Brynn's pov

The high commander cleared his throat and straightened his glasses as he began. "So. Your names are Eren Yeager and Brynn Hunter. And as soldiers you have sworn to give up your life when called to, for the good of the people. Is that correct?" He asked. "Yes" Eren replied and I simply nodded. "As an enlisted soldier during a time of war military docterant demands your tribunal be held as a court martial. As commander of our armed forces this is left to my discretion. Thus I will decide wether you live or wether you die" he said.

I couldn't help but gulp slightly. I trusted my friends and 'family' but the military police are powerful. They can control votes and even how much water people drink. They could decide our deaths quickly..

"Any objections ?" He asked, probably seeing my scared look. "No sir.." we replied in unison. "Let us proceed. As expected covering up your existence has proven quiet fruitless. And unless we publicly disclose your existence we risk the outbreak of widespread civil unrest. The choice must be made. And the regiment that takes custody of both of you will determine your fate. The military police or the scout regiment. To begin the military police will now present their case" the high commander finished. I cursed under my breath.

"Thank you!" The commander of the mp's began. "My name is Niel Dock. I am commander of the military police. Our recommendation, following a thorough examination of their physiology, subjects Eren Yeager and Brynn Hunter should be exposed of immediately." He stopped for a minute and looked right at us. Oh you mother fucker.. " we acknowledge that both Yeager and hunter's ability took part in pushing back the latest Titan excursion, but as previously stated their mere existence is creating a rebellion Of undeserved sentiment. For the greater good, after we have gathered all the information that we can from them, we would have them made fallen warriors of humanity" niel said. "Eren... if they do win I want you to promise me something..." I whisper. "Yes ?..." he replied. "If you get a chance to escape, do it. Forget me and run for your life.." I tell him. He reluctantly nods.

"Unacceptable!!" A familiar voice screamed. Oh dear god why is the lunatic wall preacher here ?.. nick began "this mere vermin's existence has defiled the wall..." and he drones on and on but I eventually stopped listening as I got a bad feeling. A very bad feeling. "That's enough. And now I'd like to hear the scout regiments plan" the high commander stated making nick shut up.

"Yes sir" I heard the familiar commanding voice of Erwin say. " as commander of the survey core, i, Erwin smidth propose the following. Let Eren and Brynn join our ranks. We will reinstate them as a full member of the scouts. And we will utilise their Titan abilities to retake wall Maria. That is all" he said. The bad feeling didn't go away. Something was going to happen. I could practically feel the tension. The high commander hummed in confusion. "Is that it?" He queried. "Yes. With their assistance sir I'm sure we can reclaim wall Maria. Ergo I believe our top priority is perfectly clear." Erwin said politely.

"Quiet bold. Assuming you were given clearance where do you plan to launch this operation from?" The commander asked. I tuned out his taking to focus on Eren. He looked furious. Like anger was boiling in him. As people bickered amongst themselves about the gates and how we should it shouldn't seal them Eren didn't even flinch. "Eren?.. cara?.." I asked but he didn't respond. Suddenly he reacted to something. I followed his line of slight to Levi. I relaxes remembering he was there. "While we're bolstering our defences do you think the titans are going to stand idly by ? And when you say we can't afford, are you sure you aren't referring to your fat merchant friends? Do you pigs even realise how much people struggling to survive on what little land we have left?" Lebi asked in his monotones voice. He never liked merchants. When ever I asked when I was younger he told me to ask my mom. Now he says nothing.

"I'm simply saying sealing the gates is the only guaranteed option we've got!" The merchant yelled back in defence. "Hold your tongue you vile belligerent heritic!" Nick screamed at him. "Are you suggesting that us lowly humans mess with wall rose a gift to us from on high?!" He screamed. "Who builds walls amadán? Oh right! Humans." I said put loud. I felt Levi glare at me but I hoped it shut nick up. It didn't. "The wall is a miracle ! It's divinity goes past even human comprehension! Don't you understand ?!" He screamed. And then started to ramble again. I sighed and rested my head against the pole I was tied to the ground by. It helped my wrists and ankles relax a bit so I wasn't losing limbs from the lack of circulation.

I closed my eyes and listened to the noises around me. I heard the sound of something snaking off the height stand infront of us. "Order ! I ask that you save your personal sentiments for a more appropriate venue. Now then mr. Yeager and Ms. Hunter" the high commander said, catching my attention enough to open my eyes. " I have a question for you. As a soldier you have made a soldem pledge to answer humanity's call. Can you still serve while controlling your ability?" He asked. "Yes!" We both blurted out.

"I will sir!" Eren continued. "Is that so. But this report from the battle trost contradicts you statement. Just after transforming you seem to have made an attempt to crush Mikasa Ackerman while Brynn showed control but in the first time she transformed she tore everything she saw into threats. Her teeth makes were in some bodies that had been trapped in those Titans." He said. Eren looked shocked. I'd almost forgotten that myself. Trying to stop him.. and before that wondering about the strange taste in my mouth.

"And who is this Mikasa Ackerman?" He asked. "Me sir. That would be me" Mikasa replies. "Alright then. Is it true that Eren Yeager assaulted you while he was in his Titan form?" He asked. Mikasa was as she stares at us. Eren Looking confused. I just nodded at her. Hoping she understood what I meant. "Yes.. all is that's true" she said. Everyone started to whisper about Eren and I looked at him with guilt. He looked horrified. "However. He also saved my life twice before that. And in each circumstance he was using his Titan ability. The first, shortly after trust fell, i was nearly killed by a Titan but then Eren came. He stepped in and protected me. The second time he & Brynn sheilded Armin and me from cannon fire. I employee you to take these factors into consideration" Mikasa said almost in a begging tone making my heart almost break.

"Objection!" Niel began. Oh no.. why now you rick prick?.. "I have reason to believe that personal feelings play a large part in her testimony. Let the record show that Mikasa Ackerman was orphaned at a young age. And was subsequently taken in by the Yeager family. Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman, ya the tender age of 9, dealt with 3 adult kidnappers by stabbing them all to death! Granted this was done in self defence, all the same one can not help but question the violent nature of the act! Knowing all of this should we really invest in him? And what about Brynn hunter ? She has been a criminal known by the mp's from a young age. She was also orphaned young and survived the Titan attack in shinganshina, in her own words, 'by carrying a knife and stabbing what ever came near me.'. Knowing all of this should we really invest in them? Money! Manpower! Perhaps the very fate of us all!" Neil yelled. Then everyone began to panic again. They pointed at Mikasa claiming she was a freak and we were titans disguised as children and teenagers to gain people's trust.

"Now You holds on second ! We may be monsters who you want dead but leave her out of this !" Eren yelled. I nodded in agreement. "She's innocent!" He continued. "Like we'd trust you!" A person from the crowd yelled. I gritted my teeth and yelled back "It's the truth!". "She must be one if you protect her" another person said. Eren pulled against his chains and screamed at the top of his lungs "STOP IT!!" Even making me flinch and the clang of our chains echoed making everyone stare. "Your wrong... about it all! But your so intent on pushing selfish agendas.. your blind to what's infront of you..." Eren half whispered.

"What do you mean?" Niel asked. Don't fuck this up Eren.. "what does it even matter ? Most of you haven't even seen a Titan. So why are you so afraid huh?! There's no sense in having power if your not going to use it to fight!" Eren yelled. Wait why do I heat footsteps?.. "If your too scared to fight for your lives then fine, let me do it! You... you're all cowards ! Just shut up.. And out all your faith in me!!!" I screamed. Everyone stares at him in shock. I could still hear footsteps.

I heard an order he shouted and the click of the gun but when I went to glance at whoever was walking over I got a knee to the face. I heard my knife break and I could taste the blood training down into my kisses mouth as I gasped in pain but tried not to scream so they wouldn't freak out and shoot, only to be kicked in the stomach and knock more wind out of my lungs and make me hunch over with blood pouring off my face. That kick felt way to familiar.. Levi?..
