We walked over to the skate stand and got some skates, me paying for it all. The guy looked surprised at how many of us there were, but got the skates none-the-less. We walked over to the skating arena and in record time Sky and I had our skates on. Alexander, Hercules, and James struggled with them, so Sky went to work on teaching them how the buckles and strings work. Washington watched from behind and soon enough he understood how to do it and put his own on. Thomas still couldn't put his on so he was getting mad.

"These motherf-"

"THOMAS!" I shouted. He looked up.

"My.... Thing isn't cooperating," he said, showing me the skate that was on his foot, but had laces and buckles everywhere.

"I got it," Sky laughed, skating over and getting on her knees. She untangled the laces and buckled the buckles to his liking. Thomas was embarrassed that he couldn't do such a simple task himself, especially when Sky looked up from what she was doing to talk to Lafayette while still fixing his skates. "Is that good?" She asked.

"Yes, thank you," he replied.

"Woah, Jefferson said 'thank you'? Surprising!" Alexander cried. Jefferson glared at him. "I bet you can't skate."

"I bet you can't either," Jefferson snapped back.

"I bet I can!" Alexander yelled, standing up but almost immediately sliding. "Shit- See! I'm standing!" His legs were a little wobbily but he could stand.

Jefferson stood up as well, but his legs were way too wobbily and he almost immediately fell, but caught himself on the rail. He put his hands out and Sky started laughing. "What's so funny?"

"Y-you look like a baby giraffe!" she giggled. Thomas immediately turned bright red and glared at her. Baby Jack started laughing from Washington's embrace when he saw Thomas. "Embrace the giraffe- hey, can that be your nickname? Giraffe?"

"Yeah, I like that," John laughed. "Jefferson the giraffe!"

Washington stood up with grace and skated over to Sky, impressing everyone.

"How the hell-"

"I watched how Sky skated and tried it for myself. It's simple enough," he chuckled, still holding Jack. The little boy was clutching Washington's neck and laughing at how fun it was when George would skate. It was honestly super cute.

"Just rub it in..." Hercules said as he tried repeatedly to stand up. The king tried to stand up and immediately fell, getting a lot of laughs. I helped Aaron up and he wrapped and arm around me, keeping himself up. I chuckled and put my arm around his waist, helping him stand. He had a small smile on his face, since he found it funny how no one could stand on their own anymore. He looked insanely handsome.

"Hey, Sky!" Yelled a voice. Sky turned around and Jefferson put his hands on her shoulders, keeping himself up.

"Ben!" she laughed. He smiled and skated over, looking at all the struggling men. "How've you been?"

"Eh. Okay, I guess. Stupid school," he said.

"Yeah. That's true. Why did they give us three projects due on the same day?" Sky asked.

"I don't know."

"This you're boyfriend, Sky?" John asked teasingly.

"N-no!" She cried, turning red. Ben also turned a bright red and rubbed his neck.

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out... Play some games? Laser tag?" Ben asked nervously.

"Sure. Can I go, AJ?" Sky asked.

"No," Jefferson said teasingly, wrapping his arms around the kid's neck. "No boys."

"Stop that, Thomas," I chuckled, pushing him off Sky gently. He fell onto the seats because his skates slid out from under him and everyone laughed. "Course you can go, kiddo."

"No kissing," Aaron ordered, patting her head. Ben turned redder than his hair and we laughed.

"Whatever..." She said. "Come on." She grabbed his wrist and started over to the Tornado, which was a virtual reality ride. I laughed when Samuel made a heart with his hand and Alexander made kissy noises.

"You guys are horrible," I laughed. "Come on, we can go skating." I showed them how to skate and Laf, Sam, John and James caught on almost immediately. It took Aaron, KG, Jefferson, Alex, and Hercules a little longer to get the groove of it. Hercules was clutching Lafayette's arm, John had his arm around Alex's waist the way I had mine around Aaron's, KG was holding onto Samuel for dear life, and Thomas was shrieking and falling everytime James would let go of him for him to try to skate on his own. We were all having a great time skating when three boys started laughing at the founding fathers.

"Gay!"

"Faggots!"

"Cocksuckers!"

They were laughing and taking pictures. I started to get angry. No one disrespects my boys like that. I skated out in front of them and crossed my arms. "Who the fuck do you think you are?"

"Who do you think you are?" Asked a boy.

"I'm their friend. Those are my boys. They are not faggots. They are not cocksuckers. Sure, they like men. Is it any of your business? Didn't think so. Now, why don't you move the fuck along?" I said.

"You bitch!" The boy yelled, going to hit me. Aaron had taken off his skates, getting ready for a fight, and jumped in front of me, catching the boy's fist in his hand. The guy looked shocked that Aaron did that.

"Don't even think about hurting her if you want to live another day," Aaron glared. The boy jerked his fist away. "And those are my friends. They're brave for being open about they're sexuality. What's wrong with being gay? Is it a sin? Oh, it is, huh? Well, I'm sure Hell will open it's arms to us, won't it? Plus, if we're sinning, won't Satan be okay with it, since he's the biggest sinner? Yeah. Thought you wouldn't reply. So why don't you take you and your bitch friends and go get fucked."

All three boys had nothing to say and skated away. Aaron slid his skates back on and wobbily skated to me. Alexander gave him a giant hug, pushing them both to the ground. "Oh shi- hey!" Aaron yelled, laughing a little. "W-watch it!"

"Thanks for standing up for us," Alexander said. I gave Thomas and Lafayette side hugs and kissed their temples.

"No one makes fun of my boys," I said, taking Jack into my arms. "Come on. Let's skate some more."

Sky's POV

I love the boys to death, but they just embarrassed me in front of my crush. His name is Ben. We've been friends since 3rd grade and, even in 8th grade, I still like him. Not friend like, like-like. Its embarrassing.

"Which one do you want to ride?"

"Uh, the cave. Is that okay with you?" I asked. He nodded and smiled. Wow he has a perfect smile.

"Yeah," he clicked on the button and swiped his card. "I guess I'll be the gentleman and pay for the ride."

"Thanks, Ben," I smiled. We started the ride and the moment we flew onto the wood rails I started laughing.

"What's so funny?" He asked.

"It's weird!" I giggled. He laughed with me and soon the ride was over. I stood up but got dizzy and almost fell. Ben caught me and we both started blushing. I brushed it off with a laugh and started over to the air hockey table. "Wanna play?"

"Sure! I'm gonna win anyway," he bragged. I stuck my tongue out at him and picked up a striker and turned on the table. "First to ten?"

"Yeah," I smirked. We started the game and I scored the first 6 goals. "Ready to surrender?"

"Never," he said. Then he started to kick my ass. He scored 9 goals before I could even get another one. Damn, he is gonna win! "Ready to surrender?" He mocked.

"Never!" I cried. He scored the last goal and threw his hands up in victory, dropping the striker. "Dang....."

"Told ya I would beat you!" he smiled, jogging over.

"I'll beat you at basketball!"

"Probably, but you're on!" He cried, running to the basketball goal. I scored every goal but two and he scored maybe two. It was hilarious (and handsome) to see the awestruck look on his face when the buzzer went off and he saw my score. "No fair! You're on the team."

"And you're on the ping-pong team. That and air hockey are similar! Count it as payback!" I laughed. "Come on, I'll go get the guys and we can play laser tag."
