the Dhaba eating food and all.

Rithvik stopped his bike, looking confused. Dhun smiled at him. He got down from his bike and took off his helmet. "What happened? Why are you here?"

"You wanted to touch me, right? Then touch me..."

She held out her hand. He smiled and took her hand in his hand. And stepped closer. "What is this? Why did you have to meet me at such a public place?"

"Why? Is this touch not enough?" She smiled.

They keep holding hands. "How did you come here?"

"Just..." She said looking at him.

"Well, now that we are here... shall we just eat something from here?"

Dhun looked around. "Sorry, there is no time for that."

"No time means?"

Dhun left his hand and silently take out something from her pocket. It's the time turner. Rithvik immediately searched his pockets for the time turner. "It is not with you."

"No. How? I had it with me till just now. I could feel it in my pocket." He looked up at her. But then Dhun suddenly was standing a few steps away from where she stood. It was like she teleport-ed to a few steps away. And now there was no time turner in her hand. Rithvik was super confused.

"Eh...What did you do? Did you just time pause?" He asked.

Dhun stared at him with a strong and deep expression. Rithvik looked around himself and then at Dhun... " Eh...what's happening?" Rithvik did not understand, "Rith, I am sorry." She said. He looked at her confused. "For what...?"

"I am really sorry."

"For what? Tell me."

But she just stepped back into the road and walked backwards into the road. Rithvik was confused. But before he can react, a car came from the opposite direction really fast and hit Dhun. Dhun's body collided with the car and fell on the body of the car and then rolled down to the floor.

The helmet fell down from Rithvik's hands and he went frozen for a second. The car stopped. And some other vehicles passing by stoped as well. The people eating in the Dhaba got up and ran to the scene. Someone running hit with Rithvik's shoulder and ran past. That is when Rithvik's senses come back. He ran to her body. Dhun was lying on the road, covered in blood in places. Rithvik was horrified. He knelt down beside her. She was still conscious. With shaking hands and terrified eyes, Rith lifted her up to his lap...

"No..." He screamed.

Dhun looked at him.

"NO... WHY?????" He screamed again.

He cried, wailing... Blood was spreading over Dhun's jeans. She struggled to speak up. "There is something you don't know. Something I did not tell you." She said. She was having difficulty talking. People were gathering around them. They were whispering among themselves. Some had grabbed the driver of the car. Some were trying to get help and call the ambulance. Dhun talked with difficulty. " Don't hate me for that when you know."

"Dhun... Please... No. Why did you?" He cried, but then suddenly got his senses together, "Where is the time turner? I can reverse this."

Dhun was struggling to keep awake. "Dhun no...Please. Dhun..."He cried. Dhun opened her eyes. Look into Rithvik's eyes.

"I am sorry. Really sorry." She said.

"WHY DID YOU????" He roared in anger.

"I did not do this because of you. That's the truth. Believe me. I did it because of something else. You will soon find out. Hope you will understand my choice."

And she couldn't talk anymore. She was in real big pain. Rithvik was crying. "Dhun, no... Baby, please..."

Dhun closed her eyes. "DHUN! Wake up. You can't do this. Where is the time-turner?" He searched through her clothes and his own clothes frantically. But he failed to find it. He shook Dhun who was falling unconscious. "Dhun... Dhun come on. You can't do this. Please... Please..." But Dhun closed her eyes and fell still.

Dhun was wheeled into the Emergency Room of the hospital Rithvik's mom worked in. Rithvik stayed looking at her. She was bleeding too much. The doctors came to Rithvik and explained her conditions, but he was in too much of a shock to hear or register what they were saying.

Dhun was taken into the operation theatre immediately.

After a while, his mother, Sameera ran to Rithvik.

"Mom," He called

"Are you okay?"

"Mom, Dhun..."

"I am getting to her. Don't worry. She will be fine. They said there is no head injury. So it should be fine."

Rithvik nodded. "Stay here, okay? And don't worry. And inform her family."

"Okay..." Sameera walked in.

After a while, his mother came outside. She was looking way too worried.

"What is it, Mom? Is it really bad??" Rithvik asked her.

Sameera folded one hand and holds up and the other in a fist, really thinking and trying to get things together. "Mom, say something... If something happens to her, I won't be able to live." Sameera looked at her son. "Mom, please..."

Sameera stopped and stepped closer to Rithvik. "Rithu, You've... You've got to hear this calm, okay. Dhun is pregnant."

"Excuse me?"

"I mean she was pregnant. But she is miscarrying now."

"Preg-? Pregnant?" He could not believe his ears.

"We don't have a doubt about who the dad is, right?

Rithvik was horrified as the situation dawned on him, " Mom?"

Sameera looked away and shook her head as she is overwhelmed by the seriousness of the situation. "Ah... I don't know. I don't even want to deal with the situation. Even I can't believe it..." She said.

Rithvik who had gone totally frozen in staring down at the ground blankly.

"She is miscarrying. That too in a bad way. Her uterus has suffered a major injury in the accident. The accident would not have been this fetal if she had not been pregnant. Now she has lost too much blood. Her vitals are not good. It's a tough call." Rith looked up. "I have to get back to the OR... She waited and thought for a second. "I will get back to you in a while." She turned to go out of the room. Rithvik who was still in a daze called her just before she goes out.

"Mom..."

Sameera looked back, "Save her..." His tears fell. "Please..."

"We will try our best." She walked out.

Rithvik walked out of the room, looking really listless and dejected as Ansh and Roli came running through the corridor. They spotted Rith and came to him. Ansh was by Rithvik's side at once. "Rith..." Ansh touched Rithvik's arm. "How did this happen?"

Rithvik looked at both of them blankly. "Ansh... Ansh nodded and stepped closer."

"Please help me."

Rithvik and Ansh were there at the roadside where Dhun's accident happened. Dhun's blood was still there on the road. But Rithvik seemed to be searching for something. Rithvik looks really lost but he is searching under the bushes and stuff around the road. Ansh was confused.

Rithvik moved on to the Dhaba and searched around its premises, under the cane beds and chairs and stuff. The Dhaba was closed now, and lights are turned off. And the owners were not around. But Rith was still searching in all the places he can search. Ansh was really concerned. "What are you searching for?"

Rithvik turned to him. "Ansh, help me find it."

"Find what?"

"It looks like a small pocket watch. Golden colour. About this big." he held his fingers in a circle. "It must be somewhere here. She did not have it on her. She was holding it and then she was not. It must be here." Ansh was super confused. "I need to find it."

Rithvik started looking for the time turner on the ground. Ansh was confused. He was just standing still. "Rith, what are you doing?"

"I have to find it."

"Rith, your girlfriend is in the hospital fighting for her life? Why is finding a bloody watch so important right now? Why are you being this way?"

"Get the hell out of here if you can't help me." Rithvik turned to him angrily.

"Get a hold of yourself. Dhun might be dying." Ansh said clutching Rithvik's shoulder.

Rithviik went pale. "Let's head back. This is not the time."

"I won't let her die."

"You can't do anything, Rith."

"No... No. I just have to find the time turner." Rithvik pushed Ansh off, "then everything will be fine." He turned around and kept looking around the place.

"Get a hold of yourself, Rith. Have you gone mental?"

Rithvik just ignored him and kept searching. But obviously, he cannot find the time turner. Ansh just kept looking at Rith not knowing what to do.

Later Rithvik sat at the roadside looking defeated. Ansh stood leaning to a post looking at him. Ansh's mobile rang. He took the call. "Yeah, aunty..." He listened to what she said. And hung up and look at Rithvik. "Get up, let's go," He said to Rithvik. "Dhun is out of danger. She is safe as of now."

Rithvik jumped up. He had tears of relief and happiness. Ansh walked to him and took him into a hug, and rubbed his back. "I...She..." Rithvik did not know what to say.

"I know... I know, Rith. I understand." He patted his back.

"Let's head back." Rithvik backed off from him and nodded.

Ansh and Rithvik walked back to the hospital, and in front of the ICU, Dr Sameera was talking in a serious tone to Dhun's father Girish Mathur. They stopped talking as Rithvik comes. Roli was standing nearby as well.

On the site of Rithvik, Mr Mathur's jaw clenched and he walk forward to Rithvik and gave him a tight slap. Roli and Ansh gasped. Sameera is startled as well. But Rithvik did not try to defend himself. He looked back at Mr Mathur with defeated, guilt-filled eyes.

But satisfied with his punishment, Mr Mathur went off to a corner to cry. Rith just turned away. Roli walked to Rith and Ansh.

"They are saying Dhun can never be a mom again," Roli informed them.

Rithvik looked at her in disbelief. He turned to look at his mom. But his mom did not give him a positive look. She just sighed and disappeared back into the ICU.

Dhun opened her eyes on the hospital bed. She seemed to be alone in the room. She looked around. And saw Rithvik is standing at the door of the room, leaning to the door frame, with his hands crossed. Rithvik noticed her waking up, and surprised, turn to her, letting his hands down. She blinked at him. Rith just stared at her for a second and then get a thankful expression, and turn his head away and step out of the room.

Rithvik stood with his back pressed to the wall near the door of the room, outside the room. And had tears in his eyes. Tears of relief. He wiped his eyes. Sameera comes along the corridor. He looked at her. "She is awake now, mom."

Sameera nodded and walk into the room.

Later, Dhun's father also came in and hugged his daughter.

A couple of days later, Dhun walked out of her room with the help of crutches. She was looking around and found Rithvik seated on a bench. He had not visited her once after she woke up. She walked to him. He looked up. "Why are you sitting here?" She asked.

He got up.

"Are you angry with me?"

Rithvik looked around avoiding her eyes. Hesitating and guarded, Dhun continued, "Should we break up? Is it better that way?"

He looked back at her. "Why?" She shrugged. "Is it because you can't have babies anymore?"

"No. Because you are really really mad at me right now. That's why." Rithvik looked away. Dhun continued, "You are not even looking at me."

Rithvik looked at her. "Where is the time-turner?"

Dhun remained calm. "Why? To change this??"

"Then? To just keep things this way?"

"Don't change. This is what I choose."

Rithvik cynically laughed and looked away. "This is what you choose? This?"

"Yeah. I told you... I did not do it to save you. I did so as I can breathe. It was a very very selfish decision."

Angry tears formed in his eyes. "Yeah. Totally."

"It's fine if you want to break up with me. You can."

Rithvik did not say anything. "Bye then..." She turned around and went back to the room.
