Chapter 3- What's Beyond The Realm

"All right, but before I learn Waterbending, we have some serious business to attend to," He showed a map, and started to explain how you all will ride some animals, making you sigh.

'Maybe this journey will be the death of me,' You thought, as Twig rubbed his head against your hand.
"If I may," You looked look up to see the waterbender, who gave you a shy smile.

"We never got your name, while you know ours," She told you, and you shifted your body so you were sitting straight, giving them a raised eyebrow.

"My name?"

You softly groaned as you rolled your body to the other side, snoring peacefully.
"Name..." You mumbled, huddling yourself into a ball, until you felt something wet on your cheek.
"Sifu Iroh... tell Sifu Aye Aye to leave me... alone..." You muttered quietly, until you felt something hover over you.

You groaned and slowly opened your eyes, to meet face to face with a strange creature. It was an orangey color, with little black stripes on its head, and little ears that flickers. And what was your reaction?

You screamed

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" You screamed out, and the creature got startled and started to screech too.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" It repeated, and you quickly scrambled away from it, frantically panting in fear.

"S-stay back!! I know how to fight!!" You threatened, quickly picking up a twig and pointed it at the creature. It stopped screaming, and tilted its head at you. You shut your eyes to brace for anything as it got closer to you.

But then you soon opened your eyes again as you felt it's head rub against your hand, and it purred at the contact. You put the twig down and allowed it to be petted by you.
"Aww, you just wanted a petting," You slowly smiled, and the creature then walked off the paw at something.

You followed and realized it was your Lute.
"My Lute!" You quickly grabbed it and stood up, finally noticing your surroundings. Trees, grass, sky, all too similar to your home. But then... you saw it.

A human home.

"I'm... in the human world..." You muttered, shock and awe, clutching your Lute tight and stood near the cliff side. The lights, the shape of the homes, they were-
"Beautiful!" You beamed brightly, a dopey smile on your face as you felt excitement.

"I'm in the human world!" You laughed and jumped around, then turning back to the human place.
"Wait... I bet that's where Sifu Iroh and Sifu Aye Aye is!! They said to always follow hope, and I have hope that they're over there!" You told yourself, and shuffled to get ready.

"I hope to see you again tiny creature," You told the animal, who simply tilted its head at you and cooed, making you feel something in your stomach, but you quickly shook it off as you turned back to the home of the humans.

"Prepare yourself, I'm coming to find my Sifus!" You grinned and took a few steps away from the cliff, then ran full speed off the cliff, jumping and feeling the wind surround you. You caught yourself on a tree branch and kept on swinging.

"Look out humans, I'm coming!"

"Woah... it's more... quieter at the cliff," You mumbled as you peaked from the tree you were hiding and looked at the humans walking around. You hummed, moving your Lute on your back and cracked your knuckles.

"No matter. Nothing is too scary for me anyways!" You too a deep breath and used your claws to climb up a very tall home, and halfway, you peaked over to fully see the inside.

Humans walked all around, with strange things moving by wheels, and shouts of humans trying to sell some things.
"So loud, and strange," You snorted, and climbed at the side of the home.

You observe each and every human as you walked along the roof of the homes. That was until you heard your stomach growl.
"Hmm... do humans eat?" You wondered, and started to sniff the air at the scent of something delicious.

You followed until you were on top of a tent with a human seeking these strange foods that looked like the inside of an animal. It smelled good though, so you wrapped your tail around a pile and lowered yourself in front of the human. She gasped in shock as you slowly grabbed some food, not breaking eye contact with her.

"Thank you!" You smiled at the woman, stuffing the food into your pockets and pulling yourself up onto the roof and ran off, hearing the woman's shouts after you. You practically melted as the food touched your tongue, resulting in you scarfing it down.

"Reminds me of Iroh's cakes," You purred and continued to wander the streets, looking in awe. As you continued to walk, you saw humans turning their heads to see you, in strange attire, and of course, our lava hair and tail.

Small humans pointed with bigger humans pulling them away so they would stare too.
"Sifu Aye Aye was wrong, humans are funny!" You snorted and turned a corner to see a group of small humans running around and laughing while wearing some strange costumes.

"I'm Twig!! The Delusional Bender's sidekick!! Fear me!!" One shouted and chased others around, screaming and laughing.
"Hm...?" You mumbled, watching the small humans continuing to run.

Suddenly, shouts and cries were heard as you turn to see a machine with wheels, with humans inside it. And they did not look friendly. They moved fast, and the kids ran off in fear as the humans in the machine got their direction towards your way.

"Out of the way, brat!" The men laughed loudly, and the machine drove faster, towards you quickly. Your eyes watched the vehicle, and you did not move at all as it came closer, with other people yelling and shouting to catch your attention.

CRASH

"This is cool!" You beamed, holding the vehicle up in the air, the front part crushed from your grip, and you dangled it over your head.
"How are you able to work such a strange thing? It's amazing!" The men in the vehicle were shocked, but mostly terrified, as they were holding onto their seats with their life.

Everyone looked on in shock, not only seeing the biggest gangs getting stopped by a child, but the child being able to pick up a sato-mobile so easily.
"Are you able to control this by yourself? If so, could I ride it?" You then start to shake it side to side, up and down, and you didn't listen to the cries and pleads coming from the men.

Just then, the sun was covered by something that was not a cloud. You looked up to see something flying over the buildings and you were immediately in awe. You dropped the vehicle, causing a loud thump, and the men quickly backed up to drive away.

You continued to stare upward at the floating thing as you then noticed people hopping out and sliding down with... rope? They all landed in front of you, and they held their arms out, like they're ready to attack you. You tilted your head, but kept a smile on your face as you still thought about Iroh's stories.

"Hello humans, I am just a humble spirit. You all seem a little stressed," You started, and slowly shifted to hold up your Lute. You saw them tense up, but they looked at each other in confusion.

"I would love to play a small tune, to calm you all" But when you were about to play, someone landed behind you, making you turn and see who it was.

It was a tall woman with gray hair, a scar on her face, and her arms outwards towards you.
"I suggest you don't move unless you want your toy destroyed," She demanded, and you held your Lute close to you, looking at her like she committed murder.

"How rude! I did no harm!" You argued with her, feeling a little wary now.
"Destroying a road with a Sato-mobile and in entanglement with the Triple Threats? I'm sure you did some harm all right," She glared down at you.

"A Sato-mobile? So that's what it's called," You mumbled in awe, and you suddenly feel a jolt through your body.
"I have to go now," You tried to take a step, but then felt something sharp on your wrist. You looked to see that a wire was wrapped around it, and the woman pulled you towards her harshly.

"You're not going anywhere," She hissed out, and the others started to stalk around you, making you feel threatened.
"Hey now I don't want any trouble just let me go and you'll be fine," You said as a warning.

"You just need to come with us," She warned slowly, and you saw her hand reaching out to you. You suddenly felt fear again, not wanting anyone to touch you. Where was this feeling coming from? Why are you afraid of physical contact?

The ground started to shake, and you felt something in your chest, like something sparked inside of you. Pillars of earth shot out of the ground, causing the humans to leap away and hang against the buildings, which gave you time to run off.

"The human world seems a little scarier than the spirit forest!" You yelped as you heard them coming after you. Using common sense, you used your spirit abilities and zig zagged through the city, trying to disappear into the spirit world.

"Iroh, Aye Aye, I need you!"
