Armin's POV

I stood up quickly and screamed at mikasa. "Mikasa ! You can't take them all on!" I felt tears rum my eyes. "Even if you killed a few there's no where left for you to run !" I yelled at her. "Who ever deals with Eren deals with me. I'll take on the entire regiment if I have to. I don't give a damn what they throw at us" mikasa replied. "Have you gone mad ?..." Brynn asked, disbelief lacing her voice.

"Look, this isn't the only way ! They're just scared they don't understand what's happening ! We need to clam down and just talk it out" I said, trying to calm her down. "One more time ! The you human beings or Titans ?!" The captain screamed at Eren and Brynn.

I glanced back and saw them look at eachother. Then they looked at the ground and back up. Together they screamed "we're human !". There was a long pause of silence. I heard the captain whisper something to himself as he raised his hand to signal the cannon fire. Oh god.. this was it..

"Armin! Head for the wall! Pull Brynn to her feet, I've got Eren ! " mikasa yelled, dropping her swords and running to Eren. I ran to Brynn and pulls her up, getting closer to the wall. Suddenly Brynn gripped my arm tightly. She was looking towards mikasa and Eren. Eren and Brynn ran to eachother. They linked arms, bit their hands and suddenly smoke surrounded us. We felt them slip away from us. I coughed and gagged form. The smoke as I heard cracking and felt light thuds on the ground beneath my feet. As the smoke cleared slight I looked around. We were inside the skeleton and partial muscle lare of a Titan. It looks like one body but the higher I looked I saw at the top the rib cages split, two heads were on top, both with exposed teeth and one eye. One with normal teeth and the other with sharp teeth. There was a arm extended in the direction the cannon fire came. It looked like two arms, one slightly skinnier then the other, twisted around eachother and the hands completely blown off.

I stared at it in horror. Bone fragments fell on us as it slowly cracked.

Eren's POV

I opened my eyes. I was surrounded my muscle and bone. I pulled as hard as I could to free myself. When I got out into the open are it felt like the skin was welded into my hand. I pulled and pulled desperately to get out. When I was finally free I looked I front of me.. it looked like the back of head. I stared at it in confused. I glanced and saw Brynn beside me, leaning against what looked like the back of a Titans neck. There was a spiral bruise up her arm, like it has been twisted around something, yet it quickly disappeared as she stretched her hand slowly making me gasp slightly in surprise.

"Need a hand mate ?.. you look like you've seen a Púca" she said to me. Having no idea what she was talking about I nodded. She grabbed my hand and pulled me over to her side which had less skin. We climbed down the ribs and ran to Armin and mikasa, my eyes burned from the smoke.

"Hey are you guys alright ?" I asked, allowing noticing the giant Titan skeleton disintegrating. "Eren.. Brynn.. how'd you- " Armin tried to ask, he looked like he'd been crying. "I don't know ! But look it's already starting to vaporise like the body of a Titan, let's get out of here" Brynn said at him. I walked forward in the smoke slightly. I could barely see but I could tell there were still soldiers out there. "I can't tell if they're watching and waiting or if they're totally dazed but it doesn't matter much either way. I'm sure once the smoke clears they'll resume the attack.  After they've seen this we've blown any hope of reasoning with them" I looked at the key around my neck.. "the cellar. I'm starting to remember. This key. Our house in shinganshina, my father said I'd have to go back there, everything hinged on it ! I think that's why he gave me the power to transform.. if I can make it back to our cellar I can learn the Titan's secrets ! " I yelled. Anger bulged through my veins. I hit one of the ribs making it crack. "Why did he keep all this secret ?! How many scouts have died because my father didn't share this information ?! It could be the last chance humanity had ! And the masers been hidden away under our house this entire time ?.. is he insane ? Damn him.. " I said. I felt someone out there hand on my shoulder. "Mate calm down.. anger won't solve the problem" brynn's voice told me. I shrugged her off only for her hand to replaced by mikasa's. "Eren. We have other buisness to deal with" mikasa told me. I nodded and we all moved closer to the clearing smoke. The Titan body collapses giving us more time.

Brynn's POV

We all kneeled down. We were silent as we tried to think of a plan. Suddenly eren looked up with a dark expression. "Listen I'm getting out of here" he said. "What?" I asked him. "Where? and how ?.." Armin asked after me. "Anywhere but here. Then I'll head over the wall and straight to shinganshina. But I'll have to become a Titan again. Brynn will come with me, I need all the Titan power I can get." He said. I looked at him in disbelief. "You can transform at will?.." Armin asked. "I think so.." I muttered. I looked down at my hand.. I didn't remember much but I do remember buying it before I got out of the skeleton a few minutes ago..

"To be honest I don't know how I'm doing it Armin. I just know that I can. It's hard to put into words but it's like reflexive see. In that moment my mind subconsciously focused on stopping the cannon ball. I'm assuming brynn's did the same. That's why it's decaying. It only had the endurance to meet that task. Next time I'll be stronger.. I'll be a 15 meter high Titan killing machine just like I was before" he said his tone getting deeper. Suddenly an agonising pain filled my head and it hurt to breath. I coughed into my sleeve and saw blood. I looked up and saw Eren now had a nosebleed.

"Your nose is bleeding.." mikasa said. "Both of your breathing is erratic and your pale. Something's wrong, Your not well!" Armin said.

"As things stand our health is irrelevant" Eren said. "Don't put words in my mouth Eren.." I said to him and I wiped blood off my lips. "But I have 2 ideas..  you two could make it out of here alive if you stop trying to protect us.. we've brought you nothing but trouble as it is.. I'm doing this on my own from this point forward.. I'll only except brynn's help.. she's in the same situation as me so it's understandable.." he said. I nodded slowly in agreement. "I amn't dragging you two to hell with me. You stay here. Live your lives."
