Brynn's POV

I sighed. Armin looked lost for words. "Eren. I'm coming to" mikasa said. "What?" I ask, not even getting a response. "No way" Eren replies, venom lacing his tone. Almost making him sound threatening. "I plan to follow you wether you give me permission or not" She tells him. I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose out of stress. "I swear, I'll never leave your side" She finished. "Mikasa stop it I'm being serious here! I'm not your little brother and I'm not some snot nosed toddler !" Eren screamed at her. I noticed Armin was silent, staring past us at nothing. I gently shook my friends shoulder. "Armin?.. Armin you Ok?" I asked. I got no response. I tried again. Still no response but he looked at me. I heard mikasa and Eren arguing again. I mostly blocked it out but I did hear Eren say "if you rememeber I said I had 2 ideas". I saw him look at Armin, making him snap out whatever daze he's in.

"Armin. I trust you to make the right decision" he said. Armin straightened himself up and looked shocked, not able to form words. I glanced at my friends. "Now hear me out" Eren began. "And I'm aware of how unrealistic this plan is. The base case scenario me and Brynn try to use our Titan abilities strategically, under military direction. This might sound crazy but if you think you can convince the garrison regiment, right here and now, that we present no threat to them, I'll trust you and we'll go for that option. That's my seconds idea. If you font think you can get it done then my last resort is the first idea. you've got 15 seconds to decide " Eren said to Armin. I heard then cranking the cannon to turn and re load it. I nudged mikasa and tilted my head in the direction of the cannon. She simply nodded at me, hopefully getting what I was implying.

"Think you can get it done ?"

"I'll respect your opinion either way" Eren told Armin who was frozen in shock.

I heard a loud click, it echoed through the air meaning the cannon was ready.

"Eren" Armin began, still in shock.

11....

"Why would you leave such an important decision up to me ?.." He asked. Eren smiles.

"Because you always keep a level head. You make the right decision no matter how ugly something gets."

"I think That's worth relying on." Eren told him.

I practically saw the bossy of confidence Armin got. I hope it's enough..

Armin still looked a bit unsure and surprised. "When have I done that..?" He asked.

"Come on you do it all the time." Eren began.

5....

"Take 5 years ago. If you hadnt run and gotten mr. Hannes for help, mikasa and I would have been eaten by the Titans." Eren told him.

Armin gasped slightly as if he'd come to a realisation.

Suddenly the spine of the Titan skeleton shattered and fell, but Armin didn't even flinch.

Armin looked like he was about to cry. I couldn't tell if it was out of happiness or fear.

"Armin. Our times up. " I said to him. Suddenly he stood up, his face darken yet determined. "I'll convince them. Trust me. Oh three just act as non aggressively as you possible can, Agreed ?" He smile sand nodded. He strode out of the smoke, the most confident I'd ever seen him in the 5 years I'd known him. He dumped his odm gear and started to run. The naive captain screamed threats at us threw the smoke. I barely saw the outline of Armin raising his hands so they didn't shoot him.

"Eren And Brynn are not foes to humanity! We are willing to cooperate with military command and share everything we've learnt about their powers!" Armin yelled at them. "Your please fall on deaf ears ! They revealed their true forms, and because of that they cannot leave here alive ! If you insist they're not an enemy of ours then show me proof ! Otherwise we'll blast them back to whatever nightmare they crawled out of!" The captain screamed. I looked at Eren. "Trust him,. It'll be fine" he told me. I nodded slowly.

"You don't need any proof ! The fact of the matter is it doesn't matter what we perceive him to be ! " Armin told them. The captain screamed/asked "what?!". Please Nail this bud.. "there reports say hundreds of soldiers saw them! And those who saw them say they saw them fighting other titans ! And that means they say the titans swarm them as well! The titans see them just as they see any other human being, as their prey! And it doesn't matter how else you may look at it! That is an irrefutable fact!" Armin yelled. Murmurs broke out through the crowd of soldiers and the smoke cleared enough for me to see them, yet I was at a good distance with Eren and mikasa so they could see us.

The captain looked shocked. "The Titan's behaviour has always been beyond our comprehension! I wouldn't put it past them to assume human form ! T-they're speaking our language in an attempt to deceive us! I refuse to let this behaviour go on unchecked !" He screamed, suddenly every soldier was armed, staring at us in terror. Armin looked back at us.. his face said he was sorry.. as if he's failed us. We all just have him looks that told him we trusted him, that he can do this.

He gritted his teeth and turned back to the garrison, saluting them and yelling "I am a soldier ! And I have dedicated my heart to the restoration of humanity sir! Nothing could make me prouder then dying for such a noble cause ! If we were to use their Titan abilities and combine it with the man power we have left I believe we can do it! We can retake this city ! For humanity's glory and what little time I have left to live, I will advocate their strategic value !!" Armin said. I practically felt my heart breaking out of my chest with anticipation. We watched in silence, keeping an eye on every twitch or subtle movement the soldiers made.

I saw a soldier start to talk to the captain, maybe persuading him to our favour. But the terrified man will never listen.. he yells at him to be quiet.. he slowly raises his hand. Mikasa slowly reaches for her sword, Eren went to bite his hand and I got ready to run and grab Armin, my teeth practically about to pierce my skin. Just as he was about to swing his hand back down, giving the signal and we were about to act out all our actions, someone grabbed his wrist, in the shocked silence I heart a voice say "that's enough".. Pixis?..
