"NO!!!  This is not how I plan on shuffling off of this mortal coil!!!"  Ava yells out defiantly.  She grabs an outcropping of rock and hangs onto it grimly, as Acronix dangles below her, letting out a volley of muffled screams.

"SILENCE!!!"  Ava shouts at him.  "Somebody help me up already, for the love of the First Spinjitzu Master!!!"

Rhea leans over the precipice.  "If you die, can I have all of your stuff?"  She asks hopefully.

"RHEA!!!  If I die, then you'll share my stuff with Emily!!!  If you don't, then I swear I'll come back as a ghost and haunt you for the rest of your miserable life!!!"

Rhea pales.  "Let's help her up then, shall we?"

Everyone joins together and forms a chain, with Lloyd in the lead.  He grunts as he catches hold of Ava.  "You're heavier than you look."

She glares up at him.  "I'm carrying two maces, supplies, and a dead weight.  Cut me some slack, will you, Green Bean?"  With Lloyds' help, she manages to scrabble back onto the plateau, her sides heaving.  "Thanks."

You all stare down at Acronix.

"Hey, Acronix!  How's it hanging?!!"  Jay yells to him.

"MMPH!!!"

"We could just leave him here for a bit, couldn't we?"  Kai asks pleadingly.

"Much as I'd like to, that wouldn't be right."  Ava answers, emitting an annoyed sigh.  "I'll get him."  

She yanks upwards sharply on the rope, and Acronix suddenly flies up over her head with a shrill shriek.  Ava quickly catches him before he hits the ground and rights him.  He grumbles something that might be a resentful thanks, then meekly allows her to guide him the rest of the way to the monastery.

Rhea dashes ahead and shouts out.  "Hey, look at all of the pretty pictures!!!"

When the rest of you catch up to her, she's staring, wide-eyed, at the murals lining the walls of the courtyard.  "Wow!"

"Amazing."  Ava whispers in awe.  "It's a complete visual history of all of your exploits together, isn't it?"  She runs a hand appreciatively over the surface of the paintings.  "They're magnificent.  I love the depth of shading over the details, it makes them all so lifelike."

A voice from behind makes her spin around.  "Yes, they are truly unique, aren't they?"

"MASTER WU!!!"  Emily lets out a joyful shriek as Rhea and Ava yell out exuberantly.

Ava hands Lloyd the end of the rope.  "Here!  Hold this!"  She says urgently.

"Wha-?!"  Lloyd automatically obeys, looking confused.

"Thanks!"  She grins and runs over to Master Wu.

"Did..  She just..?!!"  Lloyd splutters indignantly as everyone else snickers.

All three girls bow to your teacher.  "We missed you, Master!  Guess how many rock voles we had to-  OW!"  Rhea falls silent as Ava elbows her sharply.

"We've talked about this, Rhea..!"  Ava blinks apologetically at Wu.  "I know that you told us to remain hidden, Master, but there have been some developments that I think you should know about."
