Ethan

A/N: First of all, this is not a cliché story, so if you want to read that schist, you have come to the wrong place. Of course, you are an absolute idiot if you want to read that. Just saying.

You will not find any Percabeth, Jasper, Caleo or other ships which are usually shown. We are here to present to you all the other ships including but not limited to: Chrisse, Gruniper, Tratie, Frazel. Don't like. Don't read. If you don't ship those, you are a babbling bumbling baboon who needs to head straight to Azkaban. Like, right away.

But don't feel the hate...just feel the death glares of us fangirls.

Let's get started and, no, it's not going to start with hello or hi...

Disclaimer:

The characters belong to Rick Riordan, as do the PJO and HoO series.

Ethan looked down at the river just beyond his feets. The black water was swirling around and send one clear message: Go away!

Ethan really wanted to follow the advice, he really did, but he also knew he couldn't back out. Not now.

"Doesn't the water looks a little bit, I dunno, dangerous to you?" Bianca asked, gesturing wildly with her hands, a nervous habits of hers. Ethan didn't blame her, after all she was the one of the three demigods who was least likely to choose reborn. She had never tried to destroy the world and had nothing in the past to right. Maybe except leaving her brother, but he could still see her now, so by choosing reborn she was actually leaving him...

Gods knew what that girl was thinking.

Luke shrugged. "It's an underworld river, the whole point of it's existence is to be dangerous."

"So are we just going to jump in it?" Ethan asked, not really sure on how the whole jump-in-a-river-and-get-reborn-thing worked.

Luke snorted. "You sound like Percy."

Ethan hadn't exactly meet that guy under friendly circumstances, so he had never experienced the guy's famous obviousness, but he had heard enough from Elysium to know that it wasn't exactly a good thing to sound like Percy. "Gee, thanks," he said sarcastically.

"No problem. So, on the count of what?"

"Not three, thanks," Ethan said, he had enough of the expected- a different number would do way better. Plus, there was three gods, fates, you get the idea.

"How about five?" Bianca suggested.

"Good idea," Luke agreed. "You?" He asked Ethan, who shrugged like why not? "Okay," Luke said. "One."

"Two," Bianca said.

But instead of continuing the countdown, Ethan stopped. This was maybe his last time where he still could remember this life. And there was still one thing he had to do before he lost his memory. Like a last check on that bucket list. "Bianca, I like you. Just so you know."

Bianca's eyes widened, as if she hadn't considered that opinion. "What?"

He took a deep breath and repeated himself: "I like you."

Bianca's black eyes started to swirl with anger. "And you are saying that now?! Ethan, I have known you in about a year, and the few second before I forget my life you choose to say that! Ethan Nakamura, I swear--"

Luke coughed, effectively cutting of Bianca. "Well, this is awkward."

Bianca and Ethan glared at him, like seriously, dude? Luke coughed again sheepishly. "Continue, but you're gonna kiss anyway," he said in a matter-of-fact way.

Ethan raised an eyebrow. "And you know that of experience, right?" He asked.

Luke smiled sheepishly. "Maybe. But go on, you guys." He gestured his hand forward.

Bianca sent him an unsure look, the wind blowing her silky black hair away from her face. "Well, okay then. Ethan Nakamura does there exist a worse timing than that?"

"Right after we jump, yeah."

She sent him an annoyed look. "Sometimes you are so annoying! I don't believe why I even like you!" She exclaimed.

Luke laughed. "So you like him, just like he likes you!" He sang- a bit immaturely, in Ethan's opinion.

Ethan sent him a death-glare. "Not helping."

"Right. Excuse me. Go on and kiss." He gestured his hand suggestively and stepped back away from the river. "Don't leave me waiting. I need to put this on the scrapbook."

That, may Ethan silently note, wasn't helping. It was now Bianca's turn to send him a death glare, which, now Ethan thought about it, seemed ironic, because they were, well, already dead.

"So..eh...should we continue before the Furies comes to check up because we are to slow?" Ethan suggested.

In reply, Bianca turned to him and grabbed the front of his shirt, kissing him and effectively shutting him up. Frozen for a second, he kissed her back, putting his arms around, melting in her kiss, feeling the little happy dance he did in his stomach, the way her hair felt against his hands.

Luke let out a shout of happiness. "I was right!"

Ethan ignored him. He was going to enjoy this moment with Bianca, no matter how annoying Luke was at this moment.

"You are going to find me in your next life, right?" Bianca asked.

Ethan nodded. "I promise on the River Styx."

"Well, let's all find each other then! How?" Luke asked gleefully.

Bianca nodded. "I promise on the River Styx that I will find you. Both of you. No matter how annoying you can be.."

Luke snorted. "It's not you who had to look at you two crushing at each other. Seriously, how obviously can you be!"

Ethan rolled his eyes. "Well, quit the complaining and do the promise."

Luke sighed. "So if we get reborn, do I have to look at you two crushing at each other again?"

Ethan and Bianca shared a look.

"Yes," they said in choir.

Luke smirked, "I am going to miss you guys, but I swear at the River Styx that I am going to find you again."

"Group hug?" Bianca suggested.

Luke shrugged like Why not?

Ethan nodded. And soon they were in the middle of a group hug, Ethan's right hand was comfortable placed about Bianca's waist and the other hand was around Luke's shoulder.

They stayed that for a while until Ethan got a little bit tired of hugging Luke. "So should we count down the last three numbers?" he asked.

They stopped hugging each other and Luke nodded. "Yeah. We are going to count down together, right?"

Bianca smiled. "Totally. Are we also going to spring in the river hand in hand, like one of those girly-girly movies Selena showed me?"

Luke let out a laugh. "That's totally what we are going to do."

Ethan didn't complain, after all he got nothing against holding hands with Bianca. Who would? She got those nice warm hands.

Ethan grabbed Bianca's hand, and their fingers interlaced.

Luke smirked. "Somebody's enthusiastic."

"Shut up, and take my hand." Bianca said, blushing a bit.

For once Luke did as he was told.

"Three, four, five!" They counted down together.

They jumped into the river with a promise. And the last thing Ethan felt before the river washed his memories was Bianca's warm hand interlaced with his.

Wohoo! Can you hear that? That's the sound of two update in a time period on 2 days. We have said early that we would do our best to continue updating, so here we are. But now we have also emptied our doc from last year, so it might be a while before we update again.

So in the waiting period, if you are longing for some minor ships, you can go check out my Tumblr blog, right here: https://www.tumblr.com/blog/minorshipsfromthepjofandom. Where I, Jaz, sometimes post AU ideas, and headcanons. Most of them are made by me, but sometimes Chilea and Mariam helps me.

Okay, that was enough shameless self-promoting for today.

Bye!
