Draupadi heard bangs on her door. But she'd not get up and dare to open it. She couldn't. Her pillow was wet with her tears that were streaming from her eyes.

"Panchali!" she heard almost everyone's voice. He father had come apologizing for a million times but her pain had not been reduced. She felt betrayed.

She had dreamth of a future where she had been given a choice of choosing her husband but here, her world turned topsy turvy. Her Govind had always been saying that life would not be as expected. But this was too much for her to digest.

"Draupadi, I will break the door now." Dyumna said from the outside. Panchali helplessly went and opened the door to see the faces of her brother and would be sister in law.

She ran back to her bed the next moment she opened the door. She was not able to face them.

"Draupadi." Dyumna cupped her face as he made himself comfortable beside her. "Mata and Pitashri didn't have any other option that day. I tried to stop them but failed. Please try to understand." he almost pleaded.

"So, that means you knew about this?" Draupadi asked instantly while Dyumna nodded sadly.

She at instantly stood up releasing herself from his hands and said, "You knew everything. But you didn't reveal anything to me. And all of a sudden they call me and him and give this shock. You hid the fact from me. From your sister! Please bhrata. I am not in a proper mindset to talk to you. Please go out."

"But Drau-"
"Please bhrata!!" Draupadi exclaimed in fury, hot tears forming.

"Dyumna, go for now. She needs time. Understand her situation also. Please.." Samhitha said as she wiped her tears.

Dhrishtadyumna went away having a last glance of his little sister. As soon as he shut the doors and walked off, Krishnaa collapsed into the hold of Samhitha crying her heart out.

"Why bhabhi? Why did this happen? Why?" Panchali cried.

"Yagya!" Samhitha cupped her face and made her sit. "Alliances are not new for you that I need to explain. But this just happened way too soon for you. Neither Mata and Pitashri are at fault nor you nor Arjun or his parents."

"Then whose fault is it bhabhi? Whose? Why did fate decide to play a game like this in my life?"

"It was just about circumstances Yagya. Answer my question. Do you love someone else? Tell me frankly. Let me see what we can do."

"I don't love anyone bhabhi. But what if Rajkumar Arjun have anyone in his life?" she asked.

Samhitha was silent for sometime. She didn't have an answer for it. "If at all, it's like that, either you will be having a co-wife or the girl has to sacrifice."

"Go freshen up. I will bring the plate of food for you and you are not telling a no." Samhitha said and walked away.

"Parth!" called Krishna.

"You knew about it right? Then why didn't you tell me anything?" Arjun said his voice too low. He wanted to shout but it just came as a mere whisper.

"It was not the right time Parth. And the truth unfolds itself when it's the right time and that was today. You were asking for your answers and today you have got it. There's no use in thinking about the past. Neither you nor I can change it." Krishna said sitting beside Arjun.

"Right time." Arjun chuckled sarcastically. "Now you all got the right time but it is the worst time for 3 people. Me, Sangeetha and Rajkumari Draupadi."

"Parth! This was what written in your destiny and it's not in our hands. You marrying my sakhi was written in your fate. And-"

"And what about Sangeetha?" asked Arjun choking at his words.

"This answer can be given only by her, the princess of Kashi. Go talk to her,and you will get your complete answer there." announced Kanha.

"Arjun wait." stopped Rukmini. Arjun turned around and saw his bhabhi tired. "Yes bhabhi?" he asked, his voice emotionless.

"I need to talk to you. Do you have time for me?" she asked eyeing at Krishna.

"I will leave. You both talk and then take the decision." Krishna said and left.

"First come here and sit." Rukmini motioned Arjun to the bench nearby. Arjun followed her. He was deprived of emotions. His every move proved that.

"Are your Mata Kunti or your Pitashri  evil?" Rukmini asked.

Arjun's head shot up quickly, "No! Never. Who told that? Never. It's not the truth. No!"

"No one told that. But both of them are coming into that conclusion observing your actions. Do they deserve it?" Rukmini asked, her voice low.

Arjun was silent. His parents didn't deserve it. But what could he do. He was angry at them. They played with 3 lives. It wasn't fair but they don't deserve that evil title.

"I can understand that you need time. Take it. But before that, please inform your parents about the same. Just once. Mata Kunti is unconsolable. Visit them once and then you can go." Said Rukmini.

Arjun nodded to her and both of them followed to the chamber where all elders were seated, there eyes brimmed with fresh tears and their ever bright face gloomy, the faces which had wide smiles now had the traces of tears.

"Mata!" Arjun called.  Kunti instantly got up and wiped her tears. "Putra!" she cried.

Arjun hugged Kunti tightly and knelt his head on her shoulder. Kunti cried into her son's chest. Arjun couldn't see his mother cry so much. And he being the reason for his mother's cry was pricking him and paining the most.

He cupped his mother's face in his palms and looked at his mother's eyes through his glassy ones, "Mata, please don't cry like this. The truth is out. But I need some time to digest this fact. Please give some time and don't ever think that you are undeserved."

"Take time putra. Take time. But, please don't leave your mother isolated. A mother can't stay far from her son." choked Kunti.

"Neither a son can stay far from his mother. I will be back mata. I can never hate you. I will be back to your lap of affection." Arjun smiled faintly and walked away.

Before going, "Madhav, I will be back by night maybe. Don't get tensed for me."
