After Rhea changes back into her gi, and Acronix is sent to be guarded by Master Wu, everyone congregates in the courtyard.

Lloyd grits his teeth.  "Explain away, Rhea."

Rhea inhales deeply and waits a moment for dramatic effect, then shrugs.  "Darned if I know."

"NANI?!!"

"We just..  Do it.  I guess you either have the talent, or you don't."  She gives Lloyd another smirk.

"As much as I enjoy seeing Lloyd annoyed, we would all need to learn how to summon our animals, and you're our best hope for that."  Morro says smoothly.

"I-"  Rhea blushes furiously.  "Sure thing."  She mumbles.  "Shame you're not single."

You lunge for her.  "EXCUSE ME?!!"

Rhea leaps away from you with a terrified squawk.  "It's not like I'm going to wait until you fall asleep, tie you up, deport you to another Realm, steal your face and identity, and trick your team into believing that I'm you for the rest of my life or anything!!!"

"That was oddly specific."  Kai mutters.

You give her an evil glare.  "Stay away from my boyfriend, weirdo.  And my face.  And if I ever hear you enter my room in the middle of the night, I will not hesitate to scatter your atoms into oblivion.  Do I make myself absolutely clear?"

Rhea makes a strangled noise and nods rapidly.  "Clear as crystal!"

Morro watches the exchange with an amused grin.

"Don't get any ideas, Windy.  You're mine."

"That's how I like it, YN!"

"Good.  Me, too!"

Rhea glances fearfully at you, then clears her throat awkwardly.  "That little scene aside...  I suppose that I-  We, can teach you."

Emily claps her hands together forcefully, and Rhea jumps to attention.  "Ready to make my report, Ma'am!  I apologize for my complete lack of common sense and will strive to better myself in the future!!!"

Emily chortles, and Rhea spins around and faces her.  "Shoot, I thought that you were Ava for a second there, you little blond weasel!"

Emily pokes the illusionist in the back of the head and clears her throat, then marches over to Lloyd.  She points to his forehead, miming deep concentration.

"I think I get it!"  Lloyd exclaims, his eyes lighting up with understanding.  "It's really that simple?"

Emily nods and beams up at him.

"Wow!  You're so much better at explaining this than Rhea is."

Rhea curses under her breath and stomps further away from him.

The two blond youths turn to the team and simultaneously place their hands on their hips.  While Lloyd speaks, Emily squeaks emphatically at points.  "Okay, Em says that it's actually dead easy.  It's a matter of concentration, and of visualizing your power."

Jay slowly raises his hand.

Lloyd sighs.  "Yes, Jay?"

"Do we..  Get to choose what animal we get, or..?"

Emily shrugs and smiles.

"Well, I guess you can try.  I mean, if Rhea can do it, anyone can."

Rhea jumps up and yells at him.  "YOU KNOW WHAT?!!  DARN YOU, LLOYD!!!"  A large bear materializes in front of her with a roar.  "DESTROY HIM, JUNI!!!"

Lloyd emits a high-pitched scream and hides behind Morro.

"Leave him alone, he's still barely an adult."

"But-!"  A wingbeat sounds from above, and a red-backed hawk soars over the bear, leading it a safe distance away from Lloyd.

"LEAVE FLICK OUT OF THIS, EM!!!"

Emily blows a wet raspberry at Rhea and indicates that the team should try it themselves.

Surprisingly, Jay is the first ninja to manage it.  An octopus suddenly flies forth and attaches itself to Kai's face, causing the spiky-haired brunet to scream.  "AAAHH!!!  GETITOFF!  GETITOFF!  GETITOFF!!!"

"Whoops."

The octopus sparks angrily as Kai dances around the courtyard with it flailing its limbs, getting increasingly agitated.

"Calm down, Kai!"  Jay hollers helpfully.  "..I think it can sense fear!"

Nya peels the octopus off of her brother's face, its tentacles making a rather loud popping sound as it loses its suction.  She hands it to Jay.  "I believe this is yours?"
