It's late August, and I'm spending the end of the summer of 2007 alone, in my parents Café. Working on this goddamn journal. Not with my friends. Which is great.

I've decided to take a mechanical engineering course in college. I'm moving into my dorm room tomorrow. My roommate is named.. like, Bumbo or something.

It's gonna be really weird not seeing Wels, Jevin and Hypno everyday. Wels is studying music in college, and Jevin is studying architecture. Hypno is doing structural engineering, so we're actually on the same campus but still…

It's a big change.

I'm gonna miss writing crack lyrics with Wels and playing Volleyball with Hypno. I'm gonna miss my friends drawing on my arms while I'm asleep.

Astonishingly, I'm even gonna miss Jevin telling me how to ask people out.

Which I'm getting too.

I promise.

And I know this story seems to be coming to a quick end, and I know there's so much that hasn't been resolved but--

(Ugh spending three years in Creative Writing has made me talk like an English Teacher…)

Whatever.

At least I know my friends will read this. I know they've been curious about what I've been working on, and about why I needed their journals... and honestly, I feel like reading this together will...

bring us closer.

Hopefully.

Hopefully it'll keeps us close. Even after this chapter is closed and the book is over. Looking back on old memories will keep us close..!

But what about making new ones.

I've always thought everything important would happen in highschool. Last four years of school and the age most main characters are at in stories? Obviously it's when all of the major plot plays out.

Obviously, now that we're graduating this story ends.

..but not everything is finished. Not everything important has played out yet.

For one, I haven't asked Hyp out yet.

Which means my story's not done.
My story's not done, and we've got a lot of time before it is.

So somewhere, someone better get out a pen. And they better start writing.

Because maybe Highschool wasn't the whole story.

Highschool was just the beginning.
