Arcee grabbed Jack and we leaped out of the way. Arcee started shooting at it, distracting it while I tried stabbing it with my katana's. But it kept moving so I couldn't get a clear hit.

I charged at Arcee and knocked her off her feet.

Jack shouted her name and brought the attention to himself. I sighed and started towards them as we had leaped opposite directions.

I almost got to it when Arcee attacked it.

Jack commed everyone, warning them of the insecticon.

I tried helping Arcee but the insecticon moved too much.

"Jack. Go! ", Arcee shouted.

"Seriously?", Jack shouted.

"Do it!", Arcee shouted.

June said something and Jack paused before he answered her. He then entered the hallway leading to Vector Sigma.

I watched for a weak point on the insecticon but before I could find one, the bug turned to me and knocked me out cold.

*time skip*

When I woke up, I wasn't in Kaon anymore. I didn't know where I was.

I tried getting up but I couldn't. I looked down at my wrists and saw that they were restrained. I growl softly before looking around for my captor.

I saw him working on something before he turns to me. I immediately recognized him as Shockwave.

I tried to get my wrists out from the restraints but couldn't.

"Trying to escape is illogical", he said.

"Shut up!", I growled.

"Yes, you'll do wonderfully for my project", he says which caught my attention.

"Project?", I ask.

He ignores me and injects something into my bloodstream. I growl faintly before passing out yet again.

*time skip*

I woke up and noticed that I was in a container. What am I doing in a container.

The container opened and I immediately got out and stretched my wings. Wait! Wings?! I turn my head and notice that my paint job is different as well and I was walking on four legs instead of two.

I tried standing up on my two hind legs and ended up transforming.

"You can transform?", Shockwave asks.

"Of course I can transform, you one eyed idiot!", I snarl.

He ignored that comment and asks, "What can you remember?"

"Every fragging thing! From being with the Autobots to waking up like this!", I growl at him.

"You are a failed experiment. I will let you go on one condition. You do not let the Autobots know that you are actually Moon Princess", Shockwave says.

"What so you're saying I should change my name?!", I growl unhappily. He only nods.

"Fan fragging tastic! I get kidnapped by a creepy mech who then changes me into a predacon and then I have to change my name!", I snarl. He waits for me to come up with a name.

"Blood Moon", I say with sigh.

"It matches your paint job and the little moon you have on your forehelm", Shockwave says. I sigh.

"So how am I supposed to get back?", I ask.

"With this", he says as he opens a space bridge.

"Go through and you will end up on a secluded part of the planet", he says.

I nod and go through and notice I am in a forest. I decide to just wait for someone to find me, hopefully the Autobots.

*back at base, Sapphire's POV*

"A signal just popped up. It appears to be an Autobot", Ratchet says.

"Well, shall we comm whoever it is or ground bridge to their coordinates?", I ask.

"Ground bridging there would be most efficient. We would know who it is and we could ensure it is not a trap", Optimus says.

Ratchet nods and opens a ground bridge to the coordinates where the signal was.

*Blood Moon's POV*

I didn't have to wait for long before a ground bridge opened.

I waited for the newcomers to come and sighed in relief when the Autobots came through. With them however was a mech I didn't recognize.

"Who are you?", Bulkhead asks.

"I would say I'm surprised you don't recognize me, Bulk, but I know I look different then when you last saw me", I say with a grin. "The name is Blood Moon but you can call me Luna."

The look on everyone's face was hilarious.

"Luna? But your paint job...", Sapphire says.

"Is different? Yeah, I know. You can thank Shockwave for that. Yes he's still alive. He's just on Cybertron. He kidnapped me after the insecticon knocked me out", I pause before continuing. "He also made a few changes to my body structure." I said the last part quietly.

"What did he change?", Arcee asks.

"Let's go back to base. It'll be easier to explain it there and I don't want to explain it twice", I said quietly.

"Ratchet, open a ground bridge", Optimus says.

A ground bridge opens and I wait for a wrench to hit my helm.

I quickly turn to Optimus.

"I'm probably gonna be hit by wrench when I finish explaining, won't I?", I ask.

Optimus only smiles. That's reassuring.

Optimus walks through the ground bridge and I follow.

As soon as I get through, I am hit by a wrench.

I glare at Ratchet but quickly realize that it was actually Sapphire. I turn my glare on her but instead I am attacked by a hug from her. It surprises me but I immediately hugged back.

I smile as she releases me from the hug.

I turn to everyone and grin.

"So what'd I miss?", I ask.

Ratchet has a confused look on his face.

I laugh and look at the kids. They're confused too. I sigh.

"I knew you wouldn't recognize me immediately", I say before smiling sadly.

"My name has been changed to Blood Moon. I will still go by Luna however", I say.

Ratchet and the kids are definitely surprised when I say Luna.

"L-luna", Raf asks.

"Hey buddy. Miss me?", I say with a sad smile as my mind goes back to my change. He only smiles back.

I sigh as I begin ny story.

"As you know, I went with Arcee and Jack to find Vector Sigma. And as you know, we fought an insecticon. I was knocked out and when I woke up, I was in one of Shockwave's laboratories. He told me I was part of his project before injecting something into me that made me fall asleep. When I woke up, I was inside this container. I was let out and I soon realized that he had changed me. And let me tell you, predacons are no longer extinct."

"What do you mean, no longer extinct?", Arcee asks.

"Let's go outside and I'll show you", I say with a sad look.

We went up to the top of the plateau we were hidden in and they stood away from me as I transform into my predacon form.

"Dude! You look like a dragon!", Miko shouts.

I transform back into my bipedal mode and let it all sink in that I was not the same as when they  last saw me.

I looked up and looked at Optimus specifically. He seemed to be thinking about something.

Eventually, he looks right at me and smiles gently.

"Welcome back, Luna", he says.

Miko does some sort of weird cheer and I smiled gratefully.

I was immediately bombarded with questions from Miko as we went back into the base but I just ignored her for the most part until she asks one question that everyone in base heard.

"So do you still like Optimus?", she asks.

I immediately looked at her and she just smiles. I look over at Sapphire and see a guilty smile on her face.

I turn back to Miko and answer her question, "Yes, Miko, I still like Optimus." I said it so only she could hear. She grins at me and immediately looks at Optimus. Who was watching us with great interest. Actually everyone in the base was.

I started to get self conscious so I started walking out of base so I could get some much needed fresh air. And to cool down my burning face. Yes, I was blushing. I don't like being the center of attention.

I transform and try flying up to the top of the plateau. I get up there and land gracefully. I guess flying comes naturally to me.

I transform and sit on the edge of the plateau.

I hear someome behind and so I glance and see Sapphire.

"You okay?", she asks.

"I'm scared. I'm scared he won't like me back. I'm scared that he'll reject me because I'm a predacon now", I say bring my knees up to my chassis and hug them while resting my helm on them.

Sapphire gives me a side hug and I smile sadly.

"Don't worry. If he truly likes you, he won't care about what you look. He'll like you for who you are", she says.

I smile. "So you wanna catch me up on what happened while I was gone?"

"Well, it might take a while since you were gone for about a year.

"Wait, what?! I was gone for almost a year!?", I start freaking out.

"Yeah. In that time, we learned of the Omega Keys that can revive Cybertron. We also gained a new recruit who's name is Smokescreen. He says he's destiny's child", she says with a grin.

I snort. "Why does he think that?"

"He's says it's because one minute he was protecting Alpha Trion, the next he's serving with Optimus. He really respects Alpha Trion, though", Sapphire says.

"He better. If he didn't, he would get a really pounding from me", I say with a grin.

"Who would?", a new voice says. I turn and see the unfamiliar mech from earlier.

"Luna, this is Smokescreen", Sapphire introduced.

"Hey, Smokescreen. So you protected Alpha Trion, huh?", I ask.

He nods proudly and I grin.

"And he was awesome, right? You respected him more than anyone?", I ask with a grin.

"Yep! He was a great friend and an awesome mentor", he says.

"I'm glad you think so", I say.

"So who would get a pounding if they didn't respect who?", he asks.

I look at Sapphire and laugh.

"Smokescreen. I would've given you a pounding if your didn't respect Alpha Trion", I say with a smile.

"Why?", he asks.

"Well... because he's my sire", I say with a grin.

The look of shock on his face was amazing. I chuckled and shook my head as I stood up.

"What was he like as a sire?", Smoke asks.

I stop chuckling as sad smile appears on my face.

"I don't know... he didn't raise me. I only found out a year ago when we defeated Unicron. I don't know who my carrier is", I say.

Smoke's face was shocked.

"Why would he give up his child?", Smoke asks.

I shrug. "I'm guessing it's because he was a very busy mech and with my carrier gone, he didn't have enough time. Or maybe I ran away. I don't know. I don't remember much. All I remember is walking in the dark and running into Bumblebee when he was a youngling. I was a youngling at that time as well. I also remember my sisters."

Smokescreen looked very sad and he moved to give me hug but I wasn't really accepting of his hug. I turned away from him and looked out to the sunset.

"Smoke, she only accepts hugs from those she's very close to. And she doesn't just share that part of her past with anyone. She's very secretive. Only a select few know of her past", Sapphire says.

As I watch the sunset I stand up and transform, before jumping off the plateau and flying around. I land on the ground and walk into base after transforming.

I walked past Optimus and he looked at me and I gave him a small smile before it disappears.

I went to my berthroom and lay on my berth just staring up at the ceiling, thinking.

I've been gone for almost a year. I had to change my name. Optimus probably doesn't like me. I doubt they even tried looking for me after I disappeared. I bet they just gave up when I wasn't able to contact them or when they couldn't trace my signal. I bet they thought I was dead.

Before I knew it, I was crying. The last time I was crying was apparently almost a year ago when we lost Optimus. When he still thought he was Orion. I wonder if they told him what was going on with me when that happened.

There was a knock on my door and I immediately wipe away the tears.

"Who is it", I ask trying to keep my voice from shaking.

"It's Optimus", I hear him say.

I sit up and sigh before telling him he can come in.

"Are you alright?", he says.

I turn my head away from him and shrug.

He sighs before coming and sitting next to me. I hide me face even more trying to hide the fact that was crying again.

He wraps his arm around my shoulders and he sighs.

"Luna. I need to speak with you. I would like you to wait until I have finished speaking before you speak, okay?", he asks. I nod and he starts speaking.
