Hello all. Hope you are doing well. I am back with the 21st chapter. I hope you all will like it. Happy Reading 💕
"Congratulations." Arjun and Draupadi wished the newly wedded couple.
"I am so glad that you both atleast.ade it. Let me introduce both of you. Arjun, Draupadi, this is the crown prince of Pallava, Abhiraj, my husband." Sangeetha smiled.
"And arya, this is my sakha and sakhi, Panchali and Parth, the crown prince and princess of Indraprasth." Sangeetha introduced.
"Pranam!" They exchanged the introduction.
"Sangeetha, your pitashri had called Rajkumar Arjun and Rajkumari Draupadi. Just check with it." Abhiraj said.
"Haa yes. I will send them." Sangeetha smiled at her husband.
"It was nice meeting you both. Let's meet and chat when free." Abhiraj smiled.
"Sure. Meet you soon!" Arjun smiled and Draupadi folded her hands in respect and smiled.
"How are you?" Draupadi initiated the conversation with Sangeetha.
"I am great and happy too. How are you both? How's marriage life?"
"We are fine and life is awesome too!!" Arjun gleamed.
From the past 2 days, Arjun's face never missed the smile. He was widely grinning without any reason. Was it a smile to hide the sadness behind or was it truly coming from his heart, Draupadi was unaware.
"Welcome dear Arjun and Draupadi." smiled Mahima, Sangeetha's mother.
"Pranipat Maharani." Arjun and Draupadi bowed in unison.
After few moments of exchanging the greetings with Mahima, Panchali and Parth went to Maharaj to meet him. Later they would have lunch and go back to Indraprasth safe and sound before it becomes late night. This was their plan, but not the Almighty's.
Mahima hugged Sangeetha tight and wiped a lone tear that escaped Sangeetha's eyes. She was the only person who knew about their past and Mahima was the anchor for Sangeetha from those days.
Sangeetha showcased that she had moved on but she still had not. Whenever he and Panchali came in front of her, her mind would re-trace to the days when they both, Arjun and Sangeetha had planned a cozy future. But nevertheless, she didn't show it to anyone and always smiled, this was her unique speciality!
Sangeetha sometimes would sit late night crying thinking about Draupadi. If she was not there, then maybe Arjun and Draupadi would have led a happy life without any discomfort. She accused herself of coming between their bond and thought that she had become an hindrance for both of them.
But there came Vasudev Krishna, who came to meet her almost every week after the incident trying to make her more strong. He treated Sangeetha more like a sister and always wished the best for her.
Yuvraj Abhiraj was a reputed prince of the Pallava dynasty. And for sure, he was a perfect match for Sangeetha.
Sangeetha was indeed lucky to have him as her husband in her life. She had got a wonderful family, the caring father Mrityunjaya, supporting mother Mahima, the protective brother Krishna, the friendly Draupadi, and another awesome friend, Arjun. Abhiraj was another addition to it, and she didn't wish for more.
"Keep visiting. Just because I got married, don't stop talking to me. Let's keep in touch, okay?" Sangeetha asked softly to Draupadi.
Arjun and Draupadi were about to leave back to Indraprasth, a final bye before they leave. Draupadi chuckled and hugged Sangeetha warmly. Draupadi had been trying to divert her mind all through the event, hearing Sangeetha address Arjun as friend was making her feel guilty.
But nevertheless, she was reminded by Arjun everytime he found her zone out.
"Best wishes for your future life and endeavours Sangeetha! And don't forget us settling with your husband." Arjun chuckled.
"Don't worry Arjun, if she tries to forget I will make her remember!" Abhiraj hugged Arjun.
"As if I will forget you. Even if I forget you, I will not forget my best friend Draupadi." Sangeetha smiled.
"Injustice!!!" Arjun murmured and Parshati and Sangeetha had a good amount of laughter seeing Arjun's pout and Pallava^ soothing him dramatically.
(^ - The Princes of Pallava are usually addressed as Pallava only. It is like another name for the princes of Pallava)
"We will leave then. We have to reach Indraprasth by evening." Draupadi smiled giving a break to their laughter.
"I understand. Keep visiting. Safe journey. Pranam." Sangeetha smiled hugging Yagyaseni.
As Parth helped Panchali mount the palanquin, Draupadi stopped him and asked, "You have moved on quickly."
"Mission ongoing. Not yet completed, but 75% accomplished for now." Arjun smiled widely.
Nityayuvani's eyes filled with tears, reason completely unknown. Noticing it, "Arrey, why are you crying? Please don't cry. You- you will look horrible similar to a demoness if you do. Please Panachali." Arjun dramatised putting up a scary look on his face.
"What?" Yagyaseni exclaimed not able to believe what he just said. Chuckling at her expression, Arjun held his ears and asked sorry once and mounted on his horse still giggling.
Draupadi just chuckled, shaking her head in disbelief. She saw a new side of him, and she loved this funny and loving Arjun.
"Jiji, you know what? Today Arya didn't speak much to Draupadi and Arjun only!" Satyabhama said her face radiating the astonishment in her heart.
"Really? Arya, it's really wonder of the universe. You, speaking less with Arjun and Draupadi. Wow. It's so unexpected!" Rukmini giggled.
Noticing Krishna not responding, both the wives of Krishna, Rukmini and Satyabhama called, "Arya!" at once.
Turning to the incarnations of Shri Devi and Bhu Devi, the 8th incarnation of Vishnu let out a small chuckle, "Sometimes, when you know something is going to happen, one intends to blurt it out. So, being silent is the best option."
Saying it, Devaki Nandan walked out leaving his two dear wives confused.
"What was he meaning Satya? I- I am terrified." Rukmini asked her eyes not taking off from the place where her husband said those words.
Understanding Vaidharbhi's tension, Satyabhama tried to console her saying, "Jiji. There would be nothing like what you are thinking. Just leave it there."
"But-" Rukmini tried to say but was interrupted by Satyabhama's strict glare, "It's your nap time now and in this time when our first child is in your womb, you shouldn't start getting tensed for these matters. Don't worry. Let's wait and see what will happen."
Satyabhama covered Rukmini with the duvet and walked away closing the doors of the chamber, while Rukmini carressed her slightly fat stomach and whispered, "Time will certainly answer for all our questions. Kalaya Tasmai Namaha!"
