Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth:
Humans and monsters.
One day, war broke out between the two races.
After a long battle, the humans were victorious.
They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.
Many years later...
After the war Legends say that those who climb mountain never return.

"I don't remember why I went to Mount Ebott,

I don't remember anything at all,

I don't remember my life on the surface but there is one thing I do remember though,

One and only one,

All I remember is a name thats all.
One single name it haunts me to no end because if feels like I have heard that name so many times, why?

《CHARA》

Whats so significant about that name?"

That's all I thought as I fell in to the underground back first because I knew I had been here before but it was like I had been there in a dream. I had turn around to see what was going to break my fall but before I could flip over I hit the ground HARD. So hard that it made me pass out. By the time I woke up it was dark and the moon was over head it was a full moon I could see it from the hole I fell thought in the mountain. I checked my watch that was on my left wrist and the watch said it was 12:13 p.m. I then stood up while popping my spine then I start to strech my body because it was sore from the fall I had then noticed my black jacket I was wearing had a few holes in it and I said in aggravation,
"Are you freaking serious, come on, I liked this jacket to thats a shame really it is"

I then let out a deep sigh then called out in a loud tone,
"Hello!?!?! Is anyone there?!?"
I then heard a sound a few feet in front of me and I walk towards it.
To my suprise it was a tiny sun flower that had eyes and a mouth it turned to me and in a happy tone the flower actually spoke to me,
"Howdy I'm Flowey, Flowey the flower, your new to the underground arn't chu?"
The fact that the flower could talk threw me off quiet a bit I kinda wanted to turn around and walk away. But I stayed then I replied,
"Sup Flowey, it's ice to meat you my name is Michael and yes I new to the underground"
Flowey then quickly replied,
"Alright puns can only take you so far but since your new to the underground let me show you how things work around here, I guess little old me will have to do, are you ready? Well here we go."

I heard a noise and all I saw next was
Four box's in front of me and a floating heart in a box above me but the heart was a platinum color which confused me at first. Along with my name to the far left I then saw a "Hp" bar it also has some numbers next to it the bar the numbers say "20/20" in the middle of the four buttons there was a big box but it wasn't filled only the outer rim was a color it was a bright white color and in the middle of the box was a ♡heart♡. Then a "LV" with a number 1 next to it on the left side of the "Hp" bar. I then looked at the buttons infront of me, one said mercy, another said fight, one said act and the other said items Flowey then says me,
"Michael in this world everything is based on how much LV you have obtained from the monsters you encounter here in the underground throughout your travels"
I then calmly ask him,
"Heya Flowey what does LV even stand for is it like level or something? I mean thats how it is in most video games..."
Flowey then looked at Michael will confusion,
"Ugh... Buddy what are you talking about?"
Michael chuckled to himself,
"Oh nothing just the boys and girls that are reading this at the moment probably understand what I'm talking about"
Flowey was even more confused at this point but he shrugged it off then went along with the programs.
Flowey then exclaimed,
"No silly, LV doesn't stand for level it stands for love I thought you would have known that?"
I then noded,
"Alright then, what ever you say Flowey I trust you"

All of a sudden my body is pulled right behind the platinum heart then flowey explains to me that the heart is my soul and the more Love I collect the stronger I will become. So a few flower pellet showed up infront of me he then said,
"Catch the friendliness white pellets, ok Michael"
I did as he asked but when they hit me it hurt more then anything you could ever imagine and I looked at a bar that said "HP" was only at 1. I look at Flowey and he yelled at me,
"YOU IDIOT IN THIS WORLD IT'S KILL OR BE KILLED!!!"
I then look around me and I am surrounded by the Flower pellets. And they were headed straight towards me I start to freak out then Flowey yells,
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! NOW DIE!!!"
I then freak out and my soul turns blue and my eyes glow and I yell,
"NOT TODAY!!!"
The pellets freeze and I break out of the fight and it freaks out Flowey because he has never seen anyone break out of a fight. Well at least not without fleeing or showing mercy. I then walk up to Flowey and he can't see my face then he tries to smooth things over by saying,
"H-h-h-hey there Mikey, Michael, pal He-he-he y-you wouldn't hurt a Flower right?"

I then bend over and pick him up then pull him out of the ground. I then go back to the place I fell. I remember I landed in a patch of gold flowers so i make a flower crown and Flowey was in the front then I placed the well made flower crown very gently on top of my head,
"No I wouldn't hurt a Flower but I am taking you with me out of this place because honestly I like you Flowey you small as well as adorable"
Flowey lashed out,
"I WILL KILL YOU!!!!!"
I replied very calmly,
"Yeah, yeah I know"
I then started to walk out of the darkness adventuring deep into the underground.
I walk in to a hall way with two stair cases leading to a single door and red rose petals where everywhere. I see a light it looks like the north star I walk over to it then I ask Flowey,
"Hey Flowey what is this thing?"
Flowey looks at it,
"Touch it and find out" he says
So without thinking I touch it then a text pops up and it says,

I look up at Flowey confused but I then say,
"Lets just get out of here"
Flowey replies in a sarcastic tone,
"Alright then, what ever you say BOSS its not like I have a say in the matter anyways"
I look at him confused but I walked up one of the stair ways then through the door. We walk in to a room with pressure plates and I sigh then say,
"Is this a freaking puzzle"
"Yes it is Michael" Flowey replied
They looked like they haven't been used in a long time but it was still easy to figure out the puzzle so I did then went on my marry way.

The door had led to a hall way with switches in the room and there was a path and they were labeled I flipped the switches then stayed on the path. The next room we came apon was empty only a funny looking dummy in the room I just passed buy showing it no mind but I walk back then pushed the dummy over. In the next room I then encounter a Froggit and I entered a fight with the Froggit like I did with Flowey. I was bored as well as tired so I hit the fight button and the Frogget turned to dust then text popped up that said,

* You earned 20 XP and 5 gold.

I then saw my Lv went up 1 it said my Lv was now 2 but I didn't care about it. Then I processed on the we came apon river with a puzzle in the center of the room it was all spikes I just swam the river around it and kept going the next room was a LONG hallway. I kept going though because I wanted to find someone anyone (well flowey doesn't count as a person). I walk into an area with a room to my left and to my left side a few feet away another Froggit. To my right another long hallway but I saw another pile but of rose petals with another one of those north star things floating above the pile. I walk over to it and touch it then another text box thing pops up this time it says,

I then turn around and had the opposite way of the hallway then I see a little pedestal in the center of the room. Around the pedestal are rose petals shaped in to a box the wall behind it was covered in vines and to the left as well as the right there were to streams of water leading in and out if the room. The pedestal had a bowl full of "Monster candy" in it so I took as many pieces as I could then turned around and left the room back to the room with the north star along with the Froggit. I walked down the crooked path away from the Froggit and the north star as well as passing by two more rose petal piles. I turned left then headed down a narrow hallway but the floor didn't feel right it felt loose. I walked across the loose floor then when I reached the middle of the floor the ground beneath me collapsed and I fell,
"AHHHHHHGGGGAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"
I then suddenly hit the floor and I was on a entire row of rose petals strewn across the floor reaching one side of the room to the other. Also I saw two more doors one to the left then the other was on the right I then said in aggravation,
"Ugh...when will all these wall and puzzles come to an end?"

I got up then when through the right door and I was back in the room with the loose door. The only difference was I was on the other side I smiled a little bit then I turned to my left and walked through the opening. Then came to a large room with spikes separating the two sides of the room with a hefty looking rock and a pressure plate. I see a tablet on the wall I go and I read it the text box pops back up this time it says,

It made me laugh a little bit but I then walked over to the big rock then pushed it on top of the pressure plate. The spikes retract into the floor and I processed on ward. Then I found a room with loose floor again but it was way bigger then the last one. I get though first room no problem,
"Hey Flowey?"
"What is it?"
Flowey said in a smart alick tone,
"Can you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"Shhhh!!"

When we had left from the last room to the next one there was three rocks and three pressure plates in the room. There was also a a bridge covered in spikes at the far end of the room but under the bridge was a stream. In the stream me and Flowey found a cardboard floating in the middle of the river next to the bridge but there was a sound coming out of the box it sounded like it was scared as well as sad,
"Nyaaaaa!?!?!~~"
I took off my jacket then my shirt and I spun my shirt in to a rope. Then held both ends of the shirt and threw it just far anough for it to wrap around the box. I pulled the wet soggy box out of the stream and I open it up to my suprise it was a little cat girl. She was so scared so I held my hand up to her and I let her get familiar with my scent,
"Hello little one my name is Michael I am not here to hurt you~

A little while passed and she stared to warm up to me a little bit. She stared to trust me it was so adorable she put her face in the palm of my hand and was smiling and meowing at me it was so cute I had to capture the memory so I took a picture my cell phone it was cracked to hell. But the camera was perfectly fine (surprisingly).

After I took the picture I asked her with a very kind and soothing tone,
"Hey little one do you know where your mama is?~"
She looked at me for a moment the shook her head then she started to sneeze and I remembered I forgot to dry her off. I take of my jacket and I dry her with it,
"Oh, I am sorry little one let me get you dry, ok? Oh yeah I need a name to call you by? But whats a good name? How about......Maria?"
She shook her head,
"Huh how about.....Jasmine?"
She shook her head faster I then let out a deep and long sigh then I think of a good name,
"Hey little one!!"
She looks at me a little spooked but she looks deep into my eyes with a confused look,
"How about I call you Lucy? Do you like that name?"
Her eyes sparkle and she jumps on to my chest. I quickly react and catch her then she rubs her face in my chest. I can feel her purring and I gently pet her,
"Alright now lets get out of this room, ok Lucy?"
She says at me with her little fangs poking out of her mouth because she was smiling so much,
"Nyaaa!~"
Flowey then rolled his eyes at us the smarted off by saying,
"Oh my god, if they keep this up I am going to vomit"
I look up at him,
"Flowey shut up!!!"
Lucy then hissed at him Flowey looks at Lucy and scares her by smiling at her very creepily then let out an evil laugh Lucy was digging her face in my chest. She was shaking extremely hard the Flowey said,
"Hehehe scaredy cat"
I then pull off one of Flowey's petals and I do it initially to hurt him. Flowey yells,
"HEY WHATS THE BIG IDEA YOU IDIOT!?! YOU TORE OFF ONE OF MY PETALS YOU SICKO!?!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!"
"No being mean to Lucy do you understand Flowey?"
"Uh-huh yeah sure what ever"
"I will repeat myself once and only once to get it through you thick your little head of you."
I grab another petal off of Flowey and I pull except it isn't hard anough to tear it off,
"Do you understand?"
Flowey was freaking out,
"Y-yes I understand you freaking psycho!!!!"
I let go of the pedal and I smile,
"glad we got that cleared up"

I was holding Lucy close to me and I pushed the three rocks on to the pressure plates one of the rocks started to yell at me when I picked it up. I just ignored him and paid attention to Lucy gently petting her. She was in my wrapped up in my jacket which I turned into a sling to hold her while I did the work to solved the puzzles. So the spikes retracted in the bridge we then walked across into a hallway like room there was a table on with a plate on it the plate had cheese on it. On the left side of the table there was another north star thing. Across the room was a mouse hole all you could see is two glowing eyes that were inside the hole. I walked over to the north star and I touched another text box shows up it says,

We left the room and came apon a hall way with a pile of rose petals in the middle of the room. There was only one problem though there was a monster laying down in the middle of the pile pretend to sleep. I was rather confused because the monster was a ghost. I thought to myself,
"Now why would a ghost try to pretend to sleep? As a matter a fact why would a ghost even think of the idea to sleep?"
Then there is a break from silence that was in the room by a phone someone was calling the ghost. The ghost answered the phone call,
{" h-hello t-this is Naphstablook calling who i-is this?"}
He said it in a ghost like tone I could bearly make out who or what was calling from the other side of the phone that "Naphstablook" had. I heard were three names "Sans", "Papyrus", and "Mettaton" I wondered about those names for a while. But he then revealed the name of who was on the other side of the phone her name was. "Frisk"

I knew in the pit of my stomach that I had heard that name before but the real question is where? Napstablook the put his phone away then disappeared.
"Huh? I guess that Frisk person who ever she is had to ask for a favor from Napstablook?"
I walk through the hallway very carefully there where two ways out if the room. I could keep going straight or to the left I decided to go left. I enter a hallway with a sign and there were three Froggets in the room I passed by them all. I didn't care for what they had to say at this point I just wanted to be out of this maze. I found a room with certain parts of the floor being flimsy and paper thin there were spike blocking the exit of the room I took a deep sigh,
"Flowey can you get us over the spikes please?"
He looked at me and a big vine burst out of the ground. It destroys the spikes,
"How about we go through them?"
I nod,
"As long as we get out of this place I am good for anything"
In the next room there are pillars and switchs there is a blue switch next to the closest pillar to me I press it Nothing happens. I go into the next room and it looks like the room I was just in but turned I see another blue switch I press it to my suprise I heard the sound if spike retracting I walk through the exit. And it was a copy cat of the last room but turned again I decided to press a switch that was red I then left that room. The next room was just lake that last but yet again turned. So I decided to press not the red, not the blue, but the green switch. And sure anough it worked I then left the room. I see a hall with two ways to go I walk dragging my feet because I am exosted from all the work I found a house in the left hallway and a dead tree I walk up to the door.
I then collapsed.
The door opens.
And I hear a voice.

"A Child?!?!..."

As my vision quickly faded to black....
