Chapter 7: You're X-Men

All the chaos stopped as Alyssa, Janos, Erik, Storm, Jean, and Scott all stopped using their powers. Elsewhere, Psylocke simply got up and left the area while everyone regrouped. Jean later woke up Charles, who passed out from the event.

"Charles, do you know where you are?" Moira asks him.

"I'm on a beach." He responds tiredly, "In Cuba. With you." He directed the last part at Moira.

"What beach?" She asks.

Charles was silent as he restored her memories of the past events he had repressed from her. "I'm sorry." He finally says, "I should never have taken those from you."

Kurt then suddenly woke up, yelling and interrupting the moment. "What did I miss?" He asked after calming down.

There was a small bit of laughter among the group at this.

"We won." Janos simply answered, putting his arm around Alyssa.

Some time later, the group was able to leave and return home. Moira returned to the CIA, all with her new information and determination to help and protect the mutants. The school was also reopened after Jean and Erik rebuilt it with their powers. Alyssa and Janos were also happy that Angel was alright, thanks to Jubilee. Angel of course wanted to know what happened, and the two gave her an abridged version of the story. Meanwhile, Storm approached Peter, who had is broken leg in a cast and had to walk on crutches for a while.

"Mystique told me he is your father." She says, referring to Erik. "Are you gonna tell him?"

"I might." He responds, "One day. I think for now, I'm just gonna stick around here for a while."

"Me too." She responds.

Many months later, there was a meeting in the new training room for the X-Men. Peter, Jean, Scott, Storm, and Kurt all stood in a line, and with new suits, watching Raven as she paced back and forth, addressing them. Hank, Alyssa, and Janos stood a ways behind her, all suited up as well.

"Forget everything you think you know." Raven says, "Whatever lessons you learned in school, whatever your parents taught you, none of that matters! YOu're not kids anymore. You're not students. You're X-Men."

Hank then pressed a few buttons on the panel in front of him, and the room darkened. The kids turned to see the wall behind them open, and some of the old sentinels walked out. Peter lowered his goggles, lightning danced on Storm's fingers, Kurt growled, Scott turned on his new visor, and Jean took a deep breath as the sentinels approached. The first of many long training sessions for the new X-Men team had begun.

A/N: Finally, the long overdue final chapter of The Four Horsemen is here! Thank you guys again for sticking with me though this series. I have one more book planned to wrap things up, but I am going to take a break and focus more on my other projects before I start it.

Until Next Time!
